Adrien nodded. âEmma, thank you!â
âAdrien!â Julianna yelled angrily, âNo need to thank her! Sheâs Abelâs woman!â
âEmma.â Abel hugged Emmelineâs shoulders and kissed her forehead. âItâs none of our business here.
Letâs go home.â
Emmeline pursed her lips and nodded.
âYes, letâs go home,â Timothy said, then waved to Oscar. âGoodbye, Great-grandfather.â
Oscar waved. âGoodbye, Timmy.â
The children followed Abel and turned around.
Oscar said solemnly, âWait a minute. Why are you three so rude?â
The triplets knew Oscar was mentioning them.
Helios turned around first, then pouted. âAre you still blaming Daddy and Mommy?â
Oscar shook his head.
âOkay. Goodbye, Great- grandfather.â Helios waved.
As soon as he took the lead, Endymion and Hesperus also turned around to say goodbye to Oscar.
Oscar finally revealed a slight smile.
Rosaline whispered to Lewis happily, âHubby, thatâs great! We have four grandsons!â
âEmmeline is a lucky star.â Lewis patted the back of Rosalineâs hand. âWe have to reward her well.ââ
âOf course!â Rosaline laughed. âI also hope she gives us two more granddaughters.â
Lewis said happily, âYes, Levan Mansion is thriving.â
Meanwhile, Julianna fainted to the ground unconscious.
âMom!â Adrien rushed forward.
Landen also rushed over and helped Julianna. But Julianna tightly closed her eyes without waking up.
Landen shouted, âAdrien, call 911! Your mom is not well!â
Adrien fumbled for his phone and called 911.
Taking advantage of the chaos, Alana got up and ran.
Oscar did not care about Alana. He knew she could not escape. Abel would not let her go.
Alana ran out of the Rykerâs residence and got into her car but did not start the engine to escape.
She also knew she could not run away. So she took out her phone and dialed Adamâs number tremblingly.
The phone rang a few times before Adam picked it up.
Alana said hoarsely, âMr. Adam, the matter has been exposed. Do you know that?â
âI knew it when I saw Kendra,â Adam replied calmly.
âThen what shall we do now? Weâre in the same boat.â
âThereâs nothing to worry about.â Adam snorted coldly. âImperial Palace didnât open for nothing for so many years!â
Alana felt a lot more at ease.
Adam had relationships in the underworld, so he must settle everything, or he would not be so calm.
Then, Adam said, âDonât worry. Iâve already settled it. We wonât be related in the murder case of Brookwater Village.â
Alana breathed a sigh of relief. âThatâs good! The rest isnât a big deal. Only about stealing Emmelineâs child. I can pay the fines and find someone to settle it.â
âWell, settle that matter yourself. I wonât show up. Itâs trivial.â
Alana said, âBut Mr. Adam, I have nowhere to go now. Can you take me in?â
âTake you in?â Adam sneered. âI donât raise idlers here!â
âI wonât stay for nothing. Iâll seek revenge on Abel and Emmeline.
Isnât that exactly what you need?â
Adam pondered and thought Alana was still usable in his plan.
âOkay then.â Adam took a puff on his cigar. âCome to the Imperial Palace and find me.â
