Ch17: I Should Wax Away My Hair Legs To Forget My Problems Like Mick Does
"I am adding cool transitions," I growl as I type on the computer.
So thanks to Vincent and his stupid phone we're going to present first and our PowerPoint isn't finished.
He was pointing at his phone because he had sent me a text that read; meet me in the classroom C-4. Need to talk.
As if that couldn't wait until Ms. Edwards was done talking.
"I think you should add different ones," he says and I roll my eyes. "The ones you have right now aren't cool enough."
I swear he's had a stick up his ass ever since we talked in the classroom. It's as if he can't stand being around me.
Well Mr. Halls the feeling is mutual.
"I'm more worried about adding the information right now," I spit out bitterly. "I'll change the transitions later grass ass."
"What's so hard about changing them now kitten?" He exclaims and I glare at him.
"You're such a pain in the ass," I push him before getting off the couch and making my way towards the stairs taking the computer with me.
"You're really leaving," he stands up. "This is a group project, we should be working on it together."
"You already did your half," I roll my eyes. "Let me do mine in peace."
"Guys," I hear a voice from upstairs. "Please shut the hell up."
"No," Vincent growls "cover your ear if you don't want to hear."
"Seriously," I scoff "you're unbelievable. I swear if I could rip your throat out I would."
"Yeah," he scoffs "if I could punch you in the face I would."
"That's nice," I say "maybe you'd knock me out and I wouldn't have to see your face."
"Well," he yells "if you'd rip my throat out I'd die happy knowing I would never have to put up with you again."
"Good," I yell back frustrated.
"Good," he nods furiously.
"Seriously," Josh comes down the stairs. "Shut the hell up please. It's two in the morning and we're trying to sleep."
"I have an important game tomorrow," Alex comes down behind Josh "and I need to get sleep. Please be quiet."
"Come work with me," I say as I climb the stairs "when you get whatever you have up your ass out."
"Oh you're funny," Vincent yells after me and I simply roll my eyes before slamming my room door shut.
A few seconds later I hear his door slam.
**
"Wake up Bair," someone knocks harshly on my door and I groan in response.
"Leave Pipper," I yell shoving my head under my pillow.
"No," he knocks again. "Get up, get ready, and let's go."
"I said no," I throw a shoe that I find on the floor towards the door. "Now please let me sleep."
"It's been three weeks," he speaks frustrated. "Victor thinks I should give you time, but fuck that. Get up!"
I decide to ignore him. Maybe he'll give up and leave.
"Bair," he knocks again. "I'm not leaving until you come out."
"Seriously," I stand up and open the door. I see him standing there with his messy curly hair and a annoyed look on his face.
"Get dressed," he barks and I roll my eyes before slamming the door shut on his face.
Why can't he respect my decision of not wanting to go to support group anymore?
It's my choice.
Besides Victor is full of shit.
I quickly change into some black leggings, a long red v-neck shirt and some red sandals before quickly brushing my hair. Then I wash my face and brush my teeth before going towards the door.
"I don't know," I hear someone whispering and I can barely make out the voice.
Alex?
"She's just being stubborn," Pipper whispers "but don't worry it'll pass."
"She's been arguing with everyone a lot lately," the voice whispers back and I realize it's Josh. "I'm starting to think something happen that she's not telling my about."
Well, kinda.
So it's been a week since the terribly embarrassing prank the guys played on me.
Now that wasn't the issue, I'll get my revenge.
The problem is that I received the monthly money my parents sent me and I realized that I haven't talked to either of them since Lilo's birthday.
That was over a month ago.
It upsets me that they haven't even tried to contact me.
Add in the fact that this stupid history project has left me with many sleepless nights.
And boom you get a very grouchy girl.
"I'm ready," I push the door open causing both guys to jump in surprise.
"Good," Pipper grins "let's go."
"Oh I'm not going," I say. "I just got ready for school that's all."
"Bair," Pipper insists. "We should go together and take a seat. You don't have to talk or anything."
"No," I run down the stairs and make my way into the kitchen opening the cabinet with the coffee cups.
"You haven't gone to support group," a voice says and I turn to see Vincent standing by the fridge glaring at me.
How does he. . . . . PIPPER!
"He told you," I chuckle angrily. "Look it's not any of your business what I do or don't do."
"It wouldn't be," he says "if you'd tell Josh what's happening then he'd have to worry about it."
"I'm not telling him," I glare at Vincent.
"Tell me what?" Josh ask, a hurt look on his face. I can see Pipper standing next to him looking at me like I'm in some big ass trouble.
Crap.
Crap. Crap.
Crap. Crap. Crap.
"Morning," Alex walks into the kitchen a huge grin on his face before he notices the tension. "What's wrong?"
Quadruple crap.
Too many craps to count.
"Nothing," I say trying my best to come up with a good lie.
"Let's go Bair," Pipper smiles and I nod.
"So you're not going to tell me?" Josh ask a painful expression on.
"Tell you what?" Alex asks looking around the room confused. "What is he talking about shorty?"
"Just tell them kitten," Vincent rolls his eyes "it's not a big deal. You talked to me about it."
It's not a big deal.
"Shut up Vincent," I growl. "I talked to you and look where it got me."
"Bair," Pipper puts his hand on my shoulder "you don't need to tell them anything."
"And you," I push his hand off me. "You told Vincent about the group."
"He figured it out," he defends himself.
"What is happening?" Alex asks.
"Look I only came because Vincent texted me to," Josh says annoyed and I glare at Vincent.
He texted him to.
He knew he would walk in.
"You cornered me," I shout. "You knew he'd walk in so you brought up the subject."
"Kitten-" he walks towards me but I move back.
"My name is Elliana," I say tears forming at the corner of my eyes. "I can't believe you forced this situation on me. Maybe you don't think it's a big deal Vincent, but it is to me. To me it's the most difficult thing I've ever gone through and I don't talk about it."
"Elliana," he runs his hand through his hair. "I just thought you should talk about it with everyone."
"Like you talk about Janet," I spit out bitterly and he flinches. "Or how you talk about getting home late at night. Or about your family because I haven't heard anything. So screw you Vincent. You don't get to tell me what I talk about or don't talk about."
"Ellia-" he begins, but I cut him off.
"Fix your own damn life," I say in a low menacing voice "before you get involved in mine."
With that said I storm out the kitchen and the house.
* * *
"Why are you here Elliana?" Victor asks as soon as I walk in. He's barely setting everything up for support group.
"I don't know," I shrug. "I guess I didn't have anywhere else to go."
"What do you want to talk about?" Victor asks taking a seat.
"They found out," I take seat next to him.
"Your roommates?" he asks and I nod. "So you told them about Lilo?"
"Not exactly," I take a deep breath. "They don't know about Lilo. What happened was that me and Vincent, one of my roommates, were talking and Josh, my other roommate, overheard me saying that I didn't want to tell him."
"So he walked in asking what you hadn't told him, right?" He asks and I chuckle.
"Exactly," I nod. "Him and my third roommate walked in."
"So you told them?" He asks and I shake my head.
"No," I say. "I found out Vincent had planned Josh to walk in which he thought would have forced me to tell them everything. So I got upset and left without telling them anything."
"And you did that because you were mad or because it was easier?"
Because I was mad.
"He had no right to do that," I reply. "I should decide when to tell them not Vincent."
"Wasn't it easier just to tell them?" He wonders. "I mean they had already heard you."
Damn it.
He's right.
"It was," I nod "but I was so mad that I just left."
"You sure you were mad and not scared," he says. "It's okay to feel scared."
Was I scared?
"I don't know," I put face in my hands. "I didn't know what to say and it was all three of them at the same time. I just..."
"Freaked out," he finishes my sentence and I look up. "You panicked and figured it was easier to leave then face the situation."
I did.

"How are you?" Taylor asks as I walk out of school, a big grin on her face.
"I'm good Taylor," I smile. "How are you and Pipper?"
"I don't know," she shrugs. "I think he's hiding something from me. . . .do you think he's using again?"
"I hope not," I exhale. "I talked to Bratt recently and he told to tell Pipper he had visited. I don't know what he's involved in."
"I just don't want to get involved," she shakes her head. "I like Pipper, but maybe Alex is right."
"What did Alex say?" I ask and she frowns.
"That he's more trouble than he's worth."

"You totally cheated," Mick laughs and I shake my head.
"No I didn't," I laugh. "I'm just good at card games."
So we played a round of speed and I won. The only thing is we made a bet.
I know, I know, I make too many bets.
In the bet we made if I lost I had to dye my hair purple, but if I won Mick had to wax one of his legs.
"Pay up buddy," I smile as I grab my waxing utensils.
"This is going to hurt like a bitch," Mick looks away as I rub the sticky dark liquid on his leg.
"As soon as it dries," I mock him.
"Oh god," Mick whines. "How much is it going to hurt? A lot or a lot, a lot?
"Hmm," I think about it. "A lot, a lot. You ready?"
"I'm ready," he holds his breath and I begin pulling off the black, now elastic solid waxing material, from his hairy legs.
"Son of a-" he grabs a pillow and begins biting it down.
"You're such a baby," I laugh hysterically as tears fall down his eyes.
"This hurts," he shoves me playfully. "Now pull it all off."
"Okay," I nod trying to hold back a laugh and begin pulling the waxing material off again before laughing. "This is just too funny."
"Why did I let you do this to me?" He asks laughing.
"We both agreed we had a lot of problems," I laugh. "So we
decided to forget about them by doing something fun."
"This doesn't sound as fun anymore," he chuckles. "Just do it and we get can it over with."
"Okay," I prepare myself to pull if off, but stop. "I can't Mick."
"Damn it Elliana," he yells. "Please just do it already."
"Fine," I nod. "On the count of three I'll do it."
"Okay," he agrees quickly biting down on the pillow again.
"One," I grin raising one finger in the air.
"Three," I raise three fingers in the air and rip the entire waxing material off his leg pulling all the hairs with it.
"Holy mother of hell," Mick cries. "Don't you know that three comes after two?"
"It's better when you don't expect it," I chuckle as I throw the wax and hairs into a bag.
"You suck," he sticks his tongue out at me.
"You swallow," I stick my tongue out at him in return.
Childish, we know, but it's fun.
"Another round?" He asks at the same time as someone knocks on the door.
"Sure, set it up," I say as I walk towards the door and open it.
There are the three devil boys holding up a gigantic bucket of ice cream.
"Movies?" Alex asks and I move out of the way to let them in.
"I should go," Mick walks out the house. "Thanks for having me over."
"Call me if you ever need another good waxing," I chuckle before closing the door.
"So movies?" Josh asks and I shake my head.
"How about I tell you guys everything instead?" I say nervously.
