Chapter 237:
At Baythorn University, Harlee was acquainted with only one person, Willis.
However, today, he had been unexpectedly taken to a neighboring city by Callum. Thus, Harlee had to disregard the slanderous posts and make her way to the auditorium to present her lecture on the new aerospace mechanical system.
As Harlee made her way to the auditorium, inside, three hundred students from the Aerospace Mechanical Engineering Department were buzzing with excitement, discussing the upcoming lecture about the latest developments in mechanical engineering.
Dorsey Flores, the departmentâs top student, stood at the microphone and said, âFolks, shortly, a national aerospace mechanical engineer will present the latest system to us. Mr. Bates has pointed out that this lecture will be even more insightful than last monthâs. I encourage everyone to engage fully.â
From the back row, Kaysen Jenkins, a student in the Aerospace Mechanical Engineering Department, voiced his skepticism loudly, âInsightful, sure! Iâve heard this lecturer is barely older than us and has questionable academic credentials! Dorsey, youâve seen the school forum posts, right? Our lecturerâs lack of a college degree has been leaked.
Are we really going to learn about the latest systems from someone like that? Weâll be the laughingstock of other departments!â
âUgh, tell me about it,â another student chimed in.
âOn my way here, not only were we mocked by other departments at our school, but those from East Shores University also taunted us, claiming we were foolish to attend a lecture by someone who never went to college.â
âDonât remind me,â another added.

âThey joked that we came just to see a pretty face and pick up fashion tips, completely belittling us.â
âBut this lecturer was personally invited by Mr. Bates,â Dorsey countered.
âI believe she must be remarkable, not like what those posts suggest.â
âRight,â another student agreed.
âSomeone spotted our lecturer leaving the National Aerospace Agency yesterday.
How could someone without genuine skills manage that? Plus, I heard sheâs exceptionally attractive and stylish.â
âIâve been excited about this all morning,â one student said.
âHa, you girls are so shallow,â Kaysen snorted.
âWeâre here to study aerospace mechanics, not to stare at a pretty face.â
Another student quickly added, âYeah, Kaysen is right.
Good looks wonât help us pass exams or end up marrying Kaysen!â
âGet lost,â Kaysen retorted, causing the room to burst into laughter.
Just then, Coulson, who was rarely seen on campus, entered through the doorway, surprising everyone.
âCoulson, youâre here for the lecture too?â someone asked.
