The arena was alive with an ocean of lights—thousands of fans waving their glow sticks in sync, their voices merging into an overwhelming chorus of cheers. The stage beneath Taehyung's feet pulsed with warm golden light, reflecting off the shimmering embellishments of his tailored suit. His outfit sparkled under the spotlight, making him look almost ethereal, like a dream made real.

With a microphone in hand, he stood in the middle of the grand stage, his deep, velvety voice filling the vast space. He had dreamed of this moment—of standing before a crowd that loved him, of singing his heart out for the world to hear. And now, it was real.

The soft melody swelled, the piano harmonizing with a gentle guitar as he closed his eyes and sang:

"Through every storm, through every night,

You held my hand, my guiding light."

"No matter how far, no matter how high,

With you beside me, I learn to fly."

His voice carried emotions so raw that the audience swayed with him, their eyes glistening. The giant LED screen behind him showed his expression in breathtaking detail—the tenderness in his gaze, the small, knowing smile playing on his lips.

Among the crowd, fans sang along, some with tears streaming down their faces, others holding banners with his name in bold letters. Somewhere in the front row, a familiar presence stood out—dark hair, sharp eyes filled with pride.

Jungkook.

Taehyung's heart clenched. Even after all these years, Jungkook was still there, watching him with the same unwavering gaze, the same love that had never faded.

Taehyung took a deep breath and continued, his voice growing softer, as if he were singing to just one person in the entire world.

"If this is a dream, I never wanna wake,

For in your arms, my heart won't break."

Jungkook smiled, his eyes shining as he listened, knowing the words were meant for him.

Taehyung's grip on the microphone tightened as he reached the last line, looking straight at Jungkook.

"Forever, it's you... it's always been you."

The final note lingered in the air before the crowd erupted into deafening applause, chants of his name echoing through the stadium.

Taehyung let out a breath, his chest rising and falling. Underneath all the flashing lights and screaming fans, his eyes met Jungkook's once more.

And in that moment, he knew—this was exactly where he was meant to be.

Backstage was a frenzy of movement—staff members congratulating each other, backup dancers laughing, camera flashes going off to capture every moment. But for Taehyung, the world around him was nothing more than a blur. His heart pounded in his chest, but not because of the adrenaline from the concert.

It was because of him.

Jungkook.

Taehyung spotted him standing near the dressing room entrance, leaning casually against the wall with his hands in his pockets. His dark eyes were already locked onto Taehyung, filled with something deep, something indescribable. He was still wearing that proud, almost smug smile—the one that made Taehyung weak in the knees, just like it always had.

As soon as their eyes met, Jungkook pushed off the wall and strode toward him, effortlessly moving through the crowd of crew members. Taehyung barely had time to react before Jungkook's hands cupped his face, his thumbs gently caressing his cheeks.

"You were breathtaking," Jungkook murmured, his voice laced with admiration. "I knew you were meant for this, but seeing you up there, shining like a star... damn, muffin. You were unreal."

Taehyung let out a soft laugh, feeling warmth spread through his chest. "You always say that."

"Because it's always true," Jungkook countered, his gaze unwavering. "And you know what else is true?" He tilted his head, eyes darkening slightly as he leaned in. "I'm still completely, hopelessly in love with you."

Taehyung felt his breath hitch. Even after all these years, those words still had the power to make his heart race.

Instead of replying, he reached up, threading his fingers into Jungkook's hair before closing the distance between them. Their lips met in a slow, lingering kiss—soft, warm, and filled with every unspoken emotion. The noise of the backstage chaos faded away, leaving only the feeling of Jungkook's arms wrapping around him, pulling him closer.

They melted into each other, as if the past five years hadn't changed a thing. As if they were still the same two people who had fallen in love under the golden hues of a beach sunset.

When they finally pulled away, Jungkook rested his forehead against Taehyung's, his breath slightly uneven. "So, what now, Mr. Superstar?" he teased, a smirk playing on his lips.

Taehyung smiled, his fingers still curled into Jungkook's shirt. "Now?" He let out a content sigh. "Now, I go home... with you, my husband."

Jungkook chuckled, squeezing Taehyung's waist before pressing another soft kiss against his temple. "Good answer, Muffin."

As they walked out together, fingers intertwined, Taehyung glanced up at the night sky, the stars twinkling above them. He had once thought that dreams were just illusions—something beautiful but unreachable.

But now, standing here with Jungkook beside him, he realized—this wasn't a dream.

This was real.

And it had always been him.
