- Avery's POV -
"Woah. Woah. Woah. What did I miss here?" Meg says as she stares strictly at Parker and I's intertwined hands
"Yeah, I'm confused too. Are you guys together?" Madds said continuing her sister's thoughts. I looked over at Parker who smirked at me before responding.
"She couldn't resist me" he said and Jenna snorted
"Right" she said sarcastically and Parker rolled his eyes.
Um, since you might be a little confused, let me enlighten you what has happened during this past week. Ever since Parker and I exchanged 'I love yous' things have been a bit weird. We decided that we wouldn't care what the people who formerly thought we were siblings thinks about us being together. Yeah....we also decided that we should be together, as in a couple. We didnt do anything differently than we normally would do beside a few kisses and hand holding here and there. We tried to avoid all of our friend as long as possible because we knew we would probably be bombarded with questions as we were now.
We actually managed to avoid them for a week or so but now we were caught. Oh and I forgot to mention that Parker got his voice back yesterday. I can't describe how it felt when he actually said 'I love you' to me. I have to say, it was a great feeling in writing but hearing it out loud was even better.
"Earth to Avery" Parker said bringing me out of my thoughts
"Oh sorry." I smiled up at him and got lost in his warm light brown eyes.
"Ahem...uh...ahem" a sudden hacking brought me out of my trance
"Oh sorry....again. But to answer you question. Yes, we're finally together" I smile and tried to ingnored the shocks that spread through my arm as Parker squeezed my hand gently.
"Finally!" Madds squealed and ran over to Parker and I, giving me a hug.
"I knew it would happen" Meg smirked as she hugged me
"And if you hurt Avery, I won't hesitate to cut off your balls" Meg smiled evilly at Parker
"Ryan, control your girlfriend" Parker yelled and came closer to me
"I'm not his girlfriend" Meg said while at the same time Ryan said
"She's not my girlfriend"
I knew they weren't together but from the way Meg was blushing and Ryan looked flustered, I could tell something had happened.
"Um, Meg can I talk to you for a second" I asked and she nodded. Since I knew that if we talked while in this room, everyone would be able to hear us because of their werewolf abilities so, I stepped outside the room with Meg.
Her eyes were darting everywhere but me. I opened my mouth to start interrogating her but she beat me to it.
"So....Jenna's shirt is really nice don't you think?" Meg said wringing her hands
"Yes but-" I said but she cut me off
"Oh and do you believe Madds and Alex are together already? If only all relationships could be like theirs" Well, I didn't know that but now I do. I have to be sure to talk to her later.
"Oh thats great but-" I started but was interrupted once again
"So did you and Parker-" she started but this time I stopped her
"Shut it!" I yelled and she quieted down
"Anyways...what's going on with you and Ryan?" I asked my voice softer than before
"Nothing" she said quickly and looked away
"Sure..." I drawled and she frowned
"Youre going to hate me" she replied and I raised my eyebrows
"Why would I hate one of my best friends?" I asked
"Because he helped you get kidnapped and here I am smacking lips with him" she rambled and I gaped
"Really?" I squealed and she froze
"Im sorry. I really am. It just happened and I know I shouldn't have done that but he was just there and his lips looked so kissable and he just-" she babbled
"Ew stop. You have nothing to be sorry about. He's your mate and besides, I'm over the whole kidnapping thing. I mean, if you don't forgive and forget how can you enjoy life?" I explained and she nodded
"So....youre not mad?" she asked quietly
"No. Not at all" I smiled and hugged her tightly
"I would never lose a friend over that" I continued and she grinned
"Good because I need your help" she said her cheeks turning a light pink.
"With what?" I asked scared of the answer
"Well, Ryan asked me out on a date and I'll need help getting ready....well, at least thats what I read in books." she said and I grinned
"I would love to help!" I yelled and while laughing both of us walked inside.
"That was a long talk" Jenna commented
"Uh huh. We had many things to discuss" I smiled
"Ok?" Jenna said returning to her conversation with Madds
"Are you ok?" Parker whispered in my ear as he pulled me closer to him
"I've never been better" I smiled and moved forward to peck him on the lips
"UM....GROSS!" Jenna said and covered Madds eyes while laughing
"Shut up" I said leaning on Parker when I suddenly remembered something
"Meg" I called and she came towards me
"Yeah?"
"What time is your date?" I asked
"It's at 7"
"Oh ok" I replied and turned to Parker
"I'll be busy from 5:30 to 7" I whispered to him
"Thats too long. I'll miss you to much" he whined and I rolled my eyes
"You'll survive" I smirked and patted his chest
"Whatever" he pouted and crossed his arms but then a look of realization came across his face.
"Ok, meet me in the kitchen when you're done" he smiled and I gave him a questioning look
"What the hell? Why?" I asked
"Its a surprise" he smirked and walked away from me
Bastard.
"What time is it?" Madds asked outloud and I looked at my watch
"It's 3 o'clock" I replied and everyone was quiet for a second until Meg yelled
"Let's go shopping!"
"Fuck no. I hate shopping" I scowled. I always made my mom...well, Parker's mom get clothes for me. But, when I had to, I would go. I went to the mall like...twice a year.
"Please.....for me? Plus, I need to buy something to wear tonight" she said and gave me a puppy dog look.
"No." I gritted out
"Aw come on. Just this once" Madds joined the pleading and also made a puppy dog face
"HELL NO!" I yelled
"Just go and make Meg happy" Jenna said and made a puppy dog face too. Oh my god, Jenna's puppy dog face was really good. How the hell did she do that?
"Fine" I frowned and everyone cheered
"Hurry we have to go now if we want to make it back in time" Meg shouted
What! It was only 3:15....did they honestly think I was going to spend over an hour at the mall?
"We can take my car, I'll drive. The mall is ten minutes away from here so, there might be some humans there." Jenna explained and we all nodded following her to her car.
I sat in the back with Madds and Meg took shotgun. As Jenna started the car up the radio played a familiar song.
"We keep this love in a photograph
We made these memories for ourselves
Where our eyes are never closing

Times forever frozen still" we all sang or more like screamed
"I love this song" I said and everyone nodded
"It's so nice" Madds said
"and catchy" she continued
"Uh huh" I agreed. Before I knew it, we arrived at my enemy. The mall.
"Ugh...I'm totally regretting my decision right now" I groaned not wanting to get out of the car
"Just get out" Jenna said and with another groan I got out of the car following behind the others.
"Do you guys hate me?" I muttered causing them to laugh
A few minutes later I was being pulled into some dress store. Ugh!
"Help me pick something to wear tonight" Meg said to all of us
"Well....what are you guys going to be doing?" I ask
"Uh, he said to dress formal but not too formal" she said and I rolled my eyes. Way to be specific Ryan.
"Ok" I nod
"How about this. Each of us pick a dress for you and then you try them on to see which you want. You can pick too" Jenna suggested
"Sounds good" Madds shrugged and I gave her a thumbs up
"Ok....go" Meg said and went walked away to another rack of dresses I saw towards the left. Geez, I'm not good at this stuff. Well, I'm not terrible but I'm not good either. I walked to a rack of dresses that didn't have any of that bedazzle shit. I'm not a big fan of that. I looked through the dresses on the rack but they all looked so...dull. I moved towards another rack when I heard Madds call my name.
"Avery are you done? We all picked our dresses for Meg already" she yelled. Man, I'm slower than I thought.
"One sec!" I shouted and scanned the rack I had just walked up to. My eyes stopped at one particular dress. I ran my hands over the material and it was soft. It was a delicate peach color that had a black lace design around the bust. It had black straps and the length was mid thigh. I love it. I secretly didn't want to give it to Meg but I still did because where the hell would I go to need a dress as pretty as that. She deserves to at least decide if she wanted it or not.
"I'm here" I announced and put the dress I had in my arms on the pile of dresses on the couch in front of the fitting room.
"Finally" Meg said getting up from where she was sitting to try on the dresses. I sat down next to Jenna and we all waited for Meg to come out.
"I'm trying on Jenna's first!" she yelled from behind the fitting room door
She came out wearing a dress that definitely wasnt for her. It just spoke...Jenna. If that was possible. It was simple, knee length, and classic white with elbow length sleeves.
"Ummm..." I trailed off
"Yeah...no. Try on the next one" Jenna said
"Jenna you should try that one on, it's so....you" I said and she shrugged but nodded. Meg went back in the fitting room and after a few seconds she threw the white dress over the door and Jenna caught it and went in another fitting room to put it on. Jenna came out first and she looked great.
"You look so nice. Get it" I encouraged
"I agree" Madds said and Jenna smiled
"Alright" Jenna said and went back in
"I'm trying on Maddison's dress now" Meg yelled and came out wearing a pretty tealish color short strapless dress. It had a nice elegant design by the bust. She looked beautiful.
"I like it" I said and Madds nodding looking proud. Just then, Jenna came out of the fitting room wearing her clothes and holding the white dress in her hands.
"Wow, you look nice" Jenna commented taking a seat next to me again.
"I like it too but, I've got two more dresses to try on. Then I'll decide." Meg said and we all nodded as she went back in the fitting room.
"I'm wearing Avery's" she called out before she came out
The dress still looked as beautiful as it did when I first saw it. I thought she looked great so I was surprised by Madds and Jenna's response.
"I think it doesn't go good with your skin tone" Jenna said
"Yeah, peach is not your color" Madds said thoughtfully
"I know right! Thats what I was thinking!" Meg said as she looked in the mirror.
"I thought it looked fine" I said and they all looked at me
"Youre crazy Avery" Meg said and then looked like she was analyzing me.
"Ya know....it would go good with your skin tone" she said thoughtfully while Jenna and Madds nodded
"No, I couldn't possibly-" I started to object but like usual I was cut off.
"GO TRY IT ON!" they all yelled in unison, tossed me the dress, pulled me up from the seat and pushed me into another fitting room. Well then.
I took off the shorts and tank top that I was wearing and slipped into the soft material of the dress. I reached behind me and tried my best to zip it up. It hugged my upper body and flowed out lower. I stepped out of the small room to show the others. When I got out they all gasped.
"You look gorgeous" Meg said
"You look great. So pretty" Madds said
"Youre so buying that" Jenna commented
"Thanks guys" I said feeling my cheeks warm. I went back inside the room and took of the dress before putting on my own clothes. I carried the dress in my hands when I step out and take a seat next to Jenna.
"I'm wearing the one I picked now" Meg announce before stepping out of the fitting room. She was wearing a royal blue short strapless dress and the top was a nude color with a royal blue leaf design over it. She looked stunning.
"You look absolutely perfect" I grinned
"I have no words" Madds said
"This is the one. Formal but not too formal like Ryan said." Jenna said and Meg nodded
"Ok, I'm getting this one but I also loved the one Madds picked so I'm buying that one too. Ill just wear it another time" Meg said picking up both dresses as we walked to the counter in the front. I ended up getting the peach dress, Jenna got the white, Meg got the royal blue and teal dresses and Madds said she had enough dresses. Then they all walked into Victoria's Secret leaving me awkwardly standing outside the store until I decide to go in. Apparently they didn't know what could happen tonight so Meg should be prepared.
I thought I would be able to sit by and observe this catastrophe but then they all ganged up on me and pulled me towards the lingerie section. Like...what the hell man?! They tried their best to persuade me to get something that would make Parker see how sexy I am....their words not mine. But I wouldnt budge. I walked out of the store holding my bag with the dress in it and waited for them to come out. Of course they took forever and when they finally came out I couldn't be more happier to get home.
When we got home it was 5:32. This was by far the most time I've spent at a mall. We all went to Madds and Meg's room so, that we can help Meg get ready. After Meg took a shower....a rather long shower must I say, we all got started. I was curling her hair, Jenna was doing her nails and Madds was doing her makeup. When I finished her hair I went with Jenna to pick out a pair of shoes for her from her closet. We ended up picking a pair of nude heels and Madds finally finished her makeup and final touches to her hair.
Meg was currently wearing a white robe and when she slipped it off, I realized that she must be wearing the stuff they got from Victoria's Secret. She quickly pulled on the dress and I zipped it up for her. She looked at herself in the mirror and gasped.
"You look amazing" I smiled
"Yep" Madds agreed
"Uh huh" Jenna added
"Thank you guys so much" Meg grinned and her ringtone from her phone sound throughout the room. She picked it up and read what I thought to be a text.
"He's outside" she smiled and grabbed her purse
"Well....have fun. But not too much fun" Jenna said
"Dont do anything we wouldn't do" Madds chuckled
"And most importantly...be safe" I grinned and Meg pursed her lips
"Whatever" she rolled her eyes and walked out.
We stood in absolute silence for a few minutes before exchanging a look with one another and we all darted out of the room. We ran down the stairs and rushed to the front door. We huddled around the glass part of the door and looked through. Meg walked towards Ryan's car and he opened the door for her. Before she got in he leaned close to her and gave her a sweet kiss and thats when we all looked away.
"Aw, they're so cute" I sighed
"I know right" Madds said and Jenna nodded
"Well, back to our boring lives" Jenna said
"Hey you wanna watch a movie in my room?" Madds said and Jenna nodded
"Sure-oh shit, sorry I cant. I have to meet Parker in the kitchen" I frowned
"Oh ok. Have fun" Madds wiggled her eyebrows
"Shut it" I glared
"Wait....don't you need to get your dress? It's in Madds and Meg's room" Jenna reminded me and I nodded. We all walked upstairs to Megs room and I grabbed the bag with my dress in it, leaving Madds and Jenna picking out movies. I walked to my room that I shared with Parker. It was just across the hall. I rested the bag on the bed in our room and I decided that I might as well shower and change. Parker was probably already in the kitchen because he wasn't here.
I stripped from my somewhat sweaty clothes and grabbed my towel before stepping into the shower. After showering I dried myself off and wrapped myself in my towel. I stepped out of the shower only to see Parker on the bed going through the bag with the dress in it.
"AH!" I screamed. God I was not expecting him to be here. Jesus Christ! I put my hand against my chest trying to calm down. In seconds Parker is in front of me and only then did I realized that I've only got a towel wrapped around me. Shit! Parker leans closer until we're pressed against each other. I can feel his warmth radiating through the thin towel.
"W-what are you doing?" I stutter and he runs his finger along the top of my towel
"Nothing" He says his voice low and deep as his eyes turn darker. Goosebumps raise on my skin as he barely touches my skin right above the top of the towel. He moves his hand away and clears his throat, his eyes regaining their light brown color.
"I want to know why you bought this" he smirked and moved his other hand from behind his back that was holding a black and red lacy material. Holy fuck! They didn't dare....I suddenly remember Meg and Madds wanting to sit in the back and I sat in the passenger seat when we were coming home. They said they would hold my bag in the back because there's more room back there. Then, I stupidly gave it to them. Those little...
"Avery?" Parker asked with a raised eyebrow as he waved the skimpy piece of clothing in front of me. I glared at him.
"I didn't buy that! They put it in my bag!" I said angrily and he gave me a look of disbelieve
"Sure" he said in a disbelieving tone and I let out a little growl of anger with apparently turned him on or something because his eyes immediately turned a dark shade. He threw the piece of lingerie on the bed and walked closer to me. I back up, gripping my towel tighter and soon I was against the wall. He nuzzled his nose against my neck making my eyes flutter shut.
"Don't do that" he whispered and looked at me with a smirk.
"Why not?" I said or more like whispered
"Because I love it too much" He whispered/growled and leaned in crashing his lips with mine. Fire, passion, love, heat and more intense feelings were taking place as he hungrily kissed my lips. I moved my hands from his shoulders to his soft hair. I threaded my fingers through his hair and tugged on it making him moan lowly. As his tongue wrestled for dominance with mine his roaming hands made their way to my ass that was barely covered with my towel. Oh shit! The towel. Before I could pull away Parker gently nibbled on my bottom lip and pulled away slowly. With one last peck on my now probably swollen lips he backed away, leaving me panting against the wall.
"I'll be downstairs in the kitchen dreaming of you in that outfit. Don't be too long" he winked and walked out closing the door behind him. Once the room was empty I slowly raising my fingers to my tingling lips.
