Thinking about her time in the joint for a crime she didnât commit, Haillie glared at Ellinor and scoffed at her, âYou really thought Iâd rot in jail, huh? Ellinor, you should know that Patricia is my best bud. She wouldnât just stand by and watch me take the fall!â
âReally?â Ellinor chuckled nonchalantly Haillie fumed even more at Ellinorâs indifference, âEllinor you think your little scheme fooled everyone?

Haillie eyed Ellinor, who was busy with her paperwork, warily scrutinizing her, trying to figure out her game, then asked guardedly, âEllinor, are you trying to snag my Balfour because youâre not content with your ordinary life after Theo dumped you?â
