DIMITRIS POV Lily was already asleep when I laid her in bed. I sat down beside her, gazing at her face. My guts were clenching, still wanting to be one hundred and fifty percent sure she wasn’t hurt. If she felt more than what I had, it was no wonder she was so exhausted. I was only on my feet now because of my Alpha b***d. And probably a s**t ton of adrenaline.

I’d been holding the file Luke had got on Snow Moon, debating wether I was in the mood to read it or not, when I’d felt the strangest sensation go through me. Soon, I was collapsed over my desk, gasping for air. I hadn’t known what was happening, only that it was connected to Lily. As soon as I was able, I used all my speed to go to her. I’d almost fainted with relief when I saw her in the clearing, clearly exhausted, but alive.

Now I sat wondering. Lily could mind-link out of our species. I was amazed and awed, shocked and honestly, anxious. What else could she do? I didn’t want to think like this, but it was built into me, into my very DNA. I had to look after my pack, and while I trusted Lily heart and soul, I needed to know she wasn’t a danger.

“You know she would never hurt anyone.” Ajax said quietly.

“I know. I do. But you know I can’t help thinking like that.”

“You’re thinking like an Alpha. And that’s fine, as long as she knows you trust her.”

I laid down beside my mate, playing with her hair. At some point, I fell asleep too, my arm over her stomach. I woke up to the now familiar sparks of our bond. Opening one eye, I looked at my mate as she trailed her fingertips over my cheek.

“I didn’t mean to wake you.” She said quietly.

“Don’t worry about it. How are you feeling?”

“Much better.”

“Good.” I kissed her lightly. “I think we should talk.”

“I saw you.” She smiled softly.

“What?”

“I saw my soul Dimitri. I saw my bond with Aya, and with you and Ajax. You literally gave me a part of your soul, and I know I gave you a part of mine. I could see it, feel it. It was so beautiful.”

I stared at her, amazed. Was that what I felt when we marked each other?

“What else?” I asked curiously.

“I don’t remember all of it. But it came back, when I was sleeping. I saw my past… Snow Moon. And the things they did to me.” Her bottom l*p trembled slightly. “I saw you, when you met me the first time. I felt your anger.”

I flinched.

“But I also saw you now. I see that you do really want me, you accept me. I know you really, truly want this to work between us.”

“I really do.”

“And I know that you love me.”

Well, s**t. It wasn’t like I didn’t know it. I’d almost said it to her, before catching myself. I wanted to say it at the right time, and when I was sure she felt the same. Her eyes held such certainty though, it wasn’t like I could deny it. She knew.

“I do love you.” I told her.

She grinned, pulling me in for a sweet k**s that took my breath away.

“I love you too.” She whispered against my lips.

Joy burst from my chest, radiating throughout my entire body. How great it was to hear her say those words! We kissed again, letting our love pour through the bond between us. It felt incredible. So good, that I had a hard time pulling away. When I finally managed, my breathing was harder.

“We still need to talk.”

“I know.”

I cupped her cheek gently. “I’m not trying to be an a*****e-“

“But you need to ensure the safety of our pack.” She finished for me.

“Uh, yeah.”

“I’m worried about it too Dimitri. I don’t know how to explain it… I just feel like… like theres more I can do, I just don’t know what yet. And I totally get where you’re coming from. As long as we can go through it together, with trust and honesty, I’m happy.”

“We will. But Lily-“

She placed a finger on my lips, silencing me. “If… if something happens, and I become…” She paused, blowing out a breath. “I’ll leave. I won’t put you or the pack in danger. I promise. I would never do that. But you have to promise me, that if that happens, you won’t try and stop me. It’s whats best, the right choice.”

I couldn’t believe it. She was willing to leave, to abandon everything and everyone she cared about, just to keep us safe? I couldn’t make her that promise though. My heart shattered at the very idea of her not being here, not being with me.

“Dimitri.” She forced me to look at her. “Promise me.”

“Don’t you dare!” Ajax howled in my head.

“I… I promise.” I whispered.

Lily smiled, even as a tear ran down her cheek. I wiped it away, caressing her face.

“It won’t come to that though. I know you; You would never hurt anyone, not without a good reason. You’re not a bad person Lily.” I brought her into my arms, rubbing her back. “You’re my girl. The best girl in the world, and I love you. I’ll help you, support you. You can count on me.”

“I do.” I felt her smile against my chest. “But you’re kind of weirding me out. You’re not usually so mushy.”

“That’s what happens when you speak from the heart darling.”

Lily laughed, making me smile. “Goddess, there are times when I miss a*****e-Dimitri.”

I leaned away to look at her. “Seriously?”

“Seriously. I’d never admit it to you then, but a*****e-Dimitri can be really sexy.”

“I don’t know what to say to that.”

Suddenly, I felt her hand on my groin, rubbing over my pants. I instantly loss b***d supply from my brain.

“When you take control-“, She kissed my jawbone, “-And show your dominance-“, Her tiny hands skillfully undid my belt, pulling down my zipper, “-It makes me have all sorts of dirty thoughts.” She pushed my pants down, grabbing me softly.

“Like what?” I breathed.

Her hand moved agaonzingly slowly, torturing me. I’d discarded the blanket from Clara when I’d put her to bed, so she was completely naked. I glanced down at her hard n*****s, just begging to be in my mouth.

“Let me show you.”

I wasn’t sure we should after what she’d been through today, but I couldn’t say no. All I could do was watch as she straddled me, placing my tip at her entrance. She rubbed it against her slick core, the feeling bringing a low g***n out of me. My hands automatically went to her h**s as she lowered herself onto me, inch by inch, until she had taken all of me. To say I was impressed didn’t even cover it. I was so f*****g turned on, I didn’t know how long I would last right now. Just the sight of her on top of me was enough to make me come. And she thought I was the dominating one?

I wanted to give her the chance to get adjusted to the new position, when she suddenly lifted herself up and slammed down on me. The feeling was unlike anything I’d ever felt.

“Holy f**k.” I growled.

Lily repeated the action, almost lifting herself off me. She was glorious, so hot. I couldn’t believe she’d never done this before. I started moving my h**s, guiding her and soon we found a steady rhythm. It was new for her, but ti felt like it was for me too. Wanting to show her more, give her more, I sat up, keeping my hold on her. She wrapped her arms around my neck as I gently started moving her h**s back and forth, griding against me.

“Oh… Goddess that feels good!” She whispered breathlessly.

Soon, she took over by herself, finding her own pace. I sucked one of her delicious n*****s into my mouth and at the same time used my hand to roll and knead the other. Lilys head fell back, lost in pleasure. She rolled her h**s deliciously, giving me a sensation I’d never felt before.

“Dimitri… Oh…”

She started to move faster, rougher. I brought my lips down on hers and she rode me, gently biting her l*p. Bringing my h**s up, she growled in pleasure as she took me deeper. Her walls clenched around me, fluttering. I kissed her deeply, recklessly. When she came, I lost my grip on reality. I’d pay any amount of money to experience this feeling again. Lily exploded around me, half moaning-half screaming into my mouth. I followed right behind her, wrapping her in my arms tightly.

We fell back, her landing on top of me. After several minutes of heavy breathing, I kissed her mark, feeling her shudder.

“So, what other fantasties do you have about me?” I smirked.
