Chapter 32 Something Is Fishy With The Two Charlie sensed trouble upon seeing how Xavier’s complexion rapidly darken.

“What did they say?”

“The best solution would be to have Auri apologize,” Xavier said with a grave expression. “The PR team hired by the Leedon family is quite famous in Jacaster. They have the ability to turn white into black, and no matter what the truth is, they can tamish Auri’s reputation surely.”

Charlie knew that what Xavier said was the truth. Although he was at the bottom of the entertainment industry, he was well aware of how deep the waters of the industry ran. “Old Elijah has plenty of treasures, so don’t be shy when the time comes. Just tell Grandma what you like, and I’ll have him give it to you.” Mabel said to Aurelia.

It was evident that the two elders had known each other for a long time. They were the kind of old friends who could converse freely with each other.

Aurelia looked at them, her smile radiant as she nodded. “Thank you, Old Mr. Quill.”

“You don’t need to be formal with him. Well, he used to adore good old Hannah and always hung out around her. Mabel felt that she might be getting old, as she found herself fond of reminiscing about the past The events that occurred in her youth, felt as though they happened just yesterday.

When Matthew entered the ward, what he saw were two people who couldn’t contain their smiles.

Inside the ward, a warm and comforting ambiance filled the air.

Matthew’s gaze lingered for a moment on Aurelia’s charming face which was adorned with a smile. Then, he turned to look at Mabel. “Grandma.”

Mabel’s fondness for Aurelia was as great as her disdain for her own grandson.

Auri was indeed endearing, her delicate and gentle demeanor simply invited affection. One couldn’t help but to treat Auri well wholeheartedly She looked at her grandson, and noticed that as he grew, his personalities became more crooked. His handsome face rarely adorned a smile. Feeling the clear disdain directed at him, Matthew remained unfazed as he was accustomed to such treatment.

“Auri has been chatting with me and Elijah for quite a while, she must be thirsty by now. Just peel an apple for Auri Mabel said to Matthew.

“Grandma, I just had some water and I’m not thirsty. I can’t eat an apple right now, but when I feel like eating. I’ll peel it myself,”
