Junhyuk didnât go to the airport. Instead, he flew Eliseâs drone. One of them had to sit down while the other flew the drone.
Junhyuk, who was standing since he was flying, looked at Elise. She had a seatbelt buckled and was checking something on her tablet.
âWhy are you working?â
âHm⦠Whenever I get new ideas, I need to store them.â
He looked at her tablet and saw that she had been writing in runes.
âAre you using runic script?â
âRunes depend heavily on combinations to bring out different types of spells. I studied the magic, but for me to become a mage, I need to learn more about magitek. I taught Gongon about engineering. Heâs incredibly intelligent.â
Gongon was a dragon, so for Junhyuk, it was obvious that he would be intelligent. He shrugged and replied, âRight.â
âThere are different disciplines being taught at Gongonâs dimension.â
âOK.â
Gongon did not cast spells like a regular mage. He was a magic crafter, but if he stacked intelligence runestones, he would become a genius of absurd proportions.
Junhyuk stopped thinking about that and focused on flying. The two-person drone was new to him, so he had to pay close attention to what he was doing.
While flying, he asked, âCan I speed up?â
âWait.â
Elise pressed a few buttons, and a transparent windshield appeared in front of her. It wasnât made of glass, but from special materials.
He laughed and asked, âI donât get a shield?â
âYou donât while you are standing.â
âWhatâs its maximum speed?â
âWe can break the sound barrier, but we need more items to be safe. You can go 1,100 kilometers per hour.â
âIâm speeding up.â
Junhyuk boosted the speed to as close the sound barrier as possible without breaking it. At that speed, the wind was strong enough to take off their heads, but Junhyuk simply summoned his armor and flew without a care.
He smirked. He wanted to mess around, so he flew in all kinds of crazy patterns. He made a nosedive with the drone at full speed, but he was used to it.
âAhhh-ahahah!â Elise screamed with a smile. She was enjoying herself. After some time playing, he would fly her to Jeju Island.
He had plenty of time to get there since he had left an hour before everybody else. For that reason, he would enjoy his time with her, so he flew even more chaotically.
â
The hotel was not a regular hotel. It had individual accommodations, like cabins. After being assigned a room, he looked around the place.
Eunseo walked out of the room next door and asked, âDo you want to go swimming with me?â
Before he had a chance to answer, someone rushed toward him, shouting, âBig Brother! Letâs go swimming.â
Sighing, he looked toward the voice. Elise also appeared in front of them. She smiled at him and said, âLetâs go for a swim.â
âWhy notâ¦â
He had given up, and they all headed to the shore in front of the hotel. There were only powered people at the beach.
They werenât playing like normal people. Some of them were using their powers to split the ocean, and those with wind powers were windsurfing with them. They were training while on vacation.
Junhyuk laughed at them. He knew he had to deal with the monster waves for their peace and everyone elseâs.
Sarang took off her kaftan and presented her swimsuit. She was wearing a lacy swimsuit and trying to show off her curves.
Eunseo took off her kaftan, and beneath it, was a black swimsuit. Her body was very well toned, and she pulled out a pair of goggles.
Elise wet her hair and removed her kaftan. While Eunseo was athletic, Elise was voluptuous. She was wearing a bikini that accentuated her breasts, which was more than Junhyuk had ever seen from her.
She walked toward him and said, âWeâre here for a swim, so letâs swim.â
Junhyuk touched the three women and teleported. He dropped them all in the middle of the ocean, and Sarang seemed to be have a hard time swimming.
âI canât swim!â
Junhyuk grabbed her and teleported back to the shore. Sarang pouted, but Junhyuk accelerated and swam out into the ocean.
She kicked the sand and shouted at him, âTeach me how to swim!â
Junhyuk went back to Eunseo and Elise. He could swim faster than a speedboat, so he didnât leave them waiting.
Elise had pulled out a tube from her Spatial Bag, and Eunseo was floating with her belly up. Junhyuk looked at the tube and saw that it was big enough for two people.
Elise waved at him and said, âJoin me.â
Junhyuk shook his head and floated on his back like Eunseo. He was resting.
A moment later, Eunseo swam to him and said, âTonightâs menu is barbecue.â
âThatâs a great idea.â
She smiled at him and said, âThe vacation was a great idea.â
âYou havenât slept, right?â
Eunseo nodded. Since she had taken over Guardians, she hadnât had enough time to sleep. She had skilled secretaries, but the work still piled up. The twenty-four hours in the day werenât enough.
She was enjoying herself, floating on her back.
Whenever Junhyuk thought about Akshaâs Longsword, he learned something new. He wanted to master it and combine it with his own swordsmanship, but that day, he would just rest.
The waves rippled easily around his body, and he stared at the blue sky above.
Everyone was enjoying the vacation. The expenses were being paid by Guardians, and they were able to rest.
That night, they ate barbecue and, the next day, they swam in the ocean again. Some of the powered people were dating each other. Some of them were taken over by the mood and passionately expressed what had been on their minds to each other.
âIf powered people have babies, will the babies have powers too?â Junhyuk murmured.
Elise grabbed his arm and said, âI want to test that theory!â
He turned to her, and looking up at him, she asked, âDo you want to try?â
âTry what?â
âHaving babies. Iâm curious about what would happen if a hero had a baby with a champion.â
Junhyuk gave her a wry smile and let go of her. Sometimes, Eliseâs jokes went a little far.
âTsk!â
She clicked her tongue, and he shook his head. Suddenly, an alarm rang from her tablet, and Junhyuk turned to her again. She was frowning.
âTears will appear.â
âWhere?â
âNot that many. About twenty worldwide.â
âSouth Korea?â
âNo. The nearest one will be in China.â
Junhyuk nodded and gathered the group of champions and experts.
âWe are on vacation, but we just found out that tears will start spawning. Itâs time to move out.â
Everyone had a Spatial Bag, and they all started pulling out their items.
âFirst, weâll go to China,â he said. They had to deal with the nearest one.
Once they got to China, he found out that the monsters were wyverns again.
âWhat are they thinking?â
The wyverns might be stronger now, but it only took the team a short while to kill them all. After the battle, he received a report. It said that the new decomposition compound had been effective against the wyverns around the world.
Suddenly, Elise called him.
âFive tears will appear in South Korea.â
Junhyuk did not hesitate and said, âLetâs go.â
While he went to China, the managers had sent more wyverns to South Korea. After the dragon attack in Korea, Junhyuk was hesitant to divide his team there.
Elise had flown her drone to Samcheong District, and Junhyuk met her there. He formed two teams. One would deal with the wyverns in the sky, and the other would focus on a huge monster on the ground. The monster looked like a dragon, but it lacked wings. It was using its massive body to destroy the buildings around it.
The people were being evacuated. The Air Force fighter jets could now deal with the wyverns, so the monster on the ground posed a bigger problem.
âThatâs a drake. I doesnât have magic, but itâs resistant to magic. Its defense is also outstanding. Itâs much stronger than a wyvern,â Junhyuk heard Elise say.
After learning that, he got on his drone.
âWhat about the other tears?â
âThree other places have wyvern-drake combos. The National Defense Force is dealing with them. The last tear is being dealt with by the U.S. Air Force, but I canât see anything thatâs happening in the area. Itâs all covered in a dark fog.â
Junhyuk slashed the drake, easily killing it. Compared to dragons, they were much weaker.
Not everyoneâs attacks would work, but after clearing the drakes from all of the tears, he shouted, âWeâll head into the fog thatâs shrouding everything!â
âCan I come?â
âNo need. The army has been deployed there?â
âYes.â
âThen, Iâll head there now.â
Junhyuk had a bad feeling, so he thought he had to get there immediately.
It had taken him ten minutes to kill all of the drakes around South Korea. The wyverns were also dead.
He took the entire powered force with him after killing the drakes. The wyverns had been dealt with by the armies. Casualties had taken place, but the military could fight now.
Junhyuk reached Dobong Mountain and saw a dark fog covering everything within a two-kilometer radius from the center of it.
Frowning, he said, âSomethingâs not right.â
Junhyuk hadnât imagined something like that. He suspected a monster stronger than the drakes was causing it.
âYouâll get a present soon,â he heard Elise say through comms.
He turned toward an approaching noise and saw a red robot flying toward him. The robot stopped suddenly in front of him, and he laughed.
âGanesha?â
âIt feels different to meet you in person.â
Ganesha was covered in Red Dragon scales, and it would be more helpful than the experts.
