Suddenly, the pieces fell into place for Ellinor as she stared at Theoâs face, which was looking more and more familiar. She was shocked.
Turned out she had met him a long time ago and had even saved him under special circumstances.
She remembered that back then, he looked very young. He was a frail but pretty boy.
He was pale and weak from an injury and poisoning, but still very handsome.
Now that he had matured, his body had become stronger, and his demeanor had become colder.
No wonder she didnât recognize him before!
Theo frowned as she kept staring at him, âWhy are you staring at me like that? Is there something on my face?â
Ellinor blinked before nodding. Yeah, thereâs something.â
His eyebrows raised, âWhat is it? Help me get it off.â
Ellinor shook her head, âCanât.â
Theo was puzzled. âWhat is it?â
Ellinor said sincerely, âYour handsomeness!â
Theo was taken aback for a moment before laughing.
Then he leaned in close, his nose almost touching hers, âReally? So you think Iâm handsome? Donât you want to give me a kiss?â
Ellinor fell silent.
Theo was like a devil who always wanted to kiss her. It seemed like that was all he ever thought about.
Before Ellinor could refuse, Theo was already leaning in.
Belinda, who was driving in front, couldnât take it anymore, and she cleared her throat in protest, âTheo, Iâm just listening to some music; my ears are perfectly fine! Canât you stop this? Save it for when you get home!â
Ellinor was taken aback; she had forgotten Belinda was in front. She quickly pushed the man away, straightened her clothes, and kept her distance.
Theo was displeased when he saw Ellinor move away from him, and he glared at Belinda in the front seat, âKeep your eyes on the road, not on us!â
Belinda stuck out her tongue at the rearâview mirror, âOkay!â
The Blanchet villa.
After dropping Theo and Ellinor off at the Blanchet villa, Belinda drove off.
As soon as Theo entered the house with Ellinor, he saw the mess all over the place. His face darkened instantly.
There was water everywhere; a few vases were broken in the living room, and shards were all over the floor.
There were no servants in the house, and it didnât look like anyone had cleaned up.
âWhere is everyone?â He asked in a deep voice.
Devin hurriedly came out of the kitchen, âMr. Blanchet, Ellinor, youâre back.â
Theoâs face was grim, âWhat happened?â
Devin explained helplessly, âMr. Blanchet, Ms. Veronica was cleaning and she accidentally made this mess.â
Theo frowned, âShe was cleaning?â
Devin nodded, âYes, Mr. Blanchet.â
Theo was a neat freak and couldnât stand the mess in the house, so he asked coldly. âWho let her do this? Does she even know how to clean?â
Theoâs attitude scared Devin, âIt was Ellinor who asked Ms. Veronica to do it.â
Theo looked displeased, after a moment of silence, he turned to Ellinor beside him and started to tuck her stray hair behind her ear, âEllinor, why did you ask her to do this? Does she even know how to clean?â
Devinâs eyes widened in surprise. He felt like he had just stepped into a new world.
