“You guys already ordered?” Jacob said with an eager grin. “Then I’ll order some of Belinda’s favorite dishes.”

As Jacob ordered, Belinda’s mind was elsewhere, mulling over what was going on.

Just before she and Jacob arrived, Theo and Ellinor were still talking. But as soon as they showed up, Theo and Ellinor stopped their conversation.

Theo had a stern face, as if someone owed him a lot of money. Ellinor was staring out the window.

This couldn’t go on!

Veronica was about to jump for joy. She immediately replied, “Where are you guys? Where did Theo find Ellinor?”

Belinda responded, “We’re at a restaurant now. Ellinor showed up on her own, and Theo happened to run into her.”

Veronica quickly typed. “He should be bringing her home soon, right? I need to go tell Grandma the good news ASAP!”

“I don’t think so. They’re sitting together to clear up some things. Ellinor’s attitude is really negative.

She clearly doesn’t want to talk to Theo.” Veronica frowned. “Clear up what? The baby in Ellinor’s belly is my brother’s. She should be giving birth soon, right? Why are they still fussing around?” Belinda sent a helpless emoji. “You’re asking me? I don’t want to see this outcome either. That’s why I contacted you. I hope you can bring Marissa to find us. Only Marissa’s presence can put pressure on Theo to apologize to Ellinor.”

Veronica felt like her brother was being treated unfairly. “Apologize? My brother hasn’t done anything wrong. Why should he be the one to apologize? It was Ellinor who left without a word. She’s been running away from home for half a year on a whim! She should be the one to apologize, right?”

Belinda was a bit helpless. “Veronica, do you want them to make up or not?”

Even though Veronica was a bit hot-headed, she really hoped that Ellinor would come back.
