Chapter 351:
âSeventy-thirty split, seventy for me and thirty for you,â Harlee stated with a smirk, her eyes glinting with mischief.
âAre you trying to rob me?â Sprague said.
With one hand cradling her cheek, Harlee nodded without a trace of doubt.
Sprague burst out laughing, though clearly agitated.
âFine, you win.
As if Iâve ever won a single dispute against you. Seventy-thirty it is, but you have to have those fighter jet systems ready in a month!â
âItâs a deal!â Harlee had intended to finish the systems within that timeframe anyway, given the dire circumstances in Uwhor.
Perplexed, Anthony eavesdropped. Profit-sharing? Fighter jet systems? He felt as bewildered as if it were his first day on the job.
But waitâ¦
Fighter jet systemsâ¦
Could Harlee actually be the brilliant aerospace engineer he had revered for so long?
At that moment, Anthonyâs eyes sparkled with realization.
Rhys had just stepped out of the shower when he received a call from Harlee. Seeing her name on his phone screen sparked a mix of surprise and happiness in his eyes. Wrapped in a towel, Rhys leaned back against the wall.

He looked down, his eyelashes fluttering slightly as he tapped the phone screen with his slender fingers.
His voice was deep and resonant as he answered the call.
âMiss Sanderson?â
Harlee got straight to the point, suggesting they meet for a meal and asking if Rhys was free.
Rhysâ eyebrow lifted, his voice filled with a hint of eagerness and anticipation.
âYes⦠Shall we meet at the Grand Oak?â
âYes.â
Rhys was just about to respond when the call ended with a series of beeps.
He laughed softly.
After a relaxed hair-drying session, Rhys dressed in a dark gray suit and checked his reflection in the mirror. Remembering the matching sneakers he had with Harlee, he decided instead on a casual white T-shirt and black cargo pants.
He put on his watch and made his way directly to the private room at the Grand Oak.
On his way, Patrick called to report that the hospital had noticed signs that Hamilton was waking up. Rhys instructed Patrick to remain there and update him immediately if Hamilton regained consciousness.
Meanwhile, after wrapping up a âprofit-sharingâ discussion with Sprague, Harlee left with a bag of coffee beans.
Before leaving, Harlee noticed a complete change in Anthonyâs attitude toward her.
