[Kiyana and Chirag]
After sangeet everyone went to their rooms and had a good sleep as the next day is their marriage, but Kiyana and Chirag couldnt sleep. they were excited happy tensed they were having mixed emotions.
Kiyana's parents were happy but tensed how will she get adjusted their, Chirag's family is beyond happy.
the marriage day. [itssss happeninggggg!!! my babies are gettinnggg married. my Chirag is getting married]
Everyone woke up early in the morning not able to sleep, they were getting ready. while taking care of the arrangements, Meera crossed everyone and went to Guest house to have a small talk with Chirag.
"hey Meera dear come" Kairav said
"Ah pedhananna can I speak to Chirag bava?" she asked
"yeah yeah dear he is in room." they said and she made her way their and knock the door
"Babe?" Aarav said opening the door she looked very tensed
"come in." he said moving
"All okay?"
"Chirag?" she said in slow voice
"rey." Aarav called making Chirag enter the room.
Chirag came inside with cigarette and shaking hands seeing Meera he threw that and drank water, and spared scent
"Bava I-jd" Meera stopped took a deep breath
"Im sorry, Im ready to take any punishment you give me for teasing you all these days and sometime chatting with you in place of Kia and for everything but please dont take revenge on my sister. she is very precious to me." Meera said with tears
while boys saw her, "I will never hurt her I swear kiddo." he replied
"But as punishment you will be giving me tips to impress your sister mm~" he asked for which Meera nodded with smile
"Now dont cry, someone will kill me" Chirag said in teasing tone making her smile , she walked towards door and stopped, turning back she said
"My sister hate cigarette smell tip 02" she smiled making them smile and left.
Chirag collapsed on Chair,
"em ayindhi ra?" Ishaan asked worried
(What happened?)
"Im scared, tensed. Will I be able to take care of her?" He asked with tears
"Why are even crying?" Aarav asked smiling as he bent to his level.
the trio had a group hug.
"I never seen you this tensed" Ishaan said.
Ishaan and Aarav.
Chirag went to bathroom,
"I have never seen him cry." Aarav said
"he is tensed?"
"stressed about loosing her." Aarav replied
Meanwhile.
"Maaa car keys---" Kiyan stopped on his tracks seeing her
he walked inside as other women understood him, they smiled
"you still look ugly." he said making her angry and others laugh
he saw women in room, they left them understanding.
he kneeled down infront of her and took her hands in his. before she could speak he spoke
"I-I never saw my mom, the mom I know the god I know is you. You are my god you are my mom you are my father you are my sister my brother my everything. The only girl I love. when everyone called me mistake you stood by me telling Im god gifted never made me feel im worthless. I wont make you feel bad by saying thank you but Thank you for everything. Im happy that you are finally thinking about you. your happiness but maa Im damn selfish, I will miss you I dont want you to go but I have to let you go, But maa you need to give me a word." he asked and Kiyana nodded
"You will take care of yourslef, you will fight for you and if anyone of your in-laws says you anything you will call me." he said
"I will yan." she said ruffling his hair
"MAAAAAA!!" he shouted making him chuckle.
"Stop being emotional now" Kiyana said wiping his tears.

everyone along with the both families gathered near the stage. here beings the rituals of the wedding.
the first. Kashi Yatra - this is really fun.
[Kashi Yatra is a fun ritual where the groom pretends to be disinterested in marriage and would rather go on a holy pilgrimage to Kashi. The bride's father and brother then stop the groom from going on a pilgrimage and instead request him to marry the bride-to-be.]
Chirag was walking away, but Kiyan stopped
"Bava stop take U turn and marry my sister." he said
"You need to please me not order me." Chirag replied
"please." Kiyan said
"I cant hear im leaving"
"Pleaseee...." Kiyan replied
"I cant hear." Chirag said teasing him
"Okay bye. I will keep my sister with me" Kiyan said turning back
"wait I will marry her." Chirag said making everyone laugh.
second. Ganesh pooja - by groom
[The first pooja to take place at the mandap is the Ganesh Pooja in which the groom takes part. The aim of this pooja is to bless the couple with a happy and prosperous life and the wedding precession with the hope that all goes well without any hindrances.]
Chirag did this pooja and went to change his outfit which was given by Kiyana's parents.
third. Gauri Pooja - by bride
[While the groom is engaged in the Ganesh Pooja, the bride offers prayers to Goddess Gauri during Gauri Pooja. Goddess Gauri is a symbol of fertility, triumph of good over evil and motherhood and the would-be-bride seeks her blessings.]
Kiyana did this pooja and went to change her saree thats given by Chirag's parents.
Chirag done his change and came out, he sat on the pitam [seat?] on his side and he saw the terasala
"what is this now? where is Chinna?" he asked his mom
"you cant see her until Jeelakara Bellam is done." his mom replied
"Maaa i want to see her." he said sulking
"You can see her for rest of the life." his sister said in teasing tone
they heard screams and Chirag understood its his Chinna
"everyone will see her expect for me." he said pouting
"why are you acting different today?" his father asked
"just like how you did seeing my mom." he replied him as they both smiled
fourth. Brides entry
[Once the poojas are over, the accompanied by her parents and family. In certain traditions, the bride is seated on a straw basket and carried to the mandap by her maternal uncle(s). However, these days, if a bride is entering seated, the seat can range anything from a simple straw basket to a decorated basket that looks like a lotus. Until the Jeelakara Bellam ritual is complete, the bride and groom aren't supposed to look at one another. Hence, a curtain or chadar called Terasala ('tera' meaning screen) is placed between them.]
Kiyana sat down infront of Chirag, ayyagaru was preparing for next step but he didnt know there is a small kid on stage
"Chinnaa~~" Chirag whispered making everyone chuckle on the stage
"tell them to take this I want to see you." he whispered again
"They will once Im done." Ayyagaru said making everyone laugh
fifth. Kanyadaan and panigrahanam.
[The Kanyadaan & Panigrahanam are rituals performed by the bride's parents where after washing the groom's feet, they offer their daughter's hand to the groom. The groom, in return, promises to love, respect and protect his bride for life.]
"I will take care of her mamayya." Chirag said making Kiyana and her father smile
Sixth. Jeelakara Bellam
['Jeelakara' means Cumin and 'Bellam' means Jaggery in Telugu. This ritual begins by placing a paste of cumin and jaggery on the hands of the couple. The ceremony takes place at an auspicious hour because time of this ritual is extremely important. At the exact mahurat, the couple place the paste on each other's heads, moving their hands above the curtain. The ritual symbolises the fact that the couple will stick together through the bitter-sweet moments of life.]
As they took the curtain, Chirag's and Kiyana's eyes met which were having tears.
"Forever yours." Chirag said wiping her tears as she smiled
the relatives started to come and bless them.
"Hands are paining." she said
"should I say---"
"Im fine mama."
they were said to change their outfits.
seventh. Mangalsutram
[Immediately after the Jeelakara Bellam, the bride and the groom are asked to change into the madhuparakam which are white/cream-coloured attires with red/green/yellow borders. While the bride and the groom get ready in their respective rooms, the pandit places the mangalasutram on a coconut and passes it amongst the family members for blessings. When the bride and the groom return, the groom ties the mangalasutram or thaali (a sacred yellow thread smeared with turmeric with 2 gold pendants at the middle called Sutralu). The groom ties three knots, each representing Manasa (thoughts), Vacha (speech), and Karmana (action). This particular ritual signifies the union of the two souls physically, mentally and spiritually.]
Ayyagaru gave him the mangalasutram, Chirag stood up to tie that and asked
"remember once I tie this there is no going back, you will be mine forever and there is no way Im giving you divorce. think careful."
Kiyana saw him and said "I will never want to get divorced" they smiled and he tied the mangalasutram.
"Three times athaya?" he asked Kiyana's mom said yes
he tied it very strong making them laugh.
eight. Talambralu.
[This is like a fun break between two main events. During this the pandit chants mantras and the bride and the groom shower each other's heads with talambralu (pearls, colourful thermocol balls, or rice coloured by turmeric paste). The first 3 times are significant, after which it turns into a game. The families too get involved and try that help their person win pour more rice over the other.]
cousins and Friends divided into two groups and cheered them
Girls pulled Kiyana back,
"Careful. if something happens to her I will kill you all" Chirag said making everyone laugh
ninth. pradhanam.
[Following the Talambralu, a pot full of milk and rose petals is prepared. A gold ring is dropped into it and its brought to the mandap. The bride and groom then engage in a fun game of putting their arms into the pot and see who finds the ring first. It is an exciting game for both the bride and groom and the people watching. The struggle the couple goes through to secure the gold ring is humourous entertainment for everyone.]
Ayyagaru said "the person who wins more than opposite will have upper hand in the marriage"
when Kiyana understood she will loose, she asked
"why dont you loose I want to win." she said
"anything for you." He said giving her ring inside the post making her smile.
tenth. Kanyadaan Akshata.
[After Talambralu and Pradhanam, the bride and groom exchange , signifying their acceptance of another as life partners. As the couple exchanges flower garlands their friends and relatives shower them with flowers and turmeric-coloured rice.]
elven. Saptapadi and sthaalipaakam.
[In this ritual, the couple takes seven rounds around the holy fire while taking their marriage vows. One end of the groom's dhoti is tied to the bride's saree as they walk seven times around the homan (fire). As they walk these seven steps, they promise each other nourishment, togetherness in both joy and sorrow, wealth, strength, to care for their parents, to care for their children, to remain friends forever.]
twelve. Arundhati Nakshatram.
[During the Arundhati Nakshatram, the couple is taken out of the mandap by the priest to spot the Arundhati and Vasistha nakshatram (star) in the sky. The Arundhati and Vasistha star represent the ideal couple, hence they're shown to the couple to set an example. The groom points out the stars to his bride. Following this the groom puts a silver toe ring on the bride's toe.]
"its okay if you cant find the nakshatram bava my sister will show you everyday." Meera said making everyone laugh
"I wont hesitate to marry her everyday." Chirag replied
