Ok I really love this chapter so I decided to publish it early, your welcome.

Human ~ Rag'n'Bone

"You're not doing it right Cece!" Em moaned at me, rolling her eyes before once again shouting "Concentrate!"

"I'm trying!" I shouted back, blocking a punch from her left first. "Well try harder!" She shouted back at me, getting annoyed at how cocky I was getting towards her. She had the same attitude as the majority of my teachers.

"I took down a little girl in the woods three weeks ago!" I laughed, attempting to kick her but failing miserably at it. "And it was by myself!"

She stopped, at looked at me as she scrunched up her eyebrows.

I went to punch her, but instead she literally just vanished.  I stood there, in the middle of the woods by the big Boulder, and was completely dumbfounded - and alone.

Em had disappeared, literally. Vanishing in a split second with a jolt of blue.

Out of the Knowhere, a pair of arms grabbed me from behind and flipped me in mid-air. Causing me to land really hard on my back and moan loudly at the impact that my body made with the ground.

Me and the ground were great friends now.

Em was staring down at me, a huge grin on her face. She was standing over me with her arms crossed, looking half-pleased, half-annoyed. She grabbed me by the arm and pulled me to my feet easily.

"You took down a little girl, and you didn't even take her down. You just scared her and chased her." Em laughed, "plus with your face naturally does that anyway." She smirks, laughing as she dodged a punch.

"Whereas moi was taking down seven rogues by myself, so excuse me for being slightly busy."

"H-how did yo-" I began.

"Vanish into mid-air?" She answered for me.

"Yeah.....that."

"Then put you on your *ss?" Em giggled at me like a little child. "Yeah, that too." I snickered, realising why she was my best friend.

"I never got down to explaining what I am did I?"

"Nope." I smiled, "we were ever so rudely interrupted before we got to that part." I added.

I was extremely interested in where this conversation was going. Watching Em disappear and reappear all over the place was strange and new for me, I was still getting used to it.

It was also kinda awesome. She's a bad*ass

My whole life I had known her, yet now.... I was seeing a completely different side to her, literally....she jumps to another dimension.

We both sat down over at the gigantic rock and took a breather. Sweat was running down the both of us like crazy, and we'd been out here for ages now and I honestly was craving food. Throwing punches and kicks, dodging them. The same thing over and over again for hours and yet I hadn't gotten bored, which was unusual since I had such a short attention span. All I could think about was Hunter.

"Okay... So that day you saw me for the first time....the real me." She began, making herself comfortable on the rock, somehow...after all it was a rock. "Well basically I changed forms."

Damn, we're about to get all paranormal now aren't we. Thank goodness I watched stranger things.

I scrunched up my face at her, and gave her the 'please explain because what da f' face.' She laughed at this, and proceeded to explain.

"There are two planes.... The dead and the alive."

She sighed, even she knew it was going to get complicated and my tiny mind had dealt with

a lot over the past month.

"Basically...I can jump between these two planes. So when I jump to the other plane, time is different there, I can't explain it. That's why it seems like I'm sorta teleporting. When really I'm not, I'm just travelling to the other plane, grabbing some stuff, coming back, then changing again."

"Uh okay, go on." I spoke loudly, confused but

extremely interested in what she was talking about. Me being stupid, I interrupted before I could continue.

"What are you?" I asked, Emmaline obviously wasn't human, her scent confirmed this for me. "And is the demogorgon coming for you?" I smiled.

"Basically in blunt words, I'm half-alive.....half dead." Well just when this month couldn't get any weirder. I feel like I'm on some sort of reality Tv show.

The kardahsians got nothing on me.

"Please explain?" I giggled, trying to take in all of the information she had just told me. "When I change planes, I'm changing form. No human can enter the other plane. It's all dead people, well basically." She stopped.

"It's my ghost-half that allows me to enter both sides. And it was my dead-half that I showed you the other day."

If she was half-ghost, what did that mean? Did she age?  "Emmaline, answer me honestly. I sighed, "How old are you"

She curled her lips up and mumbled something that I couldn't hear. Once again I asked her her age.

"Ugh...a thousand years?" She stressed. "Well, let's just say I knew a family friend of yours." She smiles, her eyes glistening as she looks back into her memories.

"What? Which one?" I urgently shout, excited at any news of my family. My real family....after-all everything I knew was a lie.

I loved my mother very much, she had raised me to be the person I am today and nothing could change that. But of course sometimes I wondered what it would've been like to be a princess. All little girl's had at one point.

"Cecelia..." She began, when she used my proper name I always knew it was going to be serious. "I was there when the first wolf turned. I was with Cecilinda that day." She smiled, almost proud of herself.

"Ho-how?" I practically shouted with excitement. My best friend was there, at possibly the most epic thing to happen in history. Apparently every wolf knew of Cecilinda and her prayer to the moon goddess.

"Cece, I was still human. I was there and I watched y- Cecilinda die in front of me." She stuttered, swallowing hard.

"My mortal body died so I became a ghost in the other dimension technically." Em told me, her arms crossed over her sports-bra. "Then how are you here?" I asked, confused at where she was going with the whole Ghost thing.

"She brought me back." Em sighed, crossing one leg in front of the other.

"Who?!" I stood up, my brain frazzled at this point.

"The moon goddess..."

I calmed myself down, and put my arms down at my side. "She's actually real?" I asked, amazed that the cliche werewolf books I'd read recently were actually right about something.

"She's the person that granted Cecilinda with the power to turn, she practically invented the race."

"But there's more." Em continued,

"Like what?" I questioned, sitting back down on the huge rock.

"I wouldn't be granted with being alive again, if it wasn't for something special." She added.

"Wait what! What's so special enough for a god to bring your human half alive again!" I shouted, my brain was frazzled.

"You are." She muttered, taking away all eye contact. "But I'm not allowed to know what, the moon goddess took my memory of that part.

She has that kind of control over me since...she kinda made me."

"I was the first of my kind, we were put here to protect you.....well your family....the royals." She sighs, "obviously I didn't do that good of a job since Cecilinda died anyway when she was 20."

"Sadly, the last of my kind died many years ago, protecting your grand-father. So technically, I am the last guardian in existence."

I sat quietly and let her finish, completely finish. She had already started, so I should've let her finish and I wasn't planning on asking too many more questions anytime soon.

"Cece....you have healing capabilities, this isn't normal for a werewolf. This comes from your mother, her side of the family was born with them. Only Pure royal blood can activate them through a line of werewolves."

"Both of your parents were Royal by blood, and so are you. That's why the group came after you, that's why I need to protect you." She spoke urgently. "They know your alive so you are in danger and more will come." She pleaded, grabbing onto my arm.

"Hunter is strong, and he can look after you.

But only when he's finished his training and you've finished yours." She smiled, taking the opportunity to show why it was important.

"Plus the full moons coming up which means I can train you in wolf form."

I nodded, as much as I wanted Hunter to be the one here flirting as much as possible while trying to teach me. Em was the better choice, after all....she did have a thousand years on all of us.

"The words out you're alive, so we need to keep you as safe as possible. You've no idea what a group of rogues could possibly Get from you, that's why they're after you." Em still continued, I'd never heard her speak more seriously in my entire life.

"How did Rose and Aidon know who I am?" I asked, suprised I'd never really got a proper answer. I guessed that explained why they were sorta dumbfounded the first time they met me.

They already knew who I was. I'm guessing Hunter knew I was important, just not as important as being an heir to the throne....

"I contacted someone on the inside, someone I trusted well, they contacted rose and Aidon so that you would have backup if you needed it." She laughed, her rosy cheeks lightening up her face.

"They moved here for you, but were kinda surprised when you turned up at their door unexpectedly." She raised her eyebrows with a smile.

It was then like a switch and she was acting like my normal best friend again, "Who they heck lowers their friends from their windows and goes over to a hot boys house?" She laughed, causing me to cringe. Then laugh even harder, the butterflies of even mentioned Hunters giving me chills.

"Come on." She suggested, "we better finish up its getting pretty dark now. Winter is coming...."

We both burst out laughing at her reference.

Both of us had completely regained our strength but still I smelled of sweat, I was going to enjoy a long hot shower tonight.

"One last thing though." Em stopped me, "maybe not mention the whole healing thing to Hunters family.....It's complicated."

I didn't say anything but nodded slightly, we walked back together exactly like we used to when things were normal. Everything was different, yes. But slowly it was becoming the new normal. I loved my life, and nothing could possibly change that.

When we reached my house I gave Em a long hug, mainly to disgust her with all of my sweat and before opening the door, I turned around to see a familiar face staring out of the first-floor window of the house directly across the street.

Hunter was staring at me intensely, and deep down I longed for him, it was if I could literally feel his restrain towards jumping out of the window and sweeping me off of my feet.

I swooned. Yes I am a clichè and I'll accept that.

We were a distraction for each other, and after everything that was going on, a problem between us was not what was needed. I slowly turned the door handle and vanished from his sight, the less he saw me, the less the temptation.

My mom was siting on the couch, quite happily watching the tv by herself. "Hey..." I smiled, jumping down next to her and cuddling in.

She was watching some painting tutorial and I sat quite comfortably beside her for a few minutes.

"Honey, you know I love you right?" She spoke, sounding quite upset as I hugged her tightly. "Of course mom, you always remind me." I smiled, and kissed her forehead.

She smiled at this,

"I'm sorry I'm not around very often anymore.." She sighed, wrapping her arms around me and closing her eyes for a second. "I'm just always working nowadays....."

I could never hate my mum, she was everything to me, real or not-real...but I wasn't looking forward to asking her how she ended up with me.

"Mom, I support everything you do 100,000%." I laughed at her as she pulled a funny face.

"I love you." I mumbled, cuddling into her again.

"What was that?" She laughed, as she began tickling me violently. My legs and arms were flying everywhere, I couldn't control which direction they were flying in and my mom knew it.

"S-stoppp .... I-it." I managed to get out, to busy screaming with laughter, until finally she stopped.

Both of us looked at each other and began laughing again, my long black hair was pretty much stuck to my face as the wet Tears clung to it.

"Ugh, you stink." My mom laughed, ordering me upstairs to get changed and showered. She was holding her nose and being overly-sarcastic, occasionally making faces of disgust which made me laugh.

I walked my way upstairs and walked into my large white bedroom, freezing in my tracks.

A familiar scent entered my nose as I looked around, out of the shadows stepped a beautiful creature. One I knew all too well, and could smell even if there was a million people in the room.

"Hunter..."

Dun dun dunnnnnn.
