She affectionately took Charlotte's hand and said, âSince we parted last time, Iâve been wanting to chat with you, but | never found the right opportunity. | didnât expect to meet you here today...â
âChat?â Charlotte smirked. âSure, why donât we find a quiet place to have a good chat?â
Wendyâs smile froze on her face. âIsnât that a bit rude? How can we leave the senior alone?â Wendy softly scolded.
Charlotteâs expression turned serious as she slowly pulled her hand away from Wendyâs embrace. âIâm sorry, | have other things to do.â
She understood Wendyâs plan, and although she wouldn't intervene, she also didnât want to become a bridge for Wendy and Joe to strike up a conversation. Especially since she wasnât very familiar with Joe herself.
Charlotte quickly walked away, and Joeâs brow furrowed. He glanced indifferently at Wendy, said nothing, and followed Charlotte.

Charlotte had thought Joe would stay and talk to Wendy, but to her surprise, Joe caught up to her not long after they left.

After a moment of silence, Joe shook his head. âIâm not familiar with her, and thereâs nothing to say.â
They walked for a while and arrived at the girlsâ dormitory.
For some reason, Charlotte silently breathed a sigh of relief when she saw the dormitory from a distance.
She turned to Joe and gave him a bright smile. âThank you for bringing me here, I'll just...â
Before Charlotte could say goodbye, Joe took out his phone. âIt seems like we haven't exchanged contact information yet?â
Charlotte was taken aback, but then slowly took out her phone and added Joeâs contact information.
âGoodbye.â
After adding him on WhatsApp, Charlotte didnât waste a second and quickly said goodbye to Joe before going upstairs.
Back in the dorm, Charlotte unsurprisingly found Eva already lying on the bed. âYou left me alone with Joe!â Charlotte complained to Eva.
Eva quickly blinked her eyes. âI was just trying to give you two some alone time.â
Before Eva could finish her sentence, Charlotte grabbed her wrist and started tickling her.
