Faded - Alan Walker
Prepare yourselves, this is pretty long compared to the others.
ââââââââââââââââ-
Here I was again, the exact same spot on the couch as when they told me I was a werewolf. The exact same Ill-feeling swirling around in my stomach as the faint smell of marshmallow's hit my nose.
Hunter had gone upstairs with his mum and Aidon sat opposite me - looking even more nervous than last time I was here. We were all in same room on the exact same spots, the atmosphere similar.
This time would be different, this time I could take whatever they needed to tell me without being over-frantic about it. After all, what could be more unbelievable than being a werewolf?
No more running, no more hiding, whatever Aidon had to tell me I would listen too, without running.  I looked up and locked eyes with Aidon - he looked nervous, hovering on what to say.
He was running his hands through his jet black hair and his eyes were wondering around the room, occasionally catching my own blue ones.
He keep beginning to talk, stuttering, before then going completely silent. The tension was thick, really thick - if the tension was a thing, it would have probably been my stomach, I'm kidding...
"Di- rem-" he staggered, then stopped.
Aidon stood up tall in front of me, his whole huge height of 6"6. He really was an attractive man, but deep down I knew my attraction was only there because of the similarities between him, and his gorgeous son.
"Do you remember the story I told you?" He asked, finally breaking the silence in the room.
"The one with the girl that became the first wolf?" I asked, not sure which one he was talking about as he had mentioned a few so far.
"Yes, that one. Plus all of her descendants, which are the royal family." He smiled,
"I may have left out a few major details."
*****
Many years before.
"Server! Where is the blanket!"
"Just coming my queen!" The servant shouted back to the Royal. Rummaging around in the large closet for something suitable.
She then ran to the beautiful woman before her and bowed, holding up the pink blanket to her as she hid her face in shame from taking too long.
"Thank you." The queen smiled, lifting the small werewolf girl onto her legs and letting her go make arrangements for their leaving.
"Alexandria?" A male voice called out, and a large male man with a crown appeared from around the corner. "Alton!" The queen shouted out, running into the arms of her mate. The King.
"My queen." He laughed spinning his mate around high in the air, and slowly bringing her down towards him, Kissing her slowly.
The King had been away on business for a month to meet the alpha of the Northern-Moon pack, the second in command in the kingdom. He had spent the last month arranging meeting with nearby packs and trying to regain order. The king had missed his Queen dearly for everyday he was away, he picked a red rose for his love.
These twenty-eight roses were all in the large bedroom that belonged to them. In a huge glass vase encased in gold which the alphas of the Northern-Moon pack had sent them the year before to celebrate the birth of his twins.
Alton wrapped his long arms around his queen and kissed her gently on the forehead .
Queen Alexandria then disappeared around the corner and brought over their most prized possession. A baby girl.
"Hey baby princess." The King smiled, smuggling his beloved child in his arms, while his mate stood beside him smiling. Her heart fluttering with warmth.
"She's missed you." Queen Alexandria spoke gently, her soft voice comforting her daughter. The baby before them giggled, and wrapped its tiny hand around her fathers fingertips. Smiling with not only her mouth, but her eyes. The big, blue, beautiful eyes whom she had gained from her mother.
Alexandria, whom had the longest auburn hair in the kingdom, looked down at her daughter in delight. She truly was a beauty, something she had inherited from her father.
The child was almost like a copy of her father, yet had her mothers feminine features and signature bright blue eyes.
Barely even a year old, the child had one of the most beautiful faces to Exist - her smile brightened her entire expression and brought happiness to all that looked at her.
Alexandria then left her mate with her child and walked around their large room to find a long suitable jacket to cover her large dress. Being royalty was fun...even she would admit It. But every girl had their limits when it came to clothing and being told what was suitable and what was not.
The long cream-coloured dress fitted exactly perfect, and covered from her neck down to her feet. Her long brown hair was the length of her dress and was curled the whole way down naturally before stopping at the back of her ankles.
A golden crown was placed on her head, with pleats around it, supporting it so it would not fall off. The queen grabbed her long coat and placed it over herself, careful not to ruin her newly curled hair which the servants took 4 hours to curl.
She walked back into the large room, and found her King sitting with their daughter in his arms. Shushing her lightly.
He was rocking his arms slightly, and the small girl in his arms shut her eyes slowly. He looked up at his mate with tears in his eyes.
"I have never loved anything more in my life." Alexandria chuckled to herself before responding snarkily,
"Not even your own wife?"
He smiled and thought of a witty comeback as soon as he could. "Well my child did come from you." He smirked, raising an eyebrow at her.
The baby then made a slight noise, and it's father shushed it lightly again.
He then stood up and wrapped it in the pink blanket the servant had previously gotten his wife.
"Shall we go?" He whispered to his mate, trying not to wake the child he had succeeded in getting to fall asleep. "Indeed we shall my King." She laughed, linking his arm in her's and walking towards the door.
******
"Do you know how long we will be away for?" Alexandria asked Her mate, worrying about leaving their home in the castle.
"Not long, I promise." Alton smiled, leaning over to kiss her on the forehead. He could see the worry on her face but he could also feel it within himself.
Both of them were sitting side by side in a private black car, with their daughter in front of them, still sleeping happily. "We still need to name her you know." The queen spoke with curiousness, wanting to know what name ideas her significant other was thinking off.
"Hmmm.... Let's see." He spoke over-confidently, having a very smug look on his face.
"How about Apple? You know....follow all the human-celebrity trends these days with their children's names." He half-joked, looking down at his little sleeping beauty with a smile.
"Seriously? Apple Darkfall?"
His mate raised an eyebrow at him, worried about his unusual sense of humour. For the King of all wolves..... He still acted like child, but then he was one of the youngest kings in his bloodline.
Maybe that's what love does to some people.
The car was silent, and both parents listened to their small child breathing slowly. As it raised its chest up, and slowly back down again in a state of restful-sleep.
Suddenly, an unknown force hit the side of the car, and it tumbled off of the road. Throwing both royals from side to side with no control.
As it suddenly came to a stop, the car was tipped completely upside down.
The diver was nowhere to be seen and a large trail of blood stopped just outside the car, where the conscious queen noticed the body of the young man that was driving them. The impact had killed him.
She picked up her child whom was protected by a barrier and tried to hush it's loud cries. Cuddling it tightly as as she rocked her baby side to side gently.
Alexandria pulled herself over to her mate and placed her free hand around his face. He was completely unconscious. The queen froze as multiple footsteps were heard surrounding the wreck that was left of the car. She struggled to think.
She couldn't change, she was too injured.
A huge gash was on her arm from where a piece of glass had entered, and she tried as best she could too not cry out in pain.
Her only chance was to run. For he daughters sake.
And that's exactly what she did.
She climbed out of the wreck and she sprinted like it was the last thing on earth she could do. And it was. Her long dress flying behind her gracefully.
The baby in her arms was now crying once again, and as she ran she tried to shush it lightly, not wanting to give themselves away to whoever was after them.
But then it didn't really matter since they could probably smell the blood leaking from her arm and leaving a nice, red trail on the ground. She k ew she didn't have much time left.
Giving up all hope, she found a small opening in a tree in which she placed her beloved child. The Queen wrapped the blanket around her little princess, and prayed that she would find herself a decent life in which she would be loved.
With a kiss to the check, the queen ran off with tears in her eyes. Refusing to look back.
The little girl in the tree stayed completely silent, and waited on her mother returning.
Unfortunately, she never did.
A body was found, but it was beyond so unrecognisable that it was truly unknown. The last person to ever see her was her beloved daughter.
No one knows what happened to the princess but she was never found, many thought that she was killed by an animal or found by whoever killed the queen and slaughtered.
The King however, completely lost his mind.
The only family he had, he had lost.
His beautiful wife and child were never seen or heard of again, and the county went into a panic as it's only heir had disappeared and they were stuck with a broken one.
For when a wolf loses his mate, he also loses his Will to live. And that's exactly what happened to him, he want into complete hiding and the government and the Northern-Moon took over instead.
*****
I didn't realise the tears that were running down my face until they hit my off of my cold hands. Yeah, he had mentioned the royals before but I had no idea that they had been through all of that.
No one should've had to experience any of that.
But then I realised, this had nothing to do with anything involving me. Aidon then had the same uncomfortable look on his face. You could tell he was thinking really hard about what to say to me next.
By this point, Rose had also joined us after tending to her son that was upstairs.
It was then her turn to speak since Aidon was really struggling to comprehend words. She cleared her throat loudly and continued on.
"Everyone believed the child dead, even though there was no proof of her surviving that night."
"Recently, rumours appeared that she instead was alive and well." Rose went on, twiddling her thumbs.
"I..I can confirm that these are true." She stuttered, loosing eye contact with me completely.
I didn't know what to say, but basically out there somewhere out there was a girl that was the princess of an entire world she probably didn't even know about.
I felt bad for her, I struggled dealing with the fact that I was a wolf, nevermind her having to deal with being both a wolf and a princess.
"Do you know who it is?"I asked, completely in curiosity. It felt like the moments in movies where a huge reveal would drop and everyone would go crazy at it - even though there was hints the entire time.
Aidon and Rose looked uneasy, and made looks between themselves as if to decide who was going to speak next. "Yeah....we know who it is."Aidon spoke this time.
"Who?" I laughed, getting excited. I should totally look this girl up and have a nice chat about how nice it was to be normal once upon a time ago.
"You." Rose answered, You.
The one word ran through my head what felt like a million times. "Cecelia Lake........You are the Princess of all wolves, and are in the direct line to the Royal throne."
"Excuse me what!" A voice from the stairs appeared. It seemed that Hunter had clearly been sitting there for a decent amount of time and had made himself comfortable. He was staring at me, literally with his jaw-dropped.
He then got off of the stairs and sat right next to me on the couch. So close that our legs were literally touching. His expression hadn't changed and it seemed like his strange accent got ten times stronger. It was kinda sexy.
"Did you not think to you know, tell me!" Hunter shouted at his parents, possibly more shocked then I was which seemed impossible at this point.
The whole part of listening to everything and accepting it? Yeah, nope.
"I'm your son! I should've known this!" Hunter continued, running his hands through his hair and then placing his head in his hands. I sat in silence.
Aidon sighed, "I'm sorry son..."
While everyone seemed to be having their own conversation, I literally felt like I was going to be sick. My head hurt, like a lot.
Cheese on ice cream.
All I could do was stare blankly ahead of me, if I moved I was gonna be sick. It was like motion sickness times by a million.
"Cece?" Hunters voice beside ran through my ringing ears.
Everything was dizzy, moving around so quickly. I couldn't focus on a thing in front of me. Did they own a plant?
I stood up to see if that would help, but all it did was make everything go black. The last thing I felt, was myself falling into a strong pair of muscular arms.
Hunters....or maybe Aidon's. Both are 100% muscle so I'd be happy with either.
I woke up in the same black room which I was in before. Taking in my surrounding again with a smile on my face. His room.
I looked over and found Hunter asleep in the chair beside me, he was sitting up straight but his head was leaning on one arm.
He looked adorable. Did he carry me up?
He mumbled to himself then sat up straight, looking at me with his large blue eyes. He smiled, and my heart seemed to melt into chocolate.
"My parents seemed to make an arrangement on what's happening, your highness." He giggled with his cocky little laugh.
I moaned in frustration, remembering what we were talking about earlier . I'd completely forgot about that entire conversation. How did I forget that entire conversation! I enjoy sleeping too much for my own good....
"My parents have decided that you need training. In case anyone every goes after you again since the words out that you're not dead, basically." He spoke, not making much sense.
He sighed again, "my parents aren't letting us train together. You will be with Em and I will be with my Father." He grumbled like a little boy who had lost his favourite toy.
The fact that I couldn't be near him hurt, emotionally and physically.
" I wanted to be the one to protect you at all costs....." He spoke to himself quietly, not realising he had spoken out-loud. "It was supposed to be me... If anyone were to ever hurt you again it would be me, they would need to deal with. Me." He spoke possessively to himself.
He was clearly thinking hard and I laughed at something he had thought of, which lightened the mood up. He smiled at me and flashed his perfect teeth. This dude was crazy.
"Also..." He smiled, jumping next to me on the bed and making himself comfortable. Lying flat out, and putting his hands behind his head, causing me to make a rude face at him. Well....it is his bed.
"You're now banned from going to school, we think someone's been spying on you."
Hey guys, thanks for reading.
This chapter did take a bit to get into I'm sorry, but hey I tried 3rd PoV for the first time and it wasn't terrible.
What did you think of this chapter? And was the length okay to keep you guys happy until I edit the next part?
I can probably add another 500 words on in future chapters but only if you want me too.
(And something big must be happening, I can't write like 3000 words with like one conversation. It gets boring for both me and you guys)
As always I love my main gals that comment.
See you guys soon I love you all so much
