Chapter 19: The First World (19) [Part 1]

Chu Wei regretted her action of pulling Ji Mo to an amusement park. Almost every time they took a ride, Ji Mo’s second personality would appear all of a sudden and would create plans on using the rides to murder the bad guys.

The other party’s various murder plans caused her hair to stand on end. She had a guess that this second personality was the dark side developed from Ji Mo’s anxiety and frighten emotions.

Now she was really afraid that Ji Mo would have thoughts of returning back here with tools in the dead of night to unscrew the rides located here.

After all, Ji Mo spoke of her plan about applying here as a part-time job worker and when she had the free time, she would unscrew the rides.

Luckily, under her earnest persuasion, Ji Mo’s second personality finally let go of that idea.

Chu Wei discovered that as long as the method she used was correct, the second personality was willing to follow her. At least for now, she had given up and ceased looking at the rides in a different light.

Although the second personality wished to kill bad people, there was still a goodwill left in her heart, causing her to avoid harming innocent people.

Chu Wei heaved a sigh of relief, looking like she had just finished doing something remarkable.

“Dr. Chu, let’s go to another place with a few people next time.” While they were returning, Ji Mo’s soft voice rang. Chu Wei was so shocked that she almost stopped on the brakes. What did she want to do with a place with so few people?

What’s the point of going in a places with few people?

Is she planning to go there and fool those sick men to kill them?

“If you really want to go to some places that do not have much people, just ask those people who do hiking, they would say it’s dangerous and not at all good scenic places. When the time comes, it will be not fun at all.”

“How about we go to a no-man’s land, Dr. Chu? I heard that there are a lot of man-eating animals in no-man’s-land, and when people die there, none care about it.”

Chu Wei asked, “Xiao Ji, are you hungry?” She decided to change the topic, “Where do you want to go to eat?”

“Dr. Chu, I’m not hungry. You know I still want to lose weight and maintain my skinny appearance. You can’t always let me eat food, otherwise my body will get fat.”

Chu Wei thought: Xiao Ji didn’t care about gaining weight. The only thing that makes her scared is when there is nothing to eat, and she will not refuse any food from anyone. Sure enough, Xiao Ji is still cuter than the second personality. This second personality is very evil, and the words from her mouth make people feel cold.

Ji Mo felt the same feeling as Chu Wei.

She thought of the merciless method of people plotting against others and felt uncomfortable. Despite the fact that she knew how it feels at the end of the world and had seen countless people fighting each other to death using vicious ways, she can’t still make herself kill and rob other people like they do.

Perhaps she was similar to an ant in the last days, so she doesn’t like that kind of feeling.

Ji Mo yawned, “Doctor Chu, I’m a little sleepy.”

“Close your eyes and sleep for a while.” Chu Wei was now at ease. She hope that by the time she woke up, it would now be the original Xiao Ji. As for the news about women being murdered, she made up her mind to make Xiao Ji watch less, so as to not trigger the second personality.

Regarding Xiao Ji’s second personality, she still intended to have a talk with the other party.

The moment the car stepped inside the community, Ji Mo woke up and saw herself in the car. She asked with a strange face, “Dr. Chu, aren’t we eating? How come I appeared here all of a sudden? I haven’t eaten enough yet, I’m so hungry.” Ji Mo put her hand on her stomach, looking like she was hungry.

“Then go and eat more. It just so happens that I also want to confirm my doubts.”

Ji Mo’s mind spun quickly. It looked like Chu Wei would begin the so-called serious conversation with her. She guess that when the time comes, she would agree to the treatment by then. Anyway, it was fine for her. This ‘disease’ could only be treated if she wants.

Chu Wei took Ji Mo to another seafood restaurant, and it seemed that Ji Mo quite like eating there. Fixing her eyes on Ji Mo who was eating bluntly and not being a picky eater at all, Chu Wei’s mood turned pleasant. Sure enough, she was now that cute Xiao Ji.

However, she said, “Xiao Ji, I want to tell you a truth.”

With Ji Mo’s confused face, Chu Wei spilled everything without hiding anything. “After my observation, when seeing similar things, your second personality will take control of your body. Today is the third time she appeared. With the exception of the first time, you had no recollection of what happened in the other two times. I was thinking that perhaps the second personality purposely didn’t let you know about it.”

“You don’t have to be afraid, I will stay by your side and won’t let you do something bad.” When she saw Ji Mo’s panicked appearance, Chu Wei had the urge to protect Xiao Ji. She felt that she must protect her, and stop her second personality from doing bad things.

“At present, there is no effective treatment for this, but I have found the root of your illness. In the future, you should watch less news about the kind of social murder case, lest it trigger your second personality to appear.”

Ji Mo hastily nodded her head, “Okay, starting today, I won’t watch those anymore. I won’t watch any shows or news that have bloody and violent content, I’ll only watch good ones.”

“Right, I also had the plan of customizing some trackers for you. It is to stop the second personality from secretly leaving to commit bad things. If you had the tracker on, I could stop it from happening on time.”

Ji Mo was very cooperative, “Dr. Chu, just do it. Don’t tell me the location of the tracker. It will be a pity if the second personality know of it.”
