Chapter 355:
By ten-thirty the next morning, he was in his living room, still pondering.
Feeling that something was missing, Rhys finally decided to include a piece of property that Lonnie and Brenton highly valued. Only then did he decide to bring the gifts over.
However, as soon as Rhys arrived at the Sanderson familyâs gate, he was immediately thrown out, along with the gifts, before he could even step onto the property.
Kane reported back to Lonnie, saying, âFollowing your orders, Iâve escorted Mr. Green off the premises.
He claimed his visit was to propose marriage, asserting that the previous breakup was a misunderstanding.
Heâs asking for a chance to explain.â
Lonnieâs expression turned dark with rage.
âA misunderstanding? What sort of misunderstanding could it be? Did Rhys think he could treat Harlee as something disposable?!â
Lonnie huffed, âGo and tell all the staff that if any member of the Green family shows up again, even if itâs Nathaniel, kick them out! I have to defend my precious daughter! What is Rhys thinking? Breaking off an engagement only to propose again? He can keep dreaming!â
Kane shared the displeasure toward the Green family.
Harlee was such a decent person, and yet the Green family had the audacity to push her into a public scandal. It was unacceptable.

Over the past month, Harlee had endured harsh criticism, and Kane had even heard that fool Etta mocking Harlee. Now it was their turn to stand tall.
âYes, Iâll pass on the message immediately. No one from the Green family shall pass,â Kane said.
At the Garcia familyâs estate, Anthony stood at the gate, frequently checking his watch and pacing.
Finally, just before one in the afternoon, he spotted his idol.
Harleeâs car gradually approached the gate.
Anthony hurried to open the car door for her, showing humility and respect.
As the car door swung open, Harlee emerged leisurely, tossing the car keys into Anthonyâs waiting hands. Today, she was dressed entirely in a black tank dress, a baseball cap, sunglasses, and a mask, covering herself completely.
At first glance, she was nearly unrecognizable.
Anthony passed the keys to a nearby bodyguard before bowing slightly to Harlee. With a respectful tone, he said, âMiss Sanderson, youâve arrived. Mr. Garcia is expecting you inside.â
Harlee nodded and walked through the gate. This was a place she had often visited in the past. Whenever the Gill family denied her meals, she would escape here.
But since she took on the role of system designer and debugger at the National Aerospace Agency and started gaining influence internationally, her visits had become infrequent. Still, she remembered her way around.
