Jason's POV

"LISA!? Lisa, what happened?" I shouted once I heard what sounded like the phone falling to the ground. The line went quiet, and I could only hear the sound of a trunk closing and a car speeding off.

"What happened?" Justin asked frantically from the backseat. I looked over to Dylan who had just as much as a scared look on his face as I probably did.

"Annalisa!" Dylan shouted. I could feel my heart racing twice as much as it was before. I quickly arrived at where Lisa described she was but didn't see her. What I did see was Jacobs phone on the floor face down. I picked it up and the call was still going on.

At that realization, my heart dropped. My little sister was just kidnapped.  "W-what happened? Where did she go?" Justin asked. Dylan went around the building shouting her name, but she wasn't here.

I held the bridge of my nose to reframe myself from crying. I couldn't do that right now. I needed to find her first. Dylan came from inside the building with his hands on his head. "She's not here," he said out of breath. "Thanks, Dylan, that's obvious," Justin replied.

Dylan glared at him and it looked like they were about to fight. "You two stop! Get in the car."

I went back in the car followed by Justin and Dylan. From the call, she said that Veronica was home. So that was the only place left to go. I immediately sped off to our home which wasn't very far.

"I swear to God whoever did this to her," Dylan mumbled from his seat. I looked over at him and gave him a reassuring nod. I had to keep it together. Meanwhile, Justin was freaking out in the back.

"What if we never find her? What if the person who took her...what if he?"

"Justin stop. Don't think like that. We're going to find her," I said. I tried to make myself sound as calm as possible. But that was near impossible.

"But what if?-"

"-Would you stop saying that!?" Dylan shouted. "We're going to find her. Stop saying we won't. We're going to find her."

Justin didn't say anything else. I could only hear his soft crying. I quickly pulled into our driveway and turned to face Dylan. "Okay Dylan, I'm gonna go inside and you need to drive off. You cant come in." I said to him. By the look on his face, I already knew what was coming next.

"Are you crazy? Why wouldn't I come in? I'm going in," he said. "No, Dylan, you heard the call. It's not safe."

"Jason, I don't care about my safety," Dylan said about ready to get out of the car. I forced him back. "Well I do, so just do what I said."

"No, what if Lisa's in there?" Dylan asked. "If she is it's still not safe for the both of you to come inside. But you can help by driving off and calling 911, I need to help Jacob."

I got out of the car and Dylan reluctantly got into the driver's seat. "I promise everything is going to be okay," I said to Dylan once I noticed the tears forming his eyes. He simply nodded and I gave him room to leave. Once I was sure they were gone. I went inside.

I quietly opened the door and was met with a gun in my face. "You're going to do everything I say if you want your dear sister to stay alive," Veronica said.

She looked like a walking zombie. Something major happened in her life from the last time we saw her.

"Well isn't it nice to see you again," I said dryly. I wish she would just disappear but she never gets the message. She was too stubborn to just leave us alone.

She led me to the living room where I almost fell over. Lisa was on the couch opposite Jacob, but she was...knocked out? I couldn't tell from where I was if she was breathing or not. I could feel my heart rate pick up and quickly started to go over to her. "Don't do that," Veronica said still pointing the gun at me.

"You think I care if you shoot me?" I asked glaring at her.  "Jason," Jacob said from the couch. She seemed a little taken back by that. "Then I'll shoot her," she said now pointing the gun at Lisa. "You wouldn't do that. You wouldn't shoot your daughter."

"That's the thing. It's pretty clear she isn't my daughter anymore," she said. I wasn't sure if she was serious or not. She looked so crazy at this point there was no way she could know what she was saying or doing and be ok with it.

I looked at Lisa and backed up. Whether she was serious or not I wasn't going to test it. I couldn't risk Lisa's life any more than it already was.

"She's alive," Jacob said. "I made sure." He wouldn't even take his eyes off of Lisa. I was so relieved to hear him say that. Those short moments when I thought she was missing was the most horrific moments of my life. It felt like a lifetime.

I also noticed another guy who was standing not too far from where Lisa was laying. I hadn't even seen him before. I immediately recognized him as the stalker. Why was he here?

"Why hello?" He said when he saw me looking at him. I simply glared at him. "When we are out of this, you are the first person I'm coming for," I said pointing at him.

"And why not your mother?" He asked with a smirk on his face. "Shut up Isaac," Veronica said. "Put these on," she said handing me a pair of handcuffs. I scoffed at her but took them nonetheless.

"Go on. To the table," she said. I handcuffed the table then my hand. I waved my hand to show her that it was on. She stiffly nodded then backed up. "And don't even think of anything or you'll end up like him," Veronica said motioning to Jacob.

I looked over at him to see a large forming bruise around his eye. "What happened?" I asked. "I tried to take the gun from her," he said blatantly.

"You couldn't take the gun from her?" I asked in disbelief. That didn't seem true. Jacob was a police in training. He could have easily taken the gun from her.

"He appeared out of nowhere and knocked me out," he said wincing after I touched his eye. He motioned to Isaac.

"So why did you have to bring her here? Hmm?" I asked looking at Veronica. "I couldn't let her get away and alert authorities. And besides, I needed leverage. You two wouldn't dare do anything if it meant your sister's life would be in danger."

I balled my fist because she was right. She knew we wouldn't attempt anything if it meant that Lisa might get hurt.

But she was also too dumb to realize that I had two other siblings. I'm not sure if she saw them or not. "If she suffers any serious damage, I swear you both are going to wish you were already dead," I said.

Isaac, I think his name was gasped. "Is that a threat?" He asked moving closer to Lisa. "Don't touch her!" Jacob shouted.

"Don't worry I'll leave the fun for later," he said winking. If Lisa wasn't there right now I would have killed him long ago. "Pay attention!" Veronica shouted. She seemed on edge. She kept looking out the window then at us to make sure we wouldn't move and she refused to let the gun go even for a second.

"So what are you? Her bodyguard or something?" Jacob asked looking at Issac. "Oh I am a little more than that, but sure, we can say that," he said.

"I don't get it though. Why were you stalking us? You even went as far as to become a fake teacher," I said. Jacob and I both looked at him waiting for an answer. He simply looked at Veronica and raised an eyebrow.

"Sure, it doesn't matter anymore anyway," she said looking back out the window. "Your mother wanted me to keep tabs on you guys. That seemed to be the best way since most of you were in school. And I can keep an eye on oh so precious Lisa."

I closed my eyes and took a deep breath in through my nose. I will definitely deal with him later. "So this is your little spy?" I asked Veronica who didn't even answer.

"Well, and your Father owes me a little bit of cash so I had to make sure he wouldn't try to do anything stupid. I knew he wouldn't once he knew I knew how to get to his daughter," Isaac said.

"So you work with Johnathan?" I asked. How many people related to me did this guy work with? "No, quite the opposite. He was a druggie, I was his supplier, he stopped paying, I demanded cash that's the whole story."

I still didn't get how he was giving us all of that money a few months ago when he couldn't even pay off his debt, unless...

"How long ago was that?" I asked. Isaac stood up from leaning on the wall. "Why does it matter now?" He asked eyeing me.

I decided not to say anything else. I knew all I needed to know now. Johnathan lied to us. He told us he stopped and now we find out the truth. But that wasn't even the worst part. He lied to Lisa. She put so much trust into him. When she finds out she is going to be crushed.

I made eye contact with Jacob and could tell he had pieced together the pieces as well.

Lisa POV

I groaned as I felt the pounding pain from the back of my head. I could hear sounds, yet I couldn't decipher what kind of sound it was. It sounded like talking, but I wasn't sure.

Where am I? What's happening?

Whatever I was laying on was soft, it felt like a cushion. I tried to open my eyes but winced at the bright light. I decided to just keep them shut for a while and focus on my hearing.

It took a little while but everything started to become clearer and clearer until I could make out words of what was being said.

"Lisa, Lisa can you hear me?" Someone asked.

"Stop talking!"

I recognized the second voice to be my moms and instantly froze. Everything was starting to come back. What happened earlier, Mom, the gun. My thoughts instantly went to Jacob. I couldn't believe I had just left him. He could be dead and it would be all my fault.

With that in my mind, I forced myself to open my eyes and adjust it to the light. I looked around a bit and realized we were in the living room. Jason and Jacob were sitting on the couch ahead of me. They were both handcuffed to the side table on either side of them. Jacob had a large bruise forming around his left eye but I was more than relieved see him. He was alive. He was still alive.

I started to sit up but felt a hand push me back down. "Oh you don't want to do that," the person said. I recognized the man in front of me as the same guy from the movies.

The one that pretended to work at my school, the one who has been stalking us.

"Don't. Touch. Her." Jason said.

"Oh don't worry. I won't hurt her....anymore."

So it was him. How did he find me though? I was sure nobody was following me. "Lisa, can you hear me?" Jason asked. I closed my eyes tight in hopes of relieving some of the headaches.

"Lisa?" Jacob said. They both looked so worried and it made me feel even more scared. If my brothers were scared then what hope was there? I had failed at the only job I had to do and that was to go and get help. And where did I end up?

"It's okay, Lisa. Everything is going to be fine," Jason said. I briefly nodded but I am not sure if any of them saw. I felt the back of my head where it hurt the most and it felt wet.

When I pulled my hand back it was covered in red. I suddenly felt like I was going to throw up. "Oh my God, she needs help," Jacob said. His eyes widened at the amount of blood that was on my head and probably on the couch too. "How hard did you hit her?" Jason asked.

"I didn't think it was that hard," the guy above me mumbled."Get me out of these cuffs right now!" Jason said to our mom. "I am not doing that." I was starting to feel worse and the headache was increasingly getting worse.

"Can't you see your daughter needs help!? If you had the smallest part of a heart left your going to let me out of these so that I can help her," Jason said. Mom looked over to the guy standing above me. "Hey, I said I would help you, but murder wasn't in the contract."

"I would listen to him," Jason said. I tuned them out and tried not to focus on the blood. My vision was starting to waver and I shut my eyes to try to help it. Once I opened them I was met with Jason in front of me.

"Stay awake okay sweetie and don't move," he said checking the back of my head. "Jason, I'm scared," I whispered. "I know, I know. And we are going to get out of this, okay?" he whispered back. I simply nodded.

"Look, she needs a medkit or else she is going to bleed out," Jason said to Mom.

"How do I know this isn't a trick?" she responded."Yeah, cause we just whipped up a whole magic show right here right now without you even noticing. Want us to show you the hidden cameras?" Jacob said. He was very angry. She looked genuinely confused after Jacob said that. What is she on?

"Either you get it, or you let Jacob get it?" Jason said. "Well, what about me?" the guy who I still haven't learned the name of said. "Shut up," Jason replied. "I am not uncuffing the both of you. You get it," Mom said.

Jason took a deep breath and turned to face the guy. I'd like to know his name so that I can stop calling him 'the guy'. "It's in the hall bathroom on the right. Top shelf," Jason said to him. "I don't usually like taking orders, but it's only because if she dies I go to prison, that I will listen."

"Just get it!" Jacob said. I just laid there and closed my eyes, willing the pain to go away. "Keep your eyes open sweetie, don't close them okay?" Jason said. I nodded and tried my best to keep them open.

"Where are Dylan and Justin?" I asked. Jason briefly glanced up at Mom then back at me. "They are getting help right now. The police should be here any minute."
