A new day, fresh start and a lazy girl. The perfect setup for a story to start. As she dreamed away in her dreamland she had no idea what trouble she was going to be in the moment she wakes up. The alarm buzzed breaking her peaceful slumber. As she moves around in her bed grabbing the clock that broke her serene fantasy and smash the close button wishing for it to break in pieces. But she wasnât so strong was she..? She turned over and looked at the time. 8:00 am. Is there anything important? She wondered. Why else would she want to get up so early even during holidays? Not remembering anything she decided to go back to sleep only for her phone to beep. She picked it up and checked it. Canât say no to a phone notification can you..? The notification said shopping. Who has a notification for shopping? You ask. Well she does. As she glanced at the notification alarms went off in her head like a fire brigade. She bolts up in her bed throwing away the phone and running to the bathroom as she heard a voice calling out âSofiaa"
Sofia pov Yes.. Yes it happened again. I overslept again. And now Iâm gonna be dooomed. Why you ask? Well me and my friends were supposed to go shopping and we were gonna meet at 8 for breakfast at my home. And now Iâm late for a breakfast at my home for me. Oh yes. Iâm the big reason for all this fuss.. You know why. because it's my birthday. No no not today it tomorrow.. but you see we kind of have a tradition that me and all my friends go on a shopping one or two days before the birthday. And now itâs my turn. So today weâre going on shopping and weâll buy our dresses for the party and theyâll buy their gifts for meee... yeee.
Oh o. Yaa the sound you heard calling my Name that was my bestie Kiara. And now sheâs gonna blast me.
As Sofia tries to rush to the bathroom before her best friend comes in the room but just as she reached the bathroom the door of the room smacked open and she froze in her spot. She knew that now she was going to Receive a big lecture.
K:Soooo.. I knew Iâd find something similar in here.
S:Look... I can explain...
K:So can i.. You were lazy as always. And you overslept as always. You forgot about our shopping and plans and are late... As Always. Am i right?
S:I wasnât gonna say that...... But... Itâs true!
Kiara glared at her S:Iâm sorry. You know how I am.
K:Forget about it. Just go and freshen up Every bodyâs here and waiting On the breakfast table for you.
S:Thank you so much.
She ran off into the bathroom. Kiara waited there for her friend to return. After awhile she was all freshen up and came out she saw her friend chatting with another really good looking and smart guy.
Sofia POV That everybody is my Other best friend Ryan Who is also my very best brother. he really takes me as his sister and heâs like the brother I never had.
Heâs always there when I need someone like a brother to talk to. Iâm always glad to have him around.
And another thing I really like them both together. Donât you think they look so adorable. I donât know about you guys. But I ship them So much.
Ryan looks at Sofia And comes and ahead.
Ryan: Sleepy heads late as always.
He said ruffling her hair. Sofia smacked his hand away.
S:Donât do that. And it was unintentional.
R:Who would intentionally sleep late for her own birthday shopping any way.?
S:No one. Thatâs what I said.
R:Ya Ya.. lets get going.. Everybodyâs waiting down there. And were HUNGRY!!
S:I didnât ask you to starve yourself. Why did you have to wait for me anyway?
R:Oh I donât know maybe Because itâs your breakfast at your home for you.
They kept bickering on their way down when Sofia bumped into a girl. She looked up and smiled.
Sofia POV That is my next bestie Aliza. Sheâs the quiet one. She doesnât always speak much but youâll know sheâs always there. But you should see her when itâs just the Three of us. She talks like a chatterbox. Sheâs just a little shy around boys I guess. Or maybe specially around... The guy behind her Who is Nick.
Another guy of our Striking Six. Thatâs our group name by the way. He is not actually a fully brother but ya a very good friend indeed. And yes. I do ship my friends with each other. Donât mind me but come on Doesnât that happen in all friends. Picking out favourites. Teasing them and shipping them together. But know what. Iâm damn sure she likes him. Look at her shy and blush in front of him.
She stops and looks at both of them.
N:Sooo... You finally show up. We were coming to you.
S:Ya ya say it. Everyoneâs been screaming by now. Can we just go and eat. Iâm really hungry.!!
R:Says the one who made Everyone wait till now.
He teased moving down the stairs from beside her. They all moved on towards the dinning hall bickering and teasing. They finally reached the hall.
Sofia Pov That everyone sitting on the table is the most important man of my life. (See a very handsome and good looking guy staring at her with a smirk on his face). Oh no no. Not him. Heâs the jerkface. Or as everyone calls him Ayaan. But I do call him jerkface. Cause you see the face heâs making. That clearly shows that heâs gonna make any idiotic snarky remarks. That i sure don't wanna hear.
The important man I was talking about is the one next to him. That ladies and gentlemen is my Dad Mr. Jones Smith. The bestest and sweetest person on earth and the sweetest and awesomest dad ever. I love him a lot and of course he does too. He took a lot care of me after my mom. Heâs my dad and my mom now. Yeh! You heard it right. I was very young when she passed. I donât remember much just some memories but I do remember how hard it was for me and dad. He was really broken and sad. I had thought that i lost my dad too. But he recovered from it. And it was all for me. He did it for me. He became more stronger for me. To take care of me. And that day onwards he was always there from me. Not just as my dad. But as my mother too. I owe my life to him. Whatever I am today. Its all because if him.
I guess thatâs another reason why we all get along so greatly. We are all orphans. We understand each others pain. We know what we are missing and what we lack. And we are making up to it by each other. Well you see kiara Ryan and aliza lived here in an orphanage that my and Nickâs dad used to fund. Thatâs how we met and became bestfriends. We used to visit the orphanage a lot. and jerkface I mean Ayaan.. he lost both his parents in a car crash when he was 11. He and Nick are cousins. His dad was Nickâs dads ( Edward Adams) big brother. So after that he came and started living here. With his cousin. So thatâs how we all came together and became friends and a group. And thatâs the reason we all get along so well. Well some of us do.
Ok ok I know Iâve been talking on and on. Sorry if I bored you guys. Letâs get back to thee breakfast shall we..
