Nothing. I felt nothing.

No pain. No weird twisting and breaking of limbs. No mysterious boys taking me out to the woods while I was wearing dress that was a tiny bit shorter than my mom would approve of.

No screaming girls or boys, dancing to music while trying to flirt. No drunk people and no sober either to gossip about me.

The feeling I had was the strangest on the planet, like when you just woke up from a dream, not knowing if your in the real world or just stuck in your own head.

I felt like I was dreaming, but yet it felt like the real world. Everything looked weird, smelled weird and felt weird in every single way.

It made zero sense. Everything was different.

Everything around me was dark, that I could tell. But yet I could see perfectly. I was in the woods and it was definitely night, but I could see everything as clear as day. It was peaceful, and it was beautiful.

I get up slowly from the exact same place Hunter had placed me on the cold ground.

I look around and began to panic when I realise that he's not here with me. What did he mean?

For some reason I was warm, and I felt all cozy, fluffy and smug. How could that have been possible as it was the middle of the night and almost winter.

I was alone. And I wanted to change that as soon as I could.

I get up and stumbled forward, as I get used to my legs once again. Almost like I had to teach myself how to walk, nothing felt the way it usually did.

Walking felt weird, it was different yet I couldn't tell what was different about it, something was definitely going on but it couldn't figure out what it was.

Everything about this was really weird. But at the same time felt familiar.

Suddenly, Em shouts out. But she wasn't shouting for me, she was shouting for him.

Hunter.

Where was he? After all it was him that brought me out into the woods, the scariest part about the entire town.Well, it was what scared me the most.

Being here now felt comforting.

"Em?!" I scream out, now terrified of being on my own. Yet when I spoke, I wasn't speaking.

"Em where are you!" I scream running in the direction of where I could hear her feminine voice.

"Em!" I began screaming, "help me!"

I'd never ran so fast in my life, it was all like a blur as I jumped over large branches easily.

I continue screaming for Em, but didn't get a response. It was like she'd just disappeared into thin air altogether. One second she was shouting from one direction, the next another.

"Em!" I shout again, stopping and standing at the bottom of a large hill, lying down to catch my breath.

Without control, I started crying. Small sobs which quickly turned into huge cries which hurt my chest. It wasn't cries...it sounded more like painful howls.

I lay there, in the dirt and soil surrounded by trees and stared up at the moon. The large beautiful moon which had lit up the entire forest in a mysterious way. It was smiling at me, whispering to me as I fell for its charm.

The snap of a branch catches my attention, and I run towards it and stop when a deer stares back at me, nostrils flaring as it freezes. Next, my vision goes red.

Again I turn to the moon, second by second, it got larger, getting closer and closer to me.I got a great view of it until my entire eyesight was a bright white.

I couldn't see anything else.

And slowly around me, the ground became cold and wet once again. The last thing I remembered, was the feeling of being lifted. Whoever it was, they smelt amazing.

I could tell it was the same strong arms that had once carried me before, the way I easily fitted into them proved that. And without much thought I gave up, my strength was gone and the power inside me had vanished. It was all too much.

*****

Warmth, something that felt weird since I was on the ground.

My eyes shoot open.

I wasn't on the ground, I wasn't in the dark, mysterious woods. I wasn't eaten by wolves. or maybe I was? Was I dead?

The whole thing was a dream, it must have been. Although, when I really took a good look at where I was, I became even more stuck.

This room wasn't mine. This house couldn't have been mine.

This bed wasn't mine, but it smelt absolutely amazing...the exact same smell as before that was in the Darkfall woods.

Panic settled in as I started creating in my head the worst possible scenario I could be in.

Maybe I was kidnapped? What if I was raped?

Would they kill me?

I rush out of the black bedsheets that were extremely soft, and made my way towards the one window that was in the room. It had long, black curtains that drapped to the floor and was the only source of light in the room. from the intensity and brightness I had assumed it was daytime, or at least morning.

The view I witnessed shocked me.

Exactly across the road from me was an extremely familiar sight. One I had known all too well and had lived in my entire life.

It was my house.

Directly across the street was my house. Which meant..... I was in the Irons family house. Hunters House.

Confused, I begin looking around for any signs that I wasn't in his room. Praying that I wasn't as I'd have to deal with the embarrassment of sleeping in his room...in his bed. The room was decorated vaguely and simply in black. Everything was black, it was almost the complete opposite of my room which was vibrant with colour and life, you could literally breathe the happiness off of my walls whereas his screamed depression and isolation.

In the corner of the room sat the canvases and easel from which he used to paint,

Hunter and I were complete opposites.

But opposites attract, a voice in the back of my head spoke quietly. "No.." I say loudly, not realising or meaning it in anyway. Hunter was an asshole with an attitude, and a black hoodie to complete the bad boy look he had.

He was the reason my boyfriend broke up with me last night.

I sigh to myself, it then appealed to me that I could barely remember a thing that happened during the night. Again, my brain decided it was time to panic again.

The last thing I could remember was feeling terribly ill after Hunter turned up to my birthday party at Amy's. Then after that it was all flashes and blurs between reality and hallucination.

It all felt so long ago now.

Coming to a small mirror I notice that I wasn't wearing my white dress anymore. Instead it was replaced by a oversized pair of black Pyjama trousers and a small white top. I could guess by the length of the pyjama trousers that I knew exactly who they belonged too. They smelt like him, but how did I know what he smelt like?

Any other time I would've thought I'd look cute. But the sight of me, wearing something of his, made me want to punch a wall. At the end of the day he was still an ass who'd ruined a pretty happy relationship, offended me and punched my boyfriend in the face.

Finally, I build up my courage and find my way to the stairs, I'd never seen the upstairs of the house. It was as beautiful upstairs as it was downstairs with many paintings covering its walls.

Descending the staircase, voices come into contact with my ears. It was Rose and Aidon, both were talking about me which sent shivers up my spine. I was really here... In Hunters house.

Looking for a well-deserved explanation, I make my way into the living-room where both of his parents were sitting. Rose immediately shuts up when she sees me, and watches as I walk down the final stairs into the living room. An unknowing expression on her face.

As is he planned it perfectly, Hunter appears from around the corner with what I guess is a cup of tea or coffee, his usual smug look on his face.

He was wearing a grey top and tight grey joggings which rested below his hips. His hair was spread over his head with a few stands falling over his blue eyes.

He looks me up and down with his oversized clothing on and lightly chuckles to himself.

"Cute." He mumbles as his eyes hit the floor.

I look over at his parents, only feeling hatred from looking at their son. He angered me at the sight of his face, I honestly didn't even know why. Everything was heightened, including my attraction for him.

"You're awake..." Hunters mom speaks lightly.

"I guess I am," I reply back sharply, narrowing my eyes as I searched for an explanation.

Much will be revealed next chapter....
