"Instead of putting others in their place, put yourself in their place."

Dirt was everywhere.  My hair, my mouth, it was all over me.

I sat up quickly and tried to focus on my surroundings as best I could. I was still in the woods, and as my hearing adjusted Em was still shouting, I wasn't far enough away from her. I wasn't safe, and neither was Hunter.

I put my hand to my head, which hurt immensely. As soon as my hand made contact with my head, the first thing it touched was a thick gooey substance which I didn't realize was running down my face.

Blood, and lots of it.

The less I thought about the pain, the less it hurt. And I slowly pulled myself up off of the ground with a heavy heart. As all pain from my head had vanished, I didn't give it a second thought and began to focus again.

The huge rock, which I had hit my head on had a small amount of blood on it which was dark, strangely dark. I used it to support myself as I balanced my weight around. Focusing ahead on a single tree that was in front of me.

I felt like I had been on a really bad ride, something that went upside down about a million times then stopped immediately - causing your stomach and lungs to rearrange inside you.

A switch in my head snapped, and I realised I needed to run. Slowly, I began to move and then it was if my legs worked perfectly again as I took off.

I was running, as fast as I could.

I could still hear Em struggling behind me, shouting out unpronounceable words. Still I ran, the tone of Em screaming for me to run, still giving me chills.

My legs were on fire, they couldn't support me and again I fell, not badly but onto my knees. A very terrifying howl was let out from where Em was, I couldn't recognise it.

I could then hear the rumble of the ground beneath me as something large was coming in my direction. Something powerful, and something that wanted me.

I once again forced myself onto my feet and continued running, this time even faster that I ever had. I only got a glimpse of brown as I stared behind me, whatever it was it was gaining on me - quickly.

Once again I turned around and looked into the dark eyes of an aggressive looking, huge, brown wolf that was ready to take me down.

With its teeth, it snarled at me, knowing it was all a game as it was taking the fun in catching its prey, me.  Unexpectedly it pounced at me, completely knocking itself off its feet, but also me.

I rolled around in the mud trying to regain my balance while it got up beside me. Obviously not knowing its own power.

Stopping in the mud, I stared at it. And it stared right back, growling loudly to show its power over me. It almost looked excited at the thought of tearing me apart, as it it had been waiting a long time for the chance.

Without any control, I suddenly felt a sense of aggression come over me. And I looked down at the nails that began to grow from what used to be my hands.

Guess the pedicures ruined.

Hair grew all over, and soon I was on all fours. The brown wolf was big, but I was bigger. I was towering over it, and gave It the same growling look right back. Now, it was my turn to hunt my prey.

I howled loudly and powerfully, for the first ever time. And the oh-so-scary-wolf in front of me. Backed up.

Run. My eyes spoke to it, waiting for it to take off.

Without any thought, the wolf began running as quick as it possibly could, and with that my animal instincts kicked in and I ran after it.

It was running at its top speed, and I caught up with it, not even trying. It was terrified of me, I could feel its heartbeat as It cowered in my presence.

The wolf then stopped, and bowed its head as low as it could, almost as I had authority over it.

I laughed, maybe I had hit my head harder than I thought, what was happening?

Slowly it turned back into its human form, and in front of me stood a small girl, maybe only 13. A She was cowering as she lay naked in the dirt. Shaking from fear - or maybe just the cold. Something didn't feel right, I knew deep down there was more to this little girl than met the eye.

"Forgive me your highness." Was all she spoke.

She began sobbing heavily, letting the tears flow from her eyes. All I could feel was pity for her. Maybe she had lost control like I had on my first night. But this girl was too young, so her turning seemed impossible. Something wasn't right.

I left the young girl lying there. Not wanting to inflict any pain on her and ran on all fours back to where Em was.

Beside her were three unconscious wolves, still in their wolf form and she was her in 'natural' form. Her blue eyes shining brightly but filled with violence and anger

She lowered herself down from the air she was levitating from and when her feet touched the ground she instantly became her usual self again, flashing me a freaky smile.

If I was right, Em had just taken down three wolves by herself. Herself.

"Where is Hunter?" I asked, trying to hide that I was really panicked about his health. Em stares at me for a quick second before turning around as I was naked - I felt as though she knew something I didn't, so as usual, I asked her.

"Cece, you shouldn't have been able to turn...." she breathes, "it's usually only around a year or so that a wolf can control when they change, it comes as they get used to turning and become more mature." She almost whispers before pushing all thoughts aside

Em laughed at my worry and pointed over my shoulder behind me. Hunter was lying on the ground, completely unconscious and fully clothed like normal.

"He passed out as soon as he saw blood." She laughed heavily, sighing and shaking her head. I had to admit. The sound of that sentence did make me laugh.

The 'star' wolf of his family was scared of blood, and physically collapsed at the sight of it. This would be an entertaining subject for later on.

Going behind a large rock, I quickly became human again. Breathing heavily after all I had encountered it all hung heavy on my chest as I worried I had pushed myself too far.

I had changed, ran, caught a wolf, and changed back and remembered every second of it. This was a break-through for me.

Em then some-what teleported in a flash of blue light and appeared back instantly with a pile of clothes in her hand.

I just stared at her and took them from the other side of the rock which she had them placed them. Quickly, I changed into them and appeared from behind it as the rain began to calm down.

I looked over at Hunter and knelt beside his unconscious body. He had a small cut on the side of his face which I couldn't help but trace with my hands, his whole body felt completely magnetic to mine.

The cut reminded me of my own, and as I placed my hand to my forehead I couldn't help but notice that it had healed quickly.

After I had touched his head, it was like the cut had just disappeared. A small drop of blood was still around the cut, but the strange thing was that there was no cut there.

"How we gonna get him back?" Em asked,

But I wasn't really paying attention. I was too busy analysing my hands for some weird mystical powers coming out of them or something, there was defiantly a cut on his head. Maybe it was werewolf related?

"Hmm?" I mumbled, looking over at her, she rolled her eyes at me and sighed. "Stop making googley-eyes at loverboy!" She laughed, pulling me onto my feet away from him.

"We need to get him home." She pointed . It was true - the sun had set and it was getting dark.

"How are we planning on moving a 18 year old werewolf that is literally 99% muscle." I asked, laughing at her logic. She stood for a moment and thought. Her very concentrated-Em face showing.

She sighed and looked at me, "can we try to wake him?" Em asked while taking a few steps closer. I almost snapped at her for being anywhere near him, especially while his t-shirt was completely soaked.

"No idea" I admitted throwing my hands up and running my hands through my dark hair.

I leant down beside him again and placed both hands on his face. It was like I wasn't even thinking about it, I'd just done it - I didn't need to think.

I could feel my hands heating up, and I felt as through energy was running through my hands and into Hunter. Escaping my veins in flashes of red and flowing directly into his body.

He woke quickly, and immediately shot up.

"Wha-wha- who do I have to kill!" He shouted, looking around quickly.

I laughed at him, for someone who acted big and tough, he sure was soft inside. He was scared of blood after all, and here he was ready to 'kill' someone.

"We need to get you home." I giggled, helping him stand up and putting his around me.

He was still pretty out of it, but he was conscious which meant we could at least walk him home.

"Care to explain what happened?" He moaned.

*****

"Really? You ran my doorbell?" Hunter laughed at me," I live here."

"I was being polite." I answered back, rolling my eyes at him at his way of life. His father then opened the door and immediately grabbed his son from me. Not that I was complaining, but he weighed a ton.

Aidon brought him in and placed him on the couch allowing him to support himself against the back of it. Rose invited us in, and began asking about a million questions, she then shut herself up and peacefully told us to explain everything in detail.

I began from the moment everything went down.

From Em getting grabbed to me being chased by a child. Even the moment in my head where I got called 'your highness.'

Rose sat carefully and didn't speak a word. Worry in her eyes as her pupils dilated and her breathing increased as I spoke about certain aspects

After I had finished everything she sat in awe.

At this point, Hunter had pretty much fallen asleep for some reason and was peacefully lying with his head on a fluffy cushion. Regaining his energy.

Aidon came over and sat next to his wife. It was almost like they were speaking telepathically to each other. Or they knew certain things from little movements.

"Cece." They began.

"We didn't tell you absolutely everything."
