Quick question,

Who's your star crush?

"Peace comes from within. Do not seek it without."- Muhammad Ali.

Third Person's POV

She was asleep when the sound of the phone ringing kept disturbing her peace. She groans for the umpteenth time and tries to waver away the disturbance by studying the pillow on her ear. Gladly the noise dies off and she is about to go back to her peaceful slumber when it suddenly starts again.

Ugh!! Who the heck is disturbing me this fine early morning? Oh! I'm so going to deal with this person.

She detaches the pillow from her ear and gradually pries her eyes open, squinting it in the dark room whose only source of light is her phone's screen. She lets out one final groan before picking up her phone and taking a glance at it. Lucas' name was boldly flashing on it.

He better have something better to say or else I'm so going to freaking skin him. No one messes with my sleep. I repeat, No one!!! Who wakes someone up this early on a Saturday morning, huh?!!

"What?!!", was the first thing she uttered when she answered his call.

There was a light chuckle on the other end and immediately she heard his voice, her anger dissipated, "Good morning to you too, princess."

She sighs, "Why are you calling me at such an ungodly hour? Why? Oh, why?"

"Come outside." That was all he said.

"What do you mean by that? First of all, you wake me up from my beautiful sleep, I ask you why and all you say is, come outside." She mimics his tone.

"I'm sorry for waking you up but please come outside."

"And why would I?" She frowns and then it dawns on her, "Are you by any means perhaps in front of my house?"

"Why don't you come outside so you can find out?"

"As much as I'd love to, my bed is more alluring." She pats her bed.

"Please."

"You owe me."

"No problem. So are you coming?"

"Kinda."

"Waiting." He says before hanging up.

She gets out of bed and rushes out to meet him. The cold air hits her skin as she walks towards him, who is leaning against his car, a smile forming on his lips at the sight of her.

"What's going on?" She halts in front of him and places her hands on her hips in a demanding manner. Instead of replying as she expected, he rather moved even closer to her until they were a breath away from each other. His lips brush her forehead ever so lightly and it lingers, the act breaking down her walls. Her hand falls to her side, her body tingling from his touch. His arms take advantage of the opportunity given by going to her sides and bringing her closer for a hug. She itched to hug and although she didn't want to give in to how she felt at the moment, she found herself hugging him back. With her head on his chest, she could hear the way his heart was thumping loudly in his chest.

"How was your sleep?" He mutters not pulling away, voice strained from all the emotions he was feeling having her pressed against him.

She lets out a snort, "Short."

He chuckles, "Am I the reason?"

"Yes, you are." And then she pulls away, arm still around him, and stares at him, a pout on her lips.

He pinches her cheeks, "I'm not sorry."

"Oh really?" She raises a brow at him.

"Yeah, I have something I want to show you." He detaches her hands and holds them in his, staring deep into her eyes, "Do you trust me?"

She takes a second or two before answering, "Yeah!"

"You do realize you're in your nightwear, right?" He tries so hard not to look down at her body and exposed legs. They'd be his undoing if he dared to look, he might lose all the self-control he's kept in check.

Her eyes immediately head down to her body and she lets out a gasp in alert as she lets go of his hand.

"It's all your fault," She accuses, shooting him a glare.

He scratches his neck, his head up high, not wanting to give in to the temptation of looking down, "I'm sorry, I have a sweatshirt and sweatpants in the backseat, you can change into them."

She nods before opening the back door and entering.

"Turn around." She says before rolling the window glass up.

He turns around and she quickly changes into the clothes. When done, she comes out. At the sound of the car door opening, he turns around.

He smiles as he studies her, "You still look cute despite how baggy these clothes look on you. I still like you anyway."

She just chuckles, red tainting her cheek.

He opens the front door for her, "Hop in."

"Okay? So now I'm curious." She says when he joins her in the car. "Where are we going?"

"It's a surprise."

"Right!" she makes a straight face.

Definitely he wouldn't tell her!

He smiles, "Smile, you'll know when we get there."

Cam's POV

"Wake up sleepy head." I feel someone shake my shoulders and I stir up. I peel my eyes open to find Lucas staring at me.

Shit! I fell asleep.

I hit my head in shame. "I can't believe I fell asleep. This is so embarrassing."

He pats my hair, "It's cute if you ask me."

"Oh puh-lease." I roll my eyes.

He shoots me a look before saying, "We're here."

"Really?" I let out a squeal, "Yay!"

"Wait for me." He gets out and rounds the car, opening the door for me. He puts out his hand and I take it, climbing out of the car.

"Thanks," I mutter.

"Welcome."

I take a look at my surroundings, the sound of water rippling waves hitting my earbuds at once.

"The beach?" I jump in excitement. "Oh my Gosh!"

I hug him swiftly, "You're the best."

This guy is just too much, he's actually taking my words seriously. He's a sucker for romance, isn't he? I guess this is another date, well I'm enjoying it, every single bit of it.

"I knew you'd love it."

He opens the car boot and picks out a bag.

He entwines our hands and smiles at me, "Let's go."

As we walked on the beach sand, legs digging into it, I couldn't help but grin, as the wind hit my face, throwing my hair in all directions.

When we got to a spot, he let go of my hand and opened the bag he was holding. Out of it, he pulls out a large blanket which he spreads on the sand after putting the bag aside.

"Com'ere." He sits on the laid blanket and I mirror his actions.

"What are we doing?" I ask and he tucks my hair behind my ear.

"Watching the sunrise." Without warning he pulls me back.

"Ow." I let out, my head landing on his chest. "You could have given me a heads up, you know." I shifted my position so I could stare at him.

A lazy smirk was drawn on his lips, "Would've spoilt the fun."

I smile, "You're freaking romantic, you know." And trace my hand on his jaw. He shudders, placing an arm over me.

"You're very pretty. So beautiful." He stares at me with such intensity that I get lost in his eyes. "I'm so lucky to have you by my side."

I bite my lip to hold up from the excitement that was bubbling within me at his words. He kisses my hair and I shut my eyes in pleasure.

"Open your eyes." He says and I comply immediately. He motions to the sky and I look up into the orange-hued sun that was coming out. It was just so awe-striking that I couldn't help but smile.

We stay still, in our arms, watching the beautiful setting of nature.

"It's beautiful," I mutter and he pushes me closer to himself.

"Can't disagree." He rubs my sides and we continue to watch the sunrise till the sun is fully out.

I yawn. "I feel like being here forever."

"Princess?"

"Mmh..." I mumble.

He lets out what seems to be a nervous breath, "I like every single second with you." He begins to say and my ears perk up immediately, "Afraid that you won't hug me anymore. I want to be by your side forever. How wonderful the smile from your lip corner is. The rising sun appeared in the sky without a sound just like how I've chased you over endless miles. I can't stop my heart from fluttering. I don't need to think because my heart is racing, I want to hold you and hug you. I can't help it." He stops, and I slowly disentangle myself from his hold and get up into a sitting position. He mirrors my action and joins me, sitting too. He takes my hands into his. I could see the vulnerability in his eyes. He's just let out his feelings, the same feelings I've been holding back. He squeezes my hand and pats his lips, "Be my girlfriend."

He looks into my eyes, almost like he's looking for the sign of a yes.

A tear strokes my cheek, as a smile spreads on my face. He wipes it away with his hand, confusion on his face, probably at the tear. I shake my head to indicate I was nothing. He sighs and holds his breath, waiting for my answer.

"Yes," I nod my head, "I would be your girlfriend," I mutter and pull him closer to hug the life out of him. I couldn't help but place my nose in the crook of his neck as my hands tightened around him. He hugs me back.

He chuckles. "You know, for a moment I was scared you'd say no."

I smile, "I'm sorry for keeping you waiting this long."

"It's okay." He pulls away, "I'm so glad you're my girlfriend now. WOW!! Let me take a minute to process it. I'm your boyfriend, you are my girlfriend. I can't believe this. I feel like screaming it to the whole wide freaking world." He kisses my brows, "I..", my lids, "like..", my nose and I giggle, "you.." my right cheek, "so..." my left cheek, "much. So freaking much." He pulled away slightly and stared at me with adoration, and the intensity of it was making me weak in the knees. If not for the fact I wasn't standing, my legs would have given itself away. He pecks the corner of my lips- I suck in a breath- and next my full lips. Then, he halts, lips still on mine, not moving. My heart starts to beat frantically and when his lips begin to move, I still in his arms.
