The Herbertâs Group had been in turmoil. The shareholders meeting had been trying to depose Peter from his current position but he ended up staying.
The news of Herbert compromising for their childâs sake was released.
Peter also finally held a press conference. He clarified that his mistake was due to effect of alcohol and he purposely mentioned about Kathy.

He probably didnât go to the hospital today as he was wearing white shirt and trousers.

Kathy quickly averted her eyes.
âShould I go out?â Instead of answering, Joseph asked her.
Kathy immediately shook her head, âNo, donât you also dislike being snapped by the reporters?â
âBut it sounds not bad if we get into the headlines together.â Joseph smirked.
âJoseph, donât mess around!â Kathy made a sour face. She had no other way but to clarify in front of the reporters today.
She couldnât stand to let Peter to ruin her reputation any longer.
âDid I mess up? Mrs Joseph?â He leaned on her, picking up her chin with her slender fingertips, gazing at her with his scorching eyes.
Kathyâs heart raced and lowered down her head.

âThen come over.â Josephâs smile was arousing.

Looking at her stubborn face, Joseph then cupped her chin. Kathyâs lips was blocked by him before she was able to react, familiar breath flowed in, and she was stunned.
âStill didnât know how to take a breath?â Josephâs voice was hoarse.
Kathy was pissed off. She bit Joseph when he was about to kiss her again.
Joseph narrowed his eyes, exerting a dangerous aura, âMrs Joseph, are you going to oppose me?â
âI was forced to!â Kathy turned away her head arrogantly.

âWhen did I force you? Iâm just teaching.â
