Ela's POV,"Anyone care to explain? What was that?", Sam held his knees while panting.Kylen and I dropped our hands, looking at each other. While having breakfast, Kylen shared the story to Sam."Damn. I missed it!"I passed a glare to him, "It happened because of you.""Can't believe a grandpa made us run like that!""Yeah!"Sam was a little dull."Since we are here, why don't we have a quick tour around.", I said aloud.Kylen nodded, observing Sam.We went to the famous food street and tried different dishes of multi-cuisine.I giggled happily, seeing us back as a trio.Sam asked, "You are radiating today. What's the reason?""Well, we like it or not. It's six months and a 3 days to us being mados.", I smiled.Kylen, "Hmm. That's why you came to guest house to invite us.""Awesome.", Sam was surprised."I actually wanted to celebrate with you guys, but both of you on a mission to stay distant from me, made me believe it was not possible us to even meet.", I gave a half smile."Sorry for that. Kylen wanted-"Sam halted while I saw Kylen signed him to not to continue."Guys! If there's anything left about Shawn or anything related to me, spill it out! I want the Shawn chapter to be over at any cost.", I clapped my thighs."Nothing. There's absolutely nothing about you or your ex-boyfriend.", Kylen replied with a straight face."Since you really want that chapter off, why don't you share how your love story began?", Sam circled an arm around my shoulder."Whose lovestory?", I asked."Shawn and yours! You have multiple?! I'm more eager to hear now!"I frowned at him as we continued to stroll.Kylen was behind us. I don't know if he was keen in listening it or not.I started, "It was four years ago where I saw him for the first time in college, coming out of his Rolls Royce with his gang. He had a different aura whenever he used to come to college. He was a senior to me belonging to another department. His father was my professor, back then. Sometimes, my friends and I went to his house to get tuitions from his dad. And we started to happen have collisions. He used to salute me or openly flirt with me every time he saw me.""Woah. Falling in love with professor's son. Interesting.", Sam remarked."Yeah. Out of nowhere, Shawn came to my class one day and asked me to go out with him. My friends compelled me to go. Soon, we started going out more and more. We loved each other's company."I paused, "And his father / my professor caught us sneaking out of college one day in broad daylight.""Was his father against your relationship?"I shook my head, "He knew I was serious, and Shawn as well seemed to be. Then, Shawn graduated and earned a job in Los Angeles. On his graduation day, he had proposed me in front of the entire college. We also won the title of best senior-junior couple, that day.""What was your reaction to his proposal?", Kylen asked."Oh. You are listening.", I smiled."What other entertainment do I have here, ma'am?", he rolled his eyes.I continued, "Of course, it was all of a sudden. I just hugged him, and I didn't want him to feel bad before leaving. Later, I told him I needed some time. He was bit shocked and frustrated because he badly wanted us to celebrate together. He left next day to LA, canceling the party.""Oh. Is that why he refused to believe your truth, because he thought you never wanted to marry him?", Kylen stood before me, asking it.I paused as this never stroke my mind."Kylen. Listen to her story completely."I sighed, "Later guys."Sam patted my head, "You can continue whenever you want. We will be sticking together, okay?"I nodded with a smile.A while later,Sam had gone to checkout from his room.Kylen and I were waiting for him in the park beside the hotel. It was almost dark as the sun was lowering.Kylen was kicking stones while I was busy in smiling at the kids playing in the play area."Well, you never shared any of your stories with me-? Kylen?"There was no response.I looked to my left."Where did he go?"I turned behind searching and saw a man covered in sludge.Recognizing it was him, I laughed, "When did you fall?!"He was completely covered in wet mud from head to toes.Kids shouted, spotting him, "Mud monster. Aaah!"They ran off while I held my tummy, bursting out."Mud monster.", I repeated, unable to stop myself from laughing. My laugh ceased as he was rubbing his eyes with those dirty hands.I hurriedly paced towards him."My eyes are burning. I can't open them."Oh god."Walk with me."I got him to sit on a bench. Taking out a hanky from my sling bag, I wiped the portion around his eyes.He was finding it difficult to open his eyes."I thought I was the messy one, falling always. Glad to know I'm not alone!"I tried cleaning his eyelashes slowly while they were batting continuously.Leaning towards his face, "Look up and don't move your head."I wiped from the corner of his right eye. Before I could do for the left one, he started to shake his head again.I held the back of his neck for the grip and got myself closer."Better?", I asked. He nodded, "Yeah. It's just that my eyes are shedding tears now."He tried to keep his eyes wide open. Not aware of the fountain tower behind this bench turning on, I continued tapping around his face with a tissue. All of a sudden, the fountain water cascaded over us with a huge splash.I gasped before Kylen pulled me onto his lap, with his one hand coiling my waist. My fingers squeezed his shoulders in reflex. The water danced away with lights, leaving us drenched. His nose rubbed against mine and our lips merely were separated by a thin film of droplets.
