Chapter 652 A Trap âItâs already eleven oâclock. Seems like I exhausted you last night,â Abel said. âItâs your fault. We did it four times, you know,â Emmeline said as she blushed. âI havenât had enough. If I didnât care about you, I couldâve done it until morningâ¦â Abel said by her ear.
âItâs already eleven oâclock. Seems like I exhausted you last night,â Abel said. âItâs your fault. We did it four times, you know,â Emmeline said as she blushed. âI havenât had enough. If I didnât care about you, I couldâve done it until morningâ¦â Abel said by her ear.
âDo you still want me to get out of bed? I still have important matters to attend to today,â Emmeline said. âImportant matters? Whatâs up?â Abel asked. Emmeline recalled Janieâs words and said, âI just want to get some clothes for our honeymoon.â
âWant me to accompany you?â Abel asked joyfully. Emmeline was about to become his bride. Although their kids were already four years old, he was still looking forward to their wedding. âThereâs no need for that. It would be boring for a man like you,â Emmeline replied.
âAlright. Be sure to call me if youâre in trouble,â Abel said. He kissed Emmeline on the lips. âI will,â
Emmeline said as she nodded. âWell, itâs time to get out of bed. I made breakfast for you,â Abel said.
âThanks, Hubby. Youâre the best!â Emmeline said as she kissed him.
Abel pulled the blanket away and crouched down to help her put on her slippers. He caressed Emmelineâs head and said, âGo wash up while I set the table.â Emmeline nodded and entered the bathroom.
After breakfast, Abel went to Ryker Group while Emmeline rested in bed. Her legs felt weak after last night with Abel. She began to feel uneasy as she did not receive any messages from Janie. She decided to text her first. âJanie, can we meet now?â
After a while, Emmeline received a reply. âIâm still at Falmouth. Letâs meet up here.â
âWe looked for you at Falmouth. Why didnât you meet us?â
âI didnât want to see Benjamin.â
âMr. Benjamin has been looking for you ever since you left. Heâs worried about you.â
âI know.â
âThen why arenât you coming back?â
âI want to see you. Thereâs something we need to talk about.â
âAlright. Which hotel are you at?â
âIâll let you know when you reach Falmouth.â
âYouâre still keeping things from me?â
âIâm not. I havenât entered a hotel yet.â
âFine. Iâll be driving there. Let me know soon.â
âNo problem. Donât tell Abel or Benjamin about this. I just want to meet you.â
âYou got it.â
Emmeline got out of bed and changed into white sportswear. Kendra was out for groceries so Emmeline did not inform her. She drove her silver Bugatti towards Falmouth. The trip would take up to five hours. She planned to tell Abel about it when she returned.
If Emmeline returned home late, she would receive another punishment from Abel. She could not bear it as he was too good at it. Her legs were still feeling weak as she was driving. She left Struyria and drove on the highways.
After two hours, Falmouth was at the next exit. Suddenly, a black car drove into the lane from the side.
Emmeline nearly collided with the car. She maneuvered to the other lane and prepared to overtake the car. However, the car switched lanes and blocked her path.
