hearing ajax's words, aron was surprised for a moment. then he turned to volcanis, who looked back at aron with a surprised look.
when ajax insisted, aron had no choice but to bring someone with him, so he brought volcanis along with him.

hence, when ajax says those words about the inheritance, aron is shocked.
