"Any fool can know.  The point is to understand."- Albert Einstein

Ashley's POV

One of his hands trails my neck leaving goose bumps on my skin whilst the other hand caresses my waist bringing me closer so we are pressed against each other. He peels his lips off mine and places it on my jaw. I push on his chest, the feeling becoming overwhelming and clouding my senses since I'm new to this. Gladly he stops, pulling away.

He looks at me, the tip of his ear turning scarlet. "Sorry, if I was moving too fast." He smiles sheepishly and I shake my head not knowing how to react.

"Let's watch a movie?" He asks and I nod. He gets up and puts on a movie.

When he comes back to sit beside me. I lace my hands with his and place my head on his shoulder. I look up to see him smiling down at me, I smile back before turning to watch the movie before me. He pecks my forehead and I blush.

Third Person's POV

Cam was in her home, on her bed, playing video games on her phone when it started ringing, Lucas' name flashing on her screen.

A grin lit up her face and she let out a girly squeal of excitement before answering.

"Hey, princess." Lucas's voice could be heard.

She places her hand on her chest as her heart thumps in excitement at hearing his voice. "Yeah, handsome."

There was a light chuckle on his side. "Is that my new nickname?"

She giggles, "Only if you want it to be."

"I want it."

"It is then."

"Are you free today?"

"Kinda."

"What would you be doing?"

"Nothing, I was planning on taking a nap. What's up?"

"Go out with me?" He asks and her heart misses a beat.

"Are you asking me out on a date?" She whispers.

"Yes, I am."

She batts her lashes over and over again as a smirk its way to her lips, though he wouldn't be able to see it. "Ouuuh! I like the sound of that. Eager are we?"

"Definitely! Can't wait for you to be mine. So would you go out with me, ma lady?"

She laughs, "Sure! Only because you're my kind of handsome."

"I'm honored."

"You should be." She flicked her hair, although he couldn't see.

"I know."

_ _

A few moments later, Lucas picks Cam from her house.

"Where are we going?" She asks for the hundredth time as he drives them.

He shakes his head in a 'No', yet again. "I'm not telling you." He says, smirking.

She glares at him, "But why?" and pouts.

He smirks, loving the way she was so curious to know where they were headed.

She sighs and looks out the window, tapping her chin in thought as she tries to come up with a way to let him cave in and tell her where they're headed. A silly thought crosses her mind.

She turns to face him. "What if I..." She touches his shoulder and starts to trail it to his chest seductively, "kiss you?"

"Huh?!" He asks, slightly distracted by her actions.

"Would you tell me if I kiss you?" She continues to trail her hand on his chest as she batts her lashes.

Although she was affecting him, he didn't give in. Instead, he pushes her hands away and she frowns. "Princess, as much as I would love to, I can't tell you where we're going. It'll spoil the fun I'm having while watching you try."

She hits his shoulder, "Meanie!", shooting daggers at him but all he does is chuckle.

She hits him again much harder this time. "Ouch! That hurts.!" He continues to laugh and that seemed to infuriate her even more.

"Of course, I know."

He pinches her cheek, "You're a feisty little thing, you know?"

She swats his hand away, "Whatever," rolling her eyes. "Don't talk to me ever again."

"Ever again?!! Baby, do you want me to die of heartbreak?"

"Maybe." She smirks.

"Maybe?!! Okay, I'm sorry for not telling you what you wanted me to but I promise I'll change for the better." He pulls over. "We're already here. See!!"

She looks at her surroundings. "The Cinema?!" She asks, face lighting up at once.

"Yep."

"And you couldn't just tell me?" She accuses but was happy anyway.

He places his hand over his chest, a smile tugging at the corner of his lips, as he bows, "My honest apologies."

She giggles, "Apology accepted," and pats his hair. "Only because you're handsome."

He chuckles, "Merci! Mon armour."

She laughs, "You're crazy."

"Crazy for you." He says and pecks her cheek, "Let's go, shall we?"

She nods her head and they intertwine their hands, grinning as they enter the large hall.

_ _

She couldn't help but squeal in her head so many times as they sat in the midst of other people, having a bag of popcorn in between their seats. She stretches her hands to pick up a popcorn but her hand clashes with his own. They turn to face each other, a smile breaking out on their faces.

After a long session of gazing into each other's eyes, "You're pretty." He whispers, blowing her a kiss.

She hits his chest playfully, "Stop it."

He chuckles in amusement, "I'm only speaking the truth."

She points at the giant screen before them, "Pay attention."

"I would. Only if you...." he points towards his lips.

Her eyes widen at his innuendo, "Nope." She shakes her head.

"Party pooper." He pouts.

"What happened to 'I can wait'?" She raises a brow at him.

He smiles, "Of course! I can, you're just so ravishing and such a temptress." He says referring to the time she offered him a kiss just so he could disclose where they were headed.

"Now what did I do?" She bats her lashes, playing innocent.

"Nothing. Absolutely nothing." He smiles.

"You're not making any sense, you know." She continues to batts her lashes.

"I know." He picks up a popcorn and brings it closer to her lips. "Open up." She gladly parts her lips and he places it in her mouth.

"Thank you." She ruffles his hair.

"Anything for my princess." He smiles at her, eyes sparkling in the dimly lit room.

After they leave the cinema, he drives them to an ice cream parlor. They take their seats, and not long after, a young man appears at their table.

"Hello, welcome to 'Take a Bite' ice cream Parlor. This is our menu." He hands over the menu to them, as he stands waiting for them to decide what flavor of ice cream they'd like to order.

"I want a chocolate chip ice cream," Cam mutters, a smile on her lips as she blushes. She wouldn't lie to herself, the waiter was hot. He offered her a dashing smile before turning to Lucas who was clearly displeased at how Cam was staring at the young man but tried to keep it under a cool façade.

"What of you, mister?" the waiter asks.

"Vanilla with peanut sprinklings." He answers, a cold stare on his face.

"Will be right back." The young man shoots both of them a smile before leaving the table.

Immediately the waiter was out of sight, she let out a mini squeal, forgetting that Lucas was right there beside her, watching her with a frown. When she realizes what she just did, she wipes the stupid smile off her face and clears her throat before finally looking up at him.

And when she meets his gaze, "You were smiling like crazy." He states with a straight face.

"Uhm, yeah. I'm extremely happy that I u-hm was about to eat my favorite ice cream, yay!" She says to lighten the tension that was starting to brew, but it wasn't working, because he continues to wear the hard look.

"Like I'd believe that." He scoffs.

She smiles sheepishly.

"Why were you looking at him like that?" he asks further, not letting the matter rest.

"Who?" She feigns ignorance.

"The waiter."

She laughs nervously, "I was looking at him normally. Yeah, normally, that's how I stare at people I meet for the first time."

He raises a brow at her, not believing her for a second.

"It's true. I...." The re-appearance of the waiter makes her halt her statement as he sets her ice cream before her. She couldn't help but notice how tight his shirt was against his skin and the way his biceps flexed as he placed Lucas' ice cream before him. Her lips widened into a smile but she was only admiring him and nothing more. Just a normal 'her' thingy but unknown to her, Lucas didn't like it a bit, the way she was drooling at the supposed waiter.

After doing his business, the waiter leaves. Cam's eyes trail after him as he heads to another table to take their order.

"Cam!" Lucas raised his voice to get her attention, for it was lost.

Shit! She cusses mentally. She'd been caught, again.

"Yes! Yeah! What?"

"You're checking him out." He accuses, shooting daggers at her.

She bites her lips as she makes a sorry face. "I was just checking him out just for the sake of it. You know, admiring God's creation and all. I promise it doesn't mean anything."

"Really?"

She nods her head vigorously.

"Wow!" He chuckles humorlessly. "You're something, I'm right here," he motions with his hand, "...and you're checking out another guy. The even funnier part of it is that you see nothing wrong with it."

"On a serious note, Isn't he hot?" She asks, in a matter-of-fact tone.

"Cam!" He yells, loud enough for only their hearing.

She shrugs, "Just asking."

"Well, I'm straight. I definitely wouldn't know if another guy is hot." He air quotes, jaw ticking in anger. What a ridiculous question she was asking.

"I promise I was only appreciating his beauty, that's all. Nothing much."

He ignores her and rather digs into his ice cream and scoops some into his mouth.

A second passes and two, three, and some more. "Are you angry?" She asks and he looks up at her.

"No." He mutters.

"Then smile."

He raises his brows, "Why would I?"

"Okay, I'm sorry for checking out another guy while you were still here."

"Are you saying you would check out guys when I'm not around?"

"Why not?" She shrugs, a cunning smile playing at the corner of her lips.

He lets out a breath. "Are you doing this on purpose?"

"Doing what?"

He shakes his head and goes back to eating his ice cream.

She starts laughing all of a sudden and he looks up at her, annoyed at her antics, it was getting to him.

"You should have seen your face, you know. You're so jealous."

"Why wouldn't I be? Imagine being in my shoes. If I'm to do the same thing you just did. Maybe flirt with a waitress, how are you going to take it?"

"Normal."

"I see! Maybe I should return the favor you know, find a beautiful waitress to flirt with. That way you'll understand how I'm feeling right now."

"Don't even try it." She warns.

"Exactly!"

She sighs, "Okay I accept that I'm at fault. I was just teasing you and here you are getting all jelly."

"I'll get you back. Just want to see how you'll react. Better don't get angry at me when it happens."

"No, no, no, that's unfair, but I apologized. I said I'm sorry."

"Eat your ice cream." He states not looking at her.

"I promise I'm not going to check out any guy from today. I cross my heart."

"Eat your ice cream." He looks at her.

"You're angry at me." She frowns.

He sighs, "I'm not. Just eat your ice cream, it's melting."

She places her hands over his, "I don't want to eat it anymore until you promise me that you're not angry at me."

His gaze shifts to her hand on his before raising it to meet her gaze, "I've already told you. I'm not, not anymore."

"Are you sure?" She pouts.

He smiles "Super."

"Then allow me to feed you your ice cream."

He seemed surprised for a moment. "Okay?"

She smiles and scoops some of his ice cream. "Open your mouth."

He opens it and she places it in his mouth. He manages to smile.

"You're something, you know that right?" He asks after swallowing it.

"I know." She giggles and he shakes his head, a grin of content on his lips.
