Chapter 16: Chapter 15

He swiped at me and I easily Dodged it. One thing you need to know is that my father is weak. I know he leaves marks on us and makes scars, but that’s because he hides behind silver.

While my father was out at the Pub, I asked Alpha Kayden if we could train with them and he said we could.

Anyway, my dad lunged for me and this time I was not so lucky. He bit me in the shoulder and I howled in pain.

I bit his leg than he growled and bit harder into my shoulder.

I whimpered and threw him off me. I growled at him and jumped for him but he clawed at my stomach and I fell to the ground.

He shifted and started laughing. He kneeled down in front of me and smiled evilly.

“Poor, poor Bliss. You actually thought you could kill me? You are weak, pathetic,” he spat in my face. I whimper. “Your mother would be so disappoint-” I cut him off when I shot my head up and grabbed him by the throat.

I bit down with the last strength I had and waited till his body went limp.

I fell back to the ground and shifted back. I blocked out the world and closed my eyes but faintly heard someone yell my name than total darkness.

Xavier’s POV

Caleb and I walk into the kitchen and he turned to me. I raised an eyebrow at him.

“What are we going to do about Bliss? I mean, her dad beats her and her family, dude. what will we do?” He asked. I sighed and closed my eyes. I ran a hand through my hair and shook my head.

“I don’t know,” I sighed again. We heard crying coming from the living and walked back in. I looked around for Bliss but couldn’t find her or her father.

“I tried to stop her Xavier. She didn’t listen though,” Blake cried. “You have to save her. She went outside,” He said. I nodded and ran outside. They weren’t in front of the house so I followed her scent to the woods and started running.

5 minutes of running, I smelt Bliss’s scent and blood. I pushed myself to go faster. I can’t lose her, not now, not ever. I got to a clearing and saw blood everywhere.

I saw Bliss’s dads body died and what I saw beside him made my heart stop, there...... was Bliss laying on the ground in a puddle of her own blood.

“BLISS!!!!!” I yelled and ran to her. I picked her up and looked at her face. Her eyes were closed and face pale. I panicked and started running at inhuman speed to the pack hospital.

5 minutes later, I arrived and the pack doctor took her to the emergency room. I sat down in the in the waiting room and put my head in my hands. Tears came to my eyes but I pushed them away.

‘Bring Bliss’s family to the pack hospital,’ I said and quickly cut the connection so she wouldn’t here my voice crack.

10 minutes later, her siblings ran into the waiting room. They looked around the room until they saw me and ran up to me. They threw questions at me all at one time, not letting my answer them. I held up my hand and they all shut-up. Thank goodness.

“She is in surgery right now. I couldn’t get to her fast enough so she got hurt really bad. When I got there, I saw your dad by her, dead. She was pale and her eyes her closed so I panicked and ran here as fast as I could,” I said and looked down at the floor.

“Is she okay?” Blake asked. I looked up at him and he had tears in his eyes. Tears came to me and I shrugged.

“Don’t know. They took her in 10 minutes ago and I haven’t heard from them since,” I said. Blake started pacing back and forth while his siblings cried.

We waited 20 more minutes until the doctor came out and I jumped up with everyone else.

“Is she going to be okay?” I asked in a hurry.

“Yes she will be fine,” he said. “She is very lucky you were there when you were or she would’ve died from how much blood she lost. Her room number is 57,“he said and I breathed a sigh of relief.

“Thanks doc,” I said and he looked. I started walking to her room with everyone following me.

We got to her room and I walked in first. What I saw was horrible. Bliss was there with bandages on her arms, legs and head.

I walked over to her side and pulled up a chair. I sat down and grabbed her hand gently. I kissed it as a salty tear ran down my cheek.

Her siblings walked in and sat down across from me.

“Please get better Bliss,” Blaire said to her.

“Yeah Bliss. We need you,” Ash said and his other siblings nodded.

“We need your cheery self,” Jonah said.

“Your creative self,” said Liliana.

“Your grumpy self,” Cadence said.

“Your sweet self,” said Katalina.

“And your cute self,” Blake finished.

I smiled at them and then looked at Bliss.

“Yeah, Bliss. Wake up, please, I need you.” I said as another tear feel down my cheek. Please wake up soon Bliss.
