Chapter 16: Chapter 10: Movies

After I was done moving in, I wiped the sweat off my forehead on the back of my hand.

I was extremely hot even with the air conditioner on.

I've never moved so many things all at once before and I was already exhausted.

I sighed since looking around my home, I still saw I had a lot left to do.

I decided to start with the smaller things like my clothes and undergarments.

And then work my way up into moving things that took more effort to organize.

I had no problem with moving, but unpacking and packing up things was one of the most annoying things to do.

At the moment, I wished everything was where it needed to be.

Besides that I was still excited to have a huge room in a new home.

My room had a queen size bed, neatly made, two straight-backed chairs, a bureau--without any mirror--and a small table.

There were no drapery curtains at the dormer windows, no pictures on the wall.

All day the sun had been pouring down upon the roof, and there were no screens since the windows had not been raised.

But despite that, moving here felt like a fresh start.

I sighed, yawning from unpacking and decided to take a break.

I flopped down on my bed and got on instagram until I received a text from Hannah.

Hannah: Hey :)

Katherine: Hey, what's up? :)

Hannah: Do you want to go see a movie?

Katherine: Yeah sure. I'll be ready in a minute

I got up from my bed and decided to change my clothes into something that was more comfortable.

I decided to place on a SpongeBob t-shirt, jean shorts and sneakers.

After I was done dressing, I headed downstairs meeting my dad in the living room.

He and my uncle were moving in the rest of the things which was mostly newly bought stuff.

"Hey dad, I'm going with my friend, Hannah to the movies." I told him when he looked up from what he was doing.

"Alright just come back by curfew." He smiled and I smiled back at him.

Okay." I replied and after I told them both goodbye, I left.

I loved that the weather was really nice outside even though it was the winter time.

Since I lived a few homes away from Hannah it didn't take long to get there.

I walked up her home stairs and knocked on the door.

"Hey, are you ready?" I asked.

"I can't wait to see Avengers 2." Hannah smiled, while we got inside her grey Mazda6 car.

"Me too, I've been waiting for so long to see that movie." I said.

"I've been waiting so long to see that movie. Plus the only reason why I want to watch it is because of Chris Hemsworth." I fan girl over him since he was such a DILF.

"Um, all the guys on there are hot, well most." Hannah said, while I nodded my head in agreement.

She then started up her car, and drove towards the movie theater.

A while later, we got there and waited in line to buy the movies tickets.

I sighed, annoyed since the line was long and going very slow.

While I waited in line, someone stepped inside my personal space and I felt their hot breath on the back of my neck.

It smelled so bad that I felt like barfing, while I shuddered in disgust.

"Can you move back a little?" I turned my head to look at the guy which a huge mistake since his bad breath became so strong that it was deadly.

"No here is good." He said with attitude. He was 5'7, had jet black hair, and looked a hot mess. He looked like the male version of Liza Minelli.

"You don't have to get smart." I rolled my eyes and turn back around. Why do people these days have to be so difficult?

After we brought our tickets, we walked inside the screening home and sat down in our assigned seats that was the ninth row in the middle.

When I sat down pretty comfortably in my seat, the rude guy from earlier, sat down next to me.

Moments later, the lights dimmed down and the movie began.

While I watching the movie, I rested both of my arms on the armrest chair.

Seconds later, the guy who sat down next to me started to fight with me for the armrest chair. Seriously?!

"Dude, what's your problem?" I asked, annoyed.

"You're my problem and this is my arm rest chair." He glared at me, while I did the same.

"Well find another seat since I had it first, asshole."

"Hey guys keep it down. I'm trying to watch the movie." Someone from behind us said.

When the rude guy realized that I wasn't going to back down, he gave up and rested his arms on his leg.

I then sighed in relief and looked ahead to enjoy watching the movie.

My enjoyment was shortly lived, when another person from behind me started ask a lot of questions and talk loudly, while the movie played.

"Girl, you are a dumb bitch for walking inside that dark room. Damn boy you thirsty. Yaaasss Chris Hemsworth is bae though!" She called out.

I then turned around and rolled my eyes at the person. When she saw me, she rolled her eyes also.

Suddenly, the usher stood beside her since she was sitting in the first seat that was in the tenth row.

"Excuse me, ma'am, you're going to have to leave for disrupting the peace." The usher said, seriously.

"Bitch, don't start. I paid $20 to watch this movie and I will watch it." She said with attitude.

The usher then called the police to escort her out. Moments later, she left with them following behind her, while she sashayed away.

"Finally." I muttered.

Why can't people realize that the movie theaters aren't their home, and other people paid to enjoy watching the movie?! I thought.
