Ellinor said, “You don’t need to worry about what he’s into. You don’t need to try to charm him anymore because me and Theo are a thing now.”

Belinda looked surprised. “Ellinor You and Theo are back together? When did this happen?”

Ellinor nodded, glanced at the time, then towards the Blanchet Corporation’s front door, “Yesterday.”

Belinda said. “So it’s just been a day? But making up is a good thing I can breathe easy for now, otherwise, I was worried Theo might fall into depression.”

Ellinor responded, “You might be exaggerating how fragile Theo is. Even if we didn’t make up, he’s a grown man. He wouldn’t wallow in self pity”

Belinda said eamestly, “He would’ He really would. Ellinor, Theo cares about you a lot; trust me.

Without you, he’d be depressed. So, promise me you won’t leave him again.”

Ellinor still thought Belinda was overdoing it. She propped her cheek on her arm on the table, gazing at the Blanchet Building, lost in thought.

She didn’t doubt her place in Theo’s heart, but sometimes she felt puzzled.

“Cough, cough.” Ellinor almost choked on nothing, looking at Belinda with confusion.

Belinda couldn’t understand why Ellinor was looking at her so surprised; she already felt embarrassed, and this just made her feel more awkward.

“What’s wrong, Ellinor?”

It took Ellinor a moment to recover. She frowned, “Nothing, what do you see in Chase?”

Belinda thought of him and unconsciously had a love-struck expression, “He’s hot! He smiles a lot, and it’s really cute and refreshing. He’s patient and always gentle when talking to staff. He’s totally my dream guy! Ellinor, honestly, the moment I saw Chase, I was already leaning towards him. If you really married Chase, I would even understand why you dumped Theo”

Ellinor pinched the bridge of her nose, “That’s because you don’t know the real Chase. I suggest you find someone else, Chase isn’t for you!”

Belinda looked confused, “Why? Ellinor, do you think I’m not good enough for your friend?”

Ellinor replied, “No, you’re more than enough for him; he’s not good enough for you.”
