Chapter 22: CH 22

After Luo Lin Yuan returned home, he began to have a stomachache in the middle of the night. He had a poor physique. A foolish meal in the afternoon made him keep running to the toilet, successfully waking up half of the Luo family members.

Uncle Wu called in the family doctor anxiously. Dr. Chen is also a frequent visitor to their family and was well aware of Luo Lin Yuan’s major and minor problems in his body.

He quickly diagnosed that the gastrointestinal problem was caused by careless eating. Luo Lin Yuan was prescribed a medicine, gave him a drip, and left.

After sending Dr. Chen away, Uncle Wu walked up to Luo Lin Yuan with a serious face.

Luo Lin Yuan pulled up his quilt somewhat awkwardly, trying to cover his face to avoid Uncle Wu’s gaze.

Uncle Wu let out a long sigh. “Young Master, I…”

Luo Lin Yuan hurriedly got up. “I was wrong, I won’t do it again next time.”

Uncle Wu looked at Luo Lin Yuan in distress, “I know Young Master wants to have fun with your friends, but you have to take care of your body.”

Nowadays, young people like to drink, have barbecue, and eat hot pots. Uncle Wu himself has a son, so he understands. But Luo Lin Yuan’s body couldn’t touch those, which may make the young master a little out of place with his friends, but it can’t be helped.

The last time he had barbecue, he only meant to take a few bites because Yu Han insisted on giving it to him.

Thinking of Yu Han, Luo Lin Yuan felt that his newly relieved intestines began to twitch again; he felt uncomfortable.

Uncle Wu wanted to say a few more words to him, but then he saw Luo Lin Yuan’s wet eyes, looking at him pitifully. “Uncle Wu, I want to drink hot water.”

This cub-like sight instantly made Uncle Wu forget that he had to lecture him, and changed into what the young master said, without resistance, and completely obeyed.

Looking at the time, it’s already very late to keep tossing around. Uncle Wu originally wanted him to take a full day off, but Luo Lin Yuan shrank on his bed and thought for a while, “Just half a day, I will go in the afternoon.”

The next day, after learning that Luo Lin Yuan had asked for leave, Fang Xiao was envious. He plopped down behind his tall book and took out his phone to send a message to Luo Lin Yuan.

Luo Lin Yuan didn’t wake up until 10 am and lazily replied to him with a hitch.

Fang Xiao: “When are you coming? You won’t ask for leave the whole day, right? What did you do yesterday?”

Luo Lin Yuan: “Had a little gastroenteritis, I’ll come this afternoon.”

Luo Lin Yuan didn’t reply to him. At this time, someone called out to Fang Xiao. He looked up and saw that it was Yang Xi who called him and was followed by Yu Han. Two tall people standing in front of the class’s door, attracting the attention of many people.

Fang Xiao stuffed his phone into his pocket and trotted to the classroom’s door. The friendship between him and Yang Xi has deepened because of the camping trip. Fang Xiao thought it was normal for Yang Xi to come and find him but why was Yu Han here? Fang Xiao was a little confused.

Yang Xi stretched out his hand and hooked Fang Xiao’s neck, taking him out of the class. “There is a city competition, you can bring those who can play in your class.”

Fang Xiao agreed. Yang Xi, as the school’s team invited them. One was to hope that they would join the school team and the other was to see their strength. Fang Xiao couldn’t be more pleased, how could he refuse?

Yang Xi didn’t expect things to go so smoothly. He patted Fang Xiao’s shoulder happily and said in passing, “Then how about we all have a meal together tonight? How about hot pot?”

Fang Xiao kept nodding his head, good ah good, he likes hot pot.

At this time, Yu Han said next to him, “Yang Xi, I won’t go tonight.”

Fang Xiao and Yang Xi both looked over. Yang Xi knew his situation and didn’t say much, “Okay, you have to come for an hour of training after school.”

Yu Han gave an ‘en’, his gaze went past the two of them, and looked towards the class.

Fang Xiao noticed his gaze and said, “Luo Lin Yuan didn’t come today.”

Yu Han withdrew his gaze and stopped on Fang Xiao’s face without saying anything.

Fang Xiao continued, “He asked for leave because of gastroenteritis last night, and he wouldn’t come until the afternoon.”

Yu Han still didn’t say anything, making Fang Xiao a little embarrassed. He touched his face, “Aren’t you here to find him?”

Yang Xi: “No, Old Yu incidentally accompanied me over to talk about things, we still have to go to the office later.”

Fang Xiao oh-ed, and thought no wonder. He also thought how would Yu Han come over? Obviously, our class doesn’t seem to be very familiar with him.

Although recently his bro has been very close to this person, Fang Xiao still felt that Luo Lin Yuan, who’s so difficult to deal with, won’t match Yu Han ah.

After washing up, he took his phone and went downstairs for breakfast.

At most put it on the side. If someone is looking for him, then he’ll see whether to answer or not depending on the situation.

In order to take care of his stomach, Uncle Wu had the kitchen prepare congee and side dishes, which were fragrant and crisp that assails the nostrils.

Luo Lin Yuan drank half of it then saw his phone screen light up. It was a WeChat alert.

He simply didn’t care, probably Fang Xiao didn’t attend class properly again and came to talk to him.

After finishing the congee, Luo Lin Yuan then turned on his phone and looked at WeChat. At this moment, Uncle Wu happened to come over with a cup of juice and an egg. “Young Master, eat this egg again.”

At this time, he saw his young master showing a surprised expression and even rubbed his eyes.

Uncle Wu: “What’s the matter?”

His young master silently put down his phone, took the egg, peeled it halfway but couldn’t resist. He put the egg down and picked up his phone instead.

Uncle Wu: “Young Master, at least take a bite ah.” He thought that Luo Lin Yuan’s playing with his phone meant that he wouldn’t eat it.

Who knew that Luo Lin Yuan would wave his hand and say, “I’ll eat it later, definitely eat it. I have something important to do now.”

Luo Lin Yuan stared at the screen as if facing a big enemy. And the reason he was so nervous was because of the WeChat from Yu Han.

The man asked him, “Did you have something to look for me yesterday?”

Luo Lin Yuan was thinking of not replying but felt unwilling.

If Yu Han was really curious, he should’ve asked this message yesterday, but only now did he ask. He didn’t know what it meant.

He wanted to put the phone down, hesitated, and finally replied indomitably, “It’s nothing, I dialed the wrong number.”

Yu Han: “……”

I’ll be going back with my usual sporadic/once a week update (Every Sunday) from now on as my classes will start soon *cries in despair. It’s also my last semester so I will be really busy. If you want to know specifically, it’s because my ojt/internship (I’m so nervous for this upcoming interview QAQ any tips?) + research will take most of my time, I’d only probably have free time on weekends (I hope!)
