White. Everything is white.
I feel strong and I feel happy, the memories of Hunter fill my head, causing me to smile as I think about the good times we had together. Everything is peaceful.
There's other people here, minding their own business as they walk into the white abyss. I walk forward, tapping someone lightly as I ask them where I am.
They give me a confused expression, and continue on their way. Leaving me standing in a mist of white by myself, string at my bare feet.
I'm scared, but I'm happy - I'm also very confused as to what's happening.
I know I'm not alive. But I feel as if I'd know if I was dead, would I not?
My heart begins to beat in my chest as I look around, panicking as no one acknowledges me, they stare right through me, and disappear. Panicking, I run forward, attempting to find someone. I'm alone, and my arms shiver with goosebumps as I feel like I'm drowning in a sea of invisible people.
I stumble over my feet and fall, breathing heavily as I land on my knees. I sit for a split second and breathe. None of this feels right. None of this.
In the distance I can hear vague whispers as I keep my head lowered. A hand appears in front of me and I sub-consciously grab it, allowing myself to be brought back into my feet, I look up, and stare into a pair of deep blue eyes.
The woman in front of me smiles lightly, the tears forming in her eyes her abnormally long dark hair falls to below her knees. She stands with large sobs about to erupt from her chest, looking as though she might fall into the white ground at any second.
"Cece." She cries as she runs into my arms. And I cry too, because I know exactly who she is.
She's my mother.
"Oh my baby." She cries as she clings to me, her arms fully wrapped around me. She's so beautiful, my mothers so beautiful as she cries and checks me over.
"W-what are you doing here?" She worryingly asks, placing her hands on my shoulders. "You shouldn't be here Cecelia, you can't be." She looks at me with wide eyes, pulling me close and looking around her in worry.
"Where am I?" I ask, breathing heavily as I begin to panic, the realisation that I might be dead puts me on the verge of breakdown. I can't be dead, I can't leave Hunter, I can't.
"Cece, this is the other side." She sighs, rubbing her hands through her hair. "Your not here, you can't be here?" She repeats to herself as she rocks me in her arms.
Finally holding the dear child she lost. The dear child she never had the chance to raise.
"You're still so young." She cries, "too young to be here. Not again." She mumbles as she once again wraps her arms around me.
Another figure then comes out of the white abyss. And I instantly recognise them, the tall structured frame almost creates a shadow as they walk towards me. Their power following where they go.
Instead, this time I meet them, the have life in their eyes, and a soul they possess.
It's the King, my father.
"Cece..." His eyes light up as he wraps me into his arms, swallowing me whole. My mother then hugs me aswell, and for the first time in a long, long time, we're a family again.
"I'm so proud of you sweetheart." My father adds as he smiles at me. I let the tears run freely down my face from seeing him, my emotions on override. He lightly cups my face, kissing my forehead as I clutch my parents tightly. Never wanting to let go, ever again.
He's so handsome, and my mother is perfect for him. Both look at each other with an insane amount of love before grabbing an arm each and walking with me.
"I've watched over you every single day." My mother smiles with tears on her cheeks.
"You've grown to be so strong and powerful." She adds, squeezing my arm.
"Like you mother." My father adds as he smiles and presses his forehead to hers. He stands proud before me as he smiles at me, his eyes gleaming with love for his mate.
"We love you." He states as he takes my hand, "I'm sorry that it took 17 years for you to hear it." He breathes as he squeezes my hand.
"I-it's Okay." I cry, "I-i can't believe that you are both here." I cry freely as I hold them close.
"I just wished I would've gotten more time with you." I cry, as my mother rests her head on mine.
"Me too Cecelia." She smiles. "And one day we will." She adds, as her grip loosens, my eyes shoot up to make contact with theirs.
"W-what do you mean one day?" I panic, worried that I'll loose them again. "W-where are you going? Why are you leaving me!" I shout as they both look to each other.
"We're not going anywhere child." She speaks sweetly, removing a stick hair from my wet cheek.
"There's someone very important here that want to speak to you." She smiles as the tears fall from her eyes. "Remember that we love you." She whispers before vanishing from my view. I'm alone, I'm all alone again in the white abyss again.
"Mom!" I shout out, "dad!" I cry as I run forward, breathily heavily as I begin to panic.
"I'm alone...."I mumble under my breath, "Im all alone."
"No Cece, your not." A very familiar voice adds. So familiar it gives me goosebumps as I realise who it is.
I turn around and freeze.
"You-your-"
"I'm you." She finishes for me, flashing me a familiar smile, I stand in awe as I'm confused as to what happening.
"But at the same time I'm not, am I?" She adds, tilting her head as I stand in complete silence.
"Two different names, two different lives, and two very different lovers." She smiles as she gently walks forward. I notice that she is slightly more mature than me, and seems to be just the smallest but older.
"But at the end of the day," she continues, "You are me, and I am you."
"Cecilinda...." I mutter under my breathe and she realises a sigh. "I'm going to pretend that this isn't the strangest thing to happen to me in the last thousand years." She laughs and I join in.
"I-I'm so confused I thought we were the same, I thought we had the same soul?" I ask as I walk around her, checking her for anything I don't have.
"We are, I'm the part of us that you don't remember, the rest of me is you." She points as I come to a standstill.
"I'm the girl that lived the life where I gave birth to a beautiful baby boy, and died, trying to protect him from Catori." She sadly smiles, "but it's time that we come together."
"What do you mean?" I ask myself, still extremely freaked out.
"It's time that you accepted your old life, your first life, and keep it as a part of you." She takes my hand. "It's time you take me as a part of you." She smiles.
"You've done so well Ce, and you managed to do what I couldn't. The moon goddess is pleased with us." She smiles as instead she begins to circle me, just as interested as I am.
"The Prophecy is only beginning Cece, it's it's not only you that's involved." She laughs as she walks towards me, placing both of her palms against mine.
"And this," she begins as she begins to absorb into me. "Is the moon goddess' was of saying thank you." She finishes as there is a large flash of light, almost like an explosion as I have to shut my eyes My the power of the light.
After that, everything goes completely dark.
