Hunter looked deep Into my eyes and panic entered me as I knew that he wasn't kidding. 99% of what he said was over-sarcastic, it was who he was, but he was kidding and this was real.

Another loud howl entered through the air, causing me to stiffen against him. I looked up at him as my breathing increased and every inch of my body began sweating with fear.

The cold sweat was running down my skin, giving me goosebumps all over as it made its way down my neck. I tried to control the chills it gave me.

I closed my eyes and leant against him, my head on his chest. And I quietly listened to the sound of his beating heart, which was beating quickly with manly adrenaline. Did I just call Hunter manly?

My eyes refused to open, I didn't want them too - I was too scared for my own life. Em was always right, and this was one of those times where she wished that she was wrong too.

Hunter wrapped his warm arms around me and held me even closer as howls were all let out from multiple directions. Let's just hope their friendly? Friendly Wolves, maybe they can sing for us?

My eyes shot open as heavy footsteps were coming towards us, but It wasn't two like a human, it was four. Hunter looked down at me and placed a single finger on my lips, signaling me to be quiet. The sparks from his finger touching me lips was enough to keep me quiet and I obeyed his order. Keeping quiet as the footsteps around us grew closer.

My shaking intensified.

Hunter, knowing that whoever or whatever it was slowly approaching us, climbed out of the hollow of the tree to catch them, before they caught us - It was like a game of cat and mouse.

I wanted to say something to him, the timing may not of been fantastic but If something were to happen to him then  I would've never forgiven myself if I didn't get to speak the words.

"Hunter... I want accept you as my m-" I was cut off.

Hunter had placed his hand over my mouth, and every single inch of my body questioned why. I stared at him, completely confused. My eyes searching for an answer.

He looked around to check that it was clear and lightly smiled, "Not just yet Ce, not just yet....also, your timing is pretty crap." He whispered, placing a light kiss on my forehead.

Annoyingly he placed me in the small Hole in the tree and ran off, leaving me confused and scared all at once. My senses kicked and I immediately panicked at the thought of either him or Em getting hurt - i'd be alone.

Em can handle herself, we all know that for good. I tried to comfort myself, but really I was freaking out as my hands were shaking uncontrollably.

Multiple growls sounded out into the cold air and without thinking I immediately ran to where it was coming from, but found myself at a small creek where on the other side, two wolves were trying to tear each other apart. Sinking their teeth into each other's bodies.

One was a soft brown and the other a very dark black. I only caught eyes with brown wolf for a second, but that was all I needed to see the bright blue eyes that looked back.

Hunter.

I began running towards him and he noticed this. Which gave the black wolf it's opportunity to injure him. The black wolf opened its mouth wide and began attacking and ripping at Hunters neck, spraying blood everywhere.

The unpronounceable cries that were coming out of him were tearing at my heart. Blood began going over both of them, even though it only belonged to one of them.

Hunter was whimpering in pain and even more of my enthusiasm went into running towards him. Shouting as loud as I could at it to stop, already knowing it wasn't going to work.

The black wolf was now content with himself, for it knew that all it had to do was clench it's jaw slightly and Hunter would die. It was almost snarling at me, watching me as I ran towards him but yet couldn't do anything to help him.

It's cold eyes told me to run, that it would catch me later. But I disobeyed.

By the time I had reached the river that was between us, somehow Hunter had managed to escape the black wolfs grip and was staring at it like it was Evil itself. Ready to pounce at it as if it were his prey.

In the blink of an eye both wolves were at each other's throats again and after one quick snap Hunter released the black wolf from his grip and it fell down onto the ground.....the life completely drained from its eyes.

I stopped dead in my tracks as this happened, and began breathing heavily as I increased my intake of oxygen. Not sure if my lungs were going to pop out of my chest.

Ignoring the cold, dreadful water that entered into my shoes. I continued to run through the water, careful to not slip on any sharp rocks that threatened to split my skin. My breathe caught as I watched Hunter painfully shift back into his normal form.

I practically jumped into his arms, and he held me close as my hands came in contact with thick, warm blood. My eyes opened wider than they already were, and I began analyzing him to find the source of it. Not doing it very well since they were practically filled with tears.

He chuckled at this, he actually chuckled.

What about this whole scenario was funny? I'm standing here in the dark of the night getting chased by a bunch of wolves while he's standing completely naked in front of me.

(Not that I was looking) with blood oozing out of him.

Our short, sweet moment was cut when another group of howls sounded. Hunter without saying a word, or even having to need too, grabbed my hand an immediately began running with me once again.

The panic that was once in my chest returned as I realized what was happening.

We were being Hunted.

I turned around at the dead black wolf that lay on the ground but was no longer a wolf, but instead a girl. It wasn't a he that was attacking Hunter, it was a she. And this girl was lying down in the dirt, blood running from her neck and her eyes completely white and unblinking.

The state she was in had me chills, Hunter did this but a part of me immediately disagreed. Hunter had to do this, if he didn't, then it wouldn't be that girl lying there...it would be Hunter. And I, well I'd probably be killed by the rest of the wolves that were running around after us. Let's be honest...I had no idea what to do.

As if from some crazy movie, a huge flash of light appeared in front of us. And Hunter quickly positioned me behind him in a protective manner. Except what appeared wasn't a threat, instead it was my best friend who still looked flawless - apart from the small amount of blood that obviously wasn't her's on the side of her face.

"Em!" I practically shouted, running into her arms. Nothing made me happier knowing she was fine. But when you're being chased, shouting wasn't exactly the smartest thing I could've done.

Em wrapped her arms back around me, and I felt a sigh of relief as she realized that I was okay, she let out s small smile but yet I could still feel a glimpse of anger towards Hunter from her.

"Cecelia you need to shift." Hunters words were heard from behind me, I turned around to see him backed up against a tree, with his usual arms-crossed thing going on. Still totally naked.

I turned around to see Ems reaction to this and she seemed to agree.

"But I've only don't it three times!" I panicked, what if I couldn't do it again? I don't even know how I did it the first time. I looked over at Hunter and widened my eyes.

"Trust me you'll be fine, it's a full moon so it should be easier for you - you'll turn at one point tonight anyway."He smiled, talking softly and walking towards me. "You'll turn every full moon until you gain complete control."Hunter then took a single stand of black hair and removed it from my face.

"All you have to do is concentrate... Think about it, think about turning and running on all fours." He whispered, shutting my eyes for me.

For the first time in my life I was willing to admit it. "I'm scared."

With my eyes still closed, I felt a pair of lips on mine. Sparks igniting on them and I tried and tried to concentrate but was struggling to do so. You try and concentrate during a kiss...it really doesn't help.

I opened them once again, smiled at Hunter, and gently pushed him away.

I began walking ahead of them and stopped, my body was in control not me. I closed my eyes and listened to the sounds of the woods. The sounds of the birds, the sounds of the frogs, the small sounds that the animals created in the dead of night.

Bones began cracking and I wanted to scream out, but I wasn't giving in. Not just yet - I would stand up to the pain.

I kept myself focused on turning, it was all that mattered. If I was going to defend myself then I had too, they would just tear me up if I didn't, and being in a million, tiny little pieces wasn't a good look for me.

Suddenly it stopped, and the pain that was all over my body was gone. Everything was strange, I remembered the first night...but I remembered it as if it was in third-person. It was all so strange.

I turned around and saw Em and Hunter behind me, Em was smiling but Hunter was looking at me like I was the tastiest thing he'd ever seen. Literally.

A growl sounded behind them and a grey wolf jumped out of the dark to grab Hunter before he had even changed or noticed him. I didn't even have to think to know what to do, I ran towards it. On all fours.

I clashed with it immediately as it sunk it's teeth into one of my legs. I screamed out in pain, except it wasn't a scream - It was a whimper. Was this even a good idea?

Without controlling myself, I attacked the closest bit of flesh that I could, and bit down...hard.

And just like that the fight was over.

The wolf lay lifeless on the ground, part of its neck missing which I didn't even realize was missing until I spat it out of my mouth.

Three pissed looking wolfs came out of the same darkness - their mouths open with drool flowing out of it. They were shaggy-looking with fur that seemed to spike out in different directions. Almost as if they'd never seen a bath in their lives.

The biggest one in the middle, spoke one word with its smirk which I regretfully obeyed.

"Run."

Okay not my best chapter, but it was by far the hardest to write.

We will get another Hunters Pov next chapter as well as ALOT more drama.
