While training, Junhyuk realized he had changed a lot. He didnât have to eat nor sleep; he didnât feel tired. Junhyuk was different from regular humans now.
There were times he didnât feel human, but he still thought of himself as human. He was more than human, but he did not want to give up his humanity.
Junhyuk told himself that he was human while he trained. At some point, Junhyuk contacted Gongon and invited him over. Gongon handed him a bracelet when he showed up.
âWear this. Itâll save the coordinates to my lair.â
âWill that change anything?â
âIf you can travel through dimensions, you can teleport to these coordinates.â
âYeah? Then, go back. When I manage to teleport through dimensions, Iâll go.â
âSure.â
Gongon left, and Junhyuk stared at the bracelet. The bracelet saved sets of coordinates within it. Junhyuk closed his eyes and teleported, but when he reappeared, he was still inside the training facility. He clicked his tongue and tried again.
It didnât work the second time either. Junhyuk focused on increasing the amount of Harmonizer within his body. It was now well beyond what he had thought to be the limit. At that point, he teleported again and felt himself coming up against a dimensional wall.
The bracelet shone like a beacon, and a path opened up. Junhyuk went through the dimensional wall and felt his surroundings change.
âAm I really here?â
He saw Gongon in front of him and thought that Gongonâs real self looked very cute.
There was another being standing next to Gongon. He was a really handsome man with blond hair tied up in a bun. The man had his arms crossed as he looked at Junhyuk.
âThis must be Junhyuk.â
âDid you see? I gave him the coordinates, and he crossed over to our dimension.â
âI thought only managers could do that. I canât do it. Iâm envious.â
âWho would that be?â
âIâm Gongonâs father, Tetrashell.â
âNice to meet you. Iâm Junhyuk Lee. Iâm Gongonâs teammate in the Dimensional Battlefield.â
âIâve heard. And you two are in the finals?â
âYes.â
Tetrashell looked at Gongon and said, âI didnât think Gongon would make it to the final. Thanks for guiding him.â
âNo. Gongon is the one helping me.â
Tetrashell waved his hand dismissively and said, âHeâs only a hatchling, so he canât be any help.â
Gongon kicked Tetrashellâs leg and said, âYouâve seen him, so you can go now.â
Tetrashell smirked and punched down toward Gongonâs head, but Gongon dodged the punch. A regular attack like that wouldnât hit him. Junhyuk laughed, and Tetrashell scoffed at his son and waved his hand across the air.
A massive amount of mana ensnared Gongon, but the hatchling transformed and forced himself loose.
âYou are something else!â
Tetrashell smiled at Gongon and said, âYou need discipline.â
âMy friend is here! I wonât stand for it!â
Dragons were the best at controlling magic, and their hearts were filled with mana. The Dragon Lord had enough mana within him to fill an entire core. He was a monster, but Gongon was still growing, so he was lacking mana within his heart.
Tetrashell laughed and replied, âI donât want to fight you in your lair.â The handsome man turned to Junhyuk and added, âYou should come to my lair sometime.â
Tetrashell disappeared, and Junhyuk was left speechless.
âShould I learn how to figure out coordinates?â
Gongon laughed at him and said, âYour bracelet can remember up to five sets of coordinates.â
âTo any dimension?â
âThatâs right.â
âI donât know how to input coordinates.â
After some thought, Gongon said, âVera can teach you.â
âBut I have to meet her first.â
âYeah. After we win, invite her to your facility.â
âRight.â
âCan you dimensional shift with other humans?â
âI donât think so, but I can try later.â
âYou might be able to later. Iâll show you around my lair.â
Junhyuk wanted to see the dragonâs lair.
There was a room in the middle in the shape of a circle with a twenty-meter radius and many other rooms were connected to the circle room through hallways. Gongon showed him a room filled with gems and another filled with gold.
âIâm collecting these. I need a lot of money for something specific.â
Gongon showed him another room, one that was sealed with magic.
âWhat are you hiding in there?â
Gongon smirked and opened the door. When he looked through it, Junhyuk saw something he couldnât believe.
âWhat is it?â
âIâm building it from the cores you used to power up.â
âWhy did you make a battleship?â
âThatâll be my true lair.â
The battleship was at least five hundred meters long. There was magic engineering weaved in its construction, and cores were part of its makeup.
âIt lacks true artificial intelligence, but it has an ego.â
âYou can do that?â
Gongon laughed and said, âGuardians has built plenty of things with magic engineering.â
âYou are really something.â
âFollow me.â
Gongo took him inside the battleship. It was huge, but Junhyuk noticed a locked room within.
When Gongon opened it and showed him the inside, Junhyuk saw all the stuff within and laughed.
âYou really have been collecting.â
âYes. When I become a legend, I wonât be able to go to the battlefield anymore. I need to stock up.â
âThis is too much. There are tens of thousands in there.â
âMagic engineering canât make those.â
Gongon had a lot of gold, but he didnât use it to purchase items. Instead, he had been gathering as much Anders Tribe candy as he could.
With a smirk, Gongon said, âThis room has a state-of-the-art security system. Even my Lord canât open it, and my father canât pierce through the battleshipâs security.â
âDo both dragons and humans know magic engineering here?â
âNo. Only a few dragons can know about the cores. The humans know nothing. There are times when humans can make things that threaten us.â
Humans couldnât defeat dragons normally, but with magic engineering, it might be possible.
Looking at Gongon, Junhyuk asked, âIs it operational?â
âIâve installed more cores, so itâs moving now. Come here.â Gongon showed him a large room. Laughing, he said, âThese will be my sleeping quarters when I grow bigger. Elise.â
âWhat?â
Still smirking, Gongon said, âMy discipleâs name. Thatâs the name of the battleshipâs ego.â
âGongonâ¦â
âElise, we will fly together soon!â
âFly?â
Gongon smirked again. The walls were covered in monitors, and there were numbers on all of the screens.
âLair No. 001 is now operational.â
Woo, woob, woo, woob!
Suddenly, the screens showed images of the outside, and the roof of the hangar opened up. The battleship rose vertically. Junhyuk was surprised to see that it had taken flight.
Gongon said, âLetâs go outside.â
âSure.â
Gongon took him to the flight deck, and Junhyuk looked around. He had arrived there with his first dimensional shift, but Gongonâs planet had a blue sky just like Earthâs.
He could see mountains, rivers and an ocean. He also saw castles.
âIs this country part of the human territory?â
âCorrect. They are primitive.â
âYou wonât teach them more?â
âIâm not supposed to teach beasts.â
âWhere did you hear that?â
Gongon chuckled and walked across the deck.
âIâm studying multiple dimensions and using this battleship as my training facility.â
âIs that even possible?â
âIâm a dragon.â
Junhyuk laughed out loud. Dragons were really lucky and intelligent by nature.
Only Elise could measure up to dragons as a human. Sarang had intelligence runestones, but she lacked Eliseâs creativity.
Gongon said, âArtlanâs team will be a problem, but can we defeat the legendary team after?â
âI wonât be easy, but I wonât die that easily either.â
Junhyuk didnât know if the legends still had their items, but the legendsâ items couldnât be better than his. He had purchased the battlefield versions of their items and upgraded them, so he was sure that he could fight against legends now.
Gongon looked at him and said, âRight. I donât think Iâll lose fighting with you.â
âMe either.â
Gongo laughed, âHa-ha-ha! Of course! DId you see my upgraded weapon?!â
âSure! I want you to do my upgrades for me.â
âIs that possible?â
âNot sure, but Iâm going to try more upgrades.â
âIf you need gold, tell me. I can help you out.â
âWhere would you get that gold?â
Gongon chuckled and said, âIâm winning a lot in the Championsâ Battlefield.â
âWho do you bet on?â
âThatâs a secret, but I used my analytical skills to give me an 85-percent chance of winning with high returns.â
âYou should tell me!â
âBut Iâm not always sure.â After that, Gongon added, âIâll show you my world.â
âIs this thing fast?â
âIt is. Expect high speeds.â With a grin on his face, Gongon shouted, âElise! Full speed ahead!â
The cores released a wave of energy, and the battleship absorbed it all. Junhyuk could feel the power of magic engineering coursing through the ship. The battleship broke the sound barrier, but the wind felt refreshing against his skin.
It felt like a breeze to him. Gongon walked up next to him and asked, âHow are you?â
âYou should build me a battleship.â
Gongon laughed out loud.
