As a goddess, Du Yu Shu never thought that not being afraid of ghosts would yield any benefits.

Today, she felt like it is the most important advantage.

They walked hand in hand as they explored the castle. Although they did not win, just doing this was enough to make them happy.

Du Yu Shu felt that today was a wonderful day.

However, this wonderful feeling vanished at the dinner party.

Du Yu Shu couldn’t remember why she and Ye Jing An quarreling in the first place. The number of times they quarreled are very high, but it was not as fierce as it was today.

After they finished filming for the day, they went back to the hotel. Due to other commitments, the two guests have already left, leaving only the six permanent cast members to film tomorrow. Several people proposed to have a dinner party. In the end, they picked Wang Xiao Chen’s room to celebrate in and called the guest services to bring up their dinner.

Having filmed two episodes together, the six members have gotten close. Coupled with Wang Xiao Chen and Meng Yun Rui’s lively attitude, Yang Yu Bo and Dong Hua Nian were also able to let loose and played some games and drink wine. Because Du Yu Shu can’t hold her liquor well, she found an excuse to hide out. Although Meng Yun Rui jested her with a few words, he didn’t pursue the matter further. It is said that Du Yu Shu didn’t even drink at the wrap-up party so, in the end, Du Yu Shu smoothly escaped out of the room.

She didn’t hurry back to her room. She found a windowsill and looked out into the night. Most of the cities’ night scenes are like this, fully illuminated by bright lights that even they can’t clearly see the night sky.

She stood there alone for a while until a figure appeared behind her. Ye Jing An’s low and magnetic voice sounded in her ear, “You’re even refined and elegant when just hiding out here looking at the stars?”

“Yes ah. Baby, did you cry when you couldn’t find mommy?” Du Yu Shu casually retorted back. She slightly opened the window and closed her eyes as felt the outside air.

“Heh.” Ye Jing An chuckled. When he saw that Du Yu Shu seemed to be enjoying the evening breeze, Ye Jing An opened the window wider. The summer winds aren’t very cooling but only seemed to be blowing dry air. He frowned and left the window slightly ajar.

“Ye Jing An,” Du Yu Shu yawned and asked, “You’re really afraid of ghosts?”

“Of course I’m afraid of ghosts.”

“Oh.” She continued to look out the window and didn’t say anything.

After pondering for a moment, Ye Jing An softly said, “When I was young, I got locked inside a small grocery store. It was very dark. I called out for a very long time but no one came to save me.”

“From then on, I developed a fear. I hate dark and gloomy places as well as small spaces.”

A flash of surprise passed by Du Yu Shu’s eyes, as if she did not expect him to tell her this, then whispered, “I’m sorry.”

“There’s nothing to be sorry about.” Ye Jing An casually said, “Besides, it happened in my childhood.”

Du Yu Shu closed the window, “Do you want to go back? They must’ve finished drinking by now.”

Ye Jing An looked at her and asked, “Du Yu Shu, do you know Xia Ning Hua?”

After he said that, Ye Jing An felt like he had a headache and rubbed his head, why kind of question is that? All three of them worked together before, how would they not know each other?

“Of course,” Du Yu Shu oddly said, “We worked together on 《Sake Kings》 and later on we kept in touch. Also, a few days ago, she was on the hot search.”

Du Yu Shu paused and indifferently continued, “Isn’t she your rumored girlfriend?”

“I said,” Ye Jing An looked at her and repeated word for word, “Why do you trust her and not me?”

“Am I not worth your trust?”

“What nonsense are you spouting?” Du Yu Shu was confused by what he is trying to say, “Did you drink? Are you drunk?”

“Du Yu Shu, we’re obviously together, but why do I feel like the distance between us is the same as before,” Ye Jing An frowned, “No, it is farther than before.”

“Why don’t you want to publicize it? There is no harm in doing it but why don’t you want to do it? Do you not want to publicize your relationship or….”

Ye Jing An’s eyes cooled, “What do you mean?”

“Exactly what I said.” Du Yu Shu coldly smiled, “If you like someone, do you always express your disdain for her to the media? If you like someone, do you always quarrel with her and let the entire entertainment industry know that you two are on bad terms?”

“Publicize our relationship? Who would believe it?”

“The media always makes groundless accusations, do you believe it?” Ye Jing An coldly asked, “Are you doubting me?”

“I was only asking,” Du Yu Shu coldly laughed, “Didn’t you also ask me this?”

They looked at each other as if they are in a confrontation.

“Shu Shu” His voice was softer but there is still some unlying rigidness. He took a deep breath and continued, “Do get worked up okay?”

“Let’s calmly talk this out, don’t get worked up.”

“Let’s all calm down. We are trying to solve a problem, not create one.”

“Then tell me your answer,” Du Yu Shu coldly laughed, “Talk, give me an answer.”

Ye Jing An froze. He closed his eyes and slowly asked, “What about you?”

They fell into a long awkward silence. No one wants to speak first.

“Hey! What are you two doing here?” Meng Yun Rui’s voice interrupted. He seemed to have drunk too much, his words were slurred and he didn’t seem to notice anything wrong with them. “We waited for you for a long time, why didn’t you guys show up? We were all looking for you. Quickly come back and drink!”

When the two of them ignored him, Meng Yun Rui finally noticed that there is something wrong. He looked at Ye Jing An and Du Yu Shu who are coldly glaring at each other, not sparing a glance at himself. Meng Yun Rui wants to cough up blood, the wine he drank earlier threatening to rise.

“Good gracious, what are you two great gods doing? Us small group of shrimps waited for you two until our backs hurt. Xiao Chen got two more bottles of wine. Let’s go, I won’t end the night until I’m drunk!”

Meng Yun Rui wanted to pull Ye Jing An back but couldn’t. He just awkwardly stood there.

Yang Yu Bo and Dong Hua Nian also spotted the three of them from afar. Yang Yu Bo laughed, “Aiya, what are you guys doing here? Are you trying to escape? We already said, no one gets to go back until they’re drunk!”

Yang Yu Bo and Dong Hua Nian both seemed to have drunk quite a bit but Ye Jing An and Du Yu Shu also ignored them.

Before Yang Yu Bo and Dong Hua Nian realized something is wrong, Ye Jing An pulled on Du Yu Shu and whispered, “Let's go back first.”

“Yes ah, alcohol obliterates any hostility. Let’s go and have a good time!” Meng Yun Rui laughed and chimed in.

Yang Yu Bo also went to grab onto Du Yu Shu and laughed, “Tonight, we don’t go home until we’re all drunk. Yu Shu, come, let’s out drink the four of them. We drink red wine, let them drink white wine!”

“You’re mean.” Meng Yun Rui laughed. They didn’t mention Ye Jing An and Du Yu Shu’s grudge and only talked about drinking.

Du Yu Shu escaped Yang Yu Bo’s clutches and pried away Ye Jing An’s hand. “I have something to do so I’ll go first”

She didn’t even look back.
