Chapter 1102:
âLook after yourself,â Lonnie said before ending the video call.
Lonnieâs concern wasnât for Rhysâ well-being.
He knew Harlee would ensure Rhysâ care.
He was simply worried that Harlee might be neglecting her own needs.
At that moment, Harlee realized she was tearing up. She quickly ended the call and sought solace in Tonyaâs embrace, sobbing freely. She continued to reveal her deepest vulnerabilities only to Tonya.
Jose slumped, visibly aging as the conversation unfolded.
âJose, why donât you rest in the room for a bit?â Harlee suggested.
Jose gave Harlee a loaded glance, his mouth opening as if to speak, then he merely sighed and replied, âAlright.â Burdened and heavy-hearted, he exited the study.
After a while, the sound of knocking at the door preceded Christopherâs entrance.
He had been waiting outside Rhysâ room for quite some time. With an urgent report to make, he entered with a grave demeanor.
âHarlee, Tonya mentioned sheâs heading to the lab to prepare some medicine after she finishes up with Mr. Green.â
Harlee checked the message on her phone and responded with a slight nod, âUnderstood.â
âAnd⦠Mr. Green leapt out the window,â Christopher added.
He had thought to pursue Rhys immediately but decided it was wiser to report back first.
Christopher was aware that since Tonyaâs and Robbieâs arrival, the villa had been surrounded by hidden experts.

Even if Rhys tried to run, he would be closely monitored, ensuring no serious harm would come to him.
Harlee, maintaining her composure, looked up at Christopher.
âLet him take some time to himself.
Heâs still getting to grips with this world and needs space to adjust.â
After his memory loss, Rhys recognized no one, and everything around him felt completely foreign. It seemed more beneficial to let him wander and settle his thoughts, rather than overwhelm him with information.
âUnderstood.â Christopher, comforted by her assurance, nodded. Yet, he hadnât anticipated that Rhysâ brief exploration would trigger memories only from his tenth year.
Rhys had wandered through the villa grounds and eventually rested on a roadside bench. When he woke up, his memories were stuck at age ten, leaving him unaware of anything that had happened since.
Despite reverting to a childlike state, he managed to stay calm amidst the unexpected change. It wasnât until Harleeâs team noticed his unusual behavior and escorted him back to the villa that he began to lose his composure.
Bang! In the living room, Rhys lashed out, kicking objects in a burst of confusion.
However, the two stoic men in black who had been assigned to him restrained him with a mix of firmness and gentleness.
