âYou're cocky. I'll take you down a notch!â
Instead of balling his fists, he made his fingers look like claws. Bonnie recognized his stance and prepared to fend off his attacks. She blocked his swipes, and he clawed at her again. However, Bonnie bent down and threw an uppercut.
Micah staggered a few steps back and looked at her in shock.
âThatâs a shadowboxing technique!â Trystan instinctively walked to the side of the ring and stared at Bonnie.
âDonât stop.â Bonnie wagged her finger at Micah.
âHow dare she taunt me!"
Micah reddened with anger but knew he had to preserve his honor. He charged at Bonnie again, this time not holding back. To everyoneâs surprise, the duo traded several more blows before Micah suffered a fate similar to Jamal's.
Bonnieâs punch also sent Micah flying out of the ring. She glanced at Trystan and his gang, saying, âTaking you guys on one at a time is too time-consuming. Iâll take you all on at once.â
âHow dare you underestimate us!â Trystan was furious.
âThatâs not it. I have something to attend to soon, and you're wasting my time,â Bonnie said truthfully.
Some of Trystanâs men could no longer take it. One said, âTrystan, letâs take her on together. Weâll win because we outnumber her.â
However, Trystan raised his hand. His instincts told him none of them were a match for Bonnie.
âWhat will I do if she beats all of us even if we outnumber her? We'll never recover from such humiliation . Then, how will we recruit more students?"
Trystan looked at Ged and wondered where he found such a formidable fighter. Meanwhile, the latter grinned, asking, âIsnât my fighter fantastic? Do any of you want some action? If no one does it, Iâll take it as a surrender.
âDonât forget to get a shiny bulldozer to knock down your boxing club.
I'll foot the bill if youâre unwilling to pay for a bulldozer.
Trystan said smilingly, âI agree that none of us are a match for her.
Still, youâll need more than a formidable coach to run a successful boxing gym. That means having a coach as powerful as she is is pointless.
âIf youâre so tough, we can do another match. Letâs have a five-on-five fight instead. Best two out of three. What do you say?â
âYou're just weaseling out of our initial bet! We agreed that youâd bulldoze your boxing club if she won. You canât back out of the bet now.
You canât be that shameless ,â Ged palmed his forehead and added, â1 feel sorry for you, Tryslan.â
Trystan balled his fists and said through gritted teeth, âIt was just a verbal agreement. We didnât sign a contract, so it doesnât count.â
âYou little shit!â
âSo, will you agree to a team fight, Ged? If you donât, we'll bug you every day. We'll be here for weeks and drive away your potential students.â
âThatâs outrageous!â Ged felt tempted to use his background to intimidate Trystan and the gang.
However, he was never one to oppress people with his family name. After all, there were rules and laws for a reason, even in combat.
The tension between Ged and Trystan reached a boiling point when Bonnie said, âFine, weâll agree on a five- on - five.â
Everyone turned to look at her in shock.
âThis time...â Bonnie looked into Trystanâs eyes fiercely. â...We'll signa contract.â
âDeal!â He readily agreed.
Ged approached Bonnie, looking distressed.
