I was sat in Jasons room waiting for him to say something. He called me up to his room late at night, when I should be sleeping. Jacob was also in here. I already knew what this was about, and I am sure he knew that too. So why was he taking so long to speak?

"Um so...Jacob and I spoke about it and we decided that we will...let you date Liam.

Despite already knowing the information, I was still beyond the moon happy. "But there are rules. Lots of rules that you have to follow if you want to keep...dating," Jacob said.

I knew that was coming. "Every time you want to meet with him you have to tell one of us," Jason said. His features seemed set to get a point across. "Yes, and one of us have to be with you," Jacob said. I furrowed my eyebrows at that. "What?" I asked. That sounded quite ridiculous to me.

"There is no debating about this," Jason said seriously. "Ok," I sighed. I guess it would not get better than that. Jacob looked at Jason as if they were communicating telepathically. I could tell whatever they were going to say wouldn't be the most pleasant.

"Lisa, I don't want to have to ask this but have you kissed him?" Jason asked. My eyes went as wide as saucers. I was honestly a little embarrassed that he would ask that. His face was completely serious and he and Jacob were both looking at me intently, waiting for my answer.

"No! I haven't," I said looking down at my lap. My cheeks were probably fiery red. They both visibly relaxed and sighed. "Okay, good cause you're not going to," Jacob said. "Um, how is that your choice?" I asked raising an eyebrow.

"Don't push it," Jason said. "You know it's taking a lot in me right now to allow this. I don't want you to date. But I know I'm gonna have to at some point so..." he trailed off with a sigh and rubbed his hand over his face.

They were finally starting to accept it. Accept that I would start to date. "I don't like that smile on your face," Jacob mumbled. He obviously still didn't like the idea, but honestly, I couldn't care less at the moment.

Jason stood up and clapped his hands. "Anyway, that's all. You can go to sleep now," he said ruffling my hair. I walked his hand away and glared at him.

"If I didn't have a cast on right now I would attack you," I said. I had to try hard to hide the smile already making its way into my face.

Jacob laughed from his spot in Jason's bed. A full on laugh. "I've never heard anything so dumb!" He exclaimed. Jason raised an eyebrow at me with a small smirk forming on his face.

"Oh really?" He asked stalking closer. "Yep," I nodded backing away from him. Jason stopped and rest his hands on his waist. "I think Lisa here needs a lesson," he said to Jacob.

"Yeah, maybe we can knock some brains into her whiles we are at it," Jacob replied. "What do you-" I was cut off by Jason picking me up and putting me on his bed. Jacob held my hands as Jason trapped my feet.

"W-wait no. I didn't actually mean it. I was kidding," I said already knowing what was about to happen.

"Oh well, it's too late," Jason said as he started tickling me nonstop. What just have been only 5 minutes felt like an eternity until Jason finally stopped tickling me.

There were actual tears rolling down my cheeks from how hard I was laughing. "Now I think you know not to say that anymore," he said with a smirk. I got off his bed. "That's torture," I said wiping the tears off of my face.

"It's fun," Jacob said. "Yeah, to you," I said glaring at him. "Anyway you should really get headed to bed now," Jason said standing up from his bed.

He hugged me and kissed my forehead. "Thanks, Jason. You won't regret it," I said into his chest, referring to him letting me date Liam. "Oh, I better not. Also Another thing. You do know what to do if you ever feel uncomfortable in any situation with him right?" he asked looking down at me.

"Yes, yes I know," I groaned out. "But, you don't have to worry about that," I said.  "For his sake, that better be true," Jacob.

"And you will come to me, right? Right away?" Jason asked. I could tell he was really starting to second guess everything. He was searching my eyes almost as if looking any sign of doubt that would tell him not to let me date Liam.

"Yes, besides God himself you will be the first person to know."

"Promise me," he said holding out his pinky. I gave him a look. "Are you serious?" I asked looking up at him.

"Yes, I am. Now promise me." I sighed and connected my pinky with his. "I promise."

"Good. Now goodnight. You still have school tomorrow," he said kissing my forehead. "And where is my hug?" Jacob asked when I started to leave.

I turned around and gave him a hug. "There are you happy now?" I asked looking up at him. "I don't know," he said scratching his chin. I rolled my eyes and started to walk away until Jacob pulled me back.

"Say that I am your number one," he said hugging me. "What, why?" I asked craning my neck to look at him. "Just say it."

"Okay, you are my number one." That seemed to satisfy him as he let me go. "Good. Always remember that," he said with a smile. I nodded. I knew why he wanted me to say that. He wanted that assurance for himself that I wouldn't replace him with Liam, which I would never do.

"Goodnight, love you guys. " I said as I walked out of the room. "Love you too sweetie," they replied back.

I walked into my room and nearly screamed when I saw a figure sitting on my bed. They jumped up quicker than lightning and covered my mouth. "Don't bite me please," the person said as they moved with me to turn on the light.

I was shocked and relieved to see that it was Grayson. "What are you doing here?" I asked. Still in a little shock from earlier.

"I am sleeping over, princess." I scrunched my face up from the nickname. "I think I almost prefer spicy," I said. He opened his mouth to say something, but I cut him off.

"No, please don't say anything. I know why you are in here and I am willing myself to forget everything you said today and pretend like it was either another one of your stupid jokes, or it never happened," I said. He left me so confused and maybe even a little angry.

"You know I am with Liam." He tensed up at the mention of him. "So why would you tell me that?" I asked changing my mind. I needed to find out his reasoning and then forget about the whole thing.

"Because it's true. I wanted to tell you earlier, but-"

"-You found out I am seeing someone already so you decide to tell me then?" I asked cutting him off. "In hindsight, I can see how it would look a little selfish, but-"

"-Yes it is, Grayson. What did you think you would accomplish by telling me that? I would suddenly drop Liam and be with you?"

"..um, yeah?" he said as if it was supposed to be obvious. "You're ridiculous!" I exclaimed. "You know what? You were already invigorating before, but now its times 10. Get out," I said already pushing him to exit my room.

He simply moved to the side so I couldn't push him anymore. "No, Lisa. I want you to think about it."

"I don't need to think about anything."

"He's not what's best for you!"

"And you are? You know, I don't know if it's your arrogant attitude or what? But you can't just swoop in and think I will be dancing for joy to be with you." He was really starting to aggravate me. I just needed him to be out of my room and out of this house.

"Then I will prove it to you," he said looking at me. "Prove to me what? That you are a stuck up, arrogant jerk-"

"No," he said rolling his eyes. "That I am the better one for you. And after I have proved it to you, you will see it too," he said. I scoffed and turned my back to him. "Can you please leave already?" I asked walking towards my bed. If I looked at him again, I might just punch him.

"You're gonna realize it, Lisa. You are going to realize that you like me too," I heard him mumble as he left. Once I was sure he was gone, I turned around and locked the door. Sliding against it, I sighed and ran a hand through my hair. I could already feel the tears starting to slide down my face.

It wasn't because of the situation itself, but because he wasn't really wrong. And I knew he knew it too. I did like him...

The end of the school day was not as exciting as it should have been. I knew Grayson was riding with us and my brothers still had no idea about what happened. I walked with Justin to Dylan's car where Dylan and Grayson were already seated.

I really contemplated running home. I mean it wasn't that far, and I had my inhaler with me, so what could go wrong? But my thoughts were cut short when Dylan shouted for me to get in the car.

"Hey, did you ever find that console you were looking for?" Grayson asked Dylan. It kind of agitated me the way he was so calm about everything. Acting as if nothing ever happened. "No, not really, so I borrowed Justin's."

"You didn't borrow it, you stole it."

"Oh, get over it Justin, you never used it in the first place." Justin rolled his eyes and looked out the window. I could tell he wasn't in the best mood. "Which reminds me, I should stop to the store and get a new one," Dylan said passing the corner that leads to our house. "No," I groaned out. "You guys take beyond forever in that store and I just want to go home."

Whenever they went to any sort of gaming store they spent as much time in there as it takes to make bread from scratch.

"Oh, stop being whiny about it. You can stay in the car. We won't even be gone that long," Dylan said pulling up to the building. It was a very bright building and could draw the attention of anyone for miles.

The blue and green were striped across the front and sides with big bold letters smack in the center of the building that read Gaming Garage, but it wasn't a garage at all.

"Ok, are you staying in or what?" Dylan asked turning around in his seat to face me. I contemplated whether I actually wanted to stay in this hot car or go inside where it was well conditioned. I decided I would go wherever Grayson isn't.

"I'll stay in the car," I said huffing. I was intentionally trying to show him how annoyed I was so that I could go home. "Well, suit yourself," he said stepping out of the car. Justin followed but Grayson stayed in. I physically wanted to strangle him. I never resort to violence...okay maybe that's not 100 percent true, but I actually wanted to inflict physical pain.

"Aren't you coming?" Dylan asked Grayson. He shook his head and sighed. "Nah man."

"But you always come in with me," Dylan said. If I didn't know any better I would say he almost looked hurt. I could see Grayson roll his eyes from the rearview mirror. "I don't feel too good. I am just going to stay inside," he said.

Justin got impatient and just went inside by himself. "Okay?" Dylan said as if he was expecting Grayson to come inside anyway.

"Actually on second thought I think I will go in," I said opening the car door. "You know suddenly I feel pretty good," Grayson said also opening the car door.

"Never mind then," I said closing it.

"Yeah, never mind." Grayson closed his door. Dylan looked at both us as if we were crazy. "What kind of game are you guys playing?" He asked.

"We're not doing anything," Grayson said, playing innocent. He knew exactly what he was doing. And it made me want to hurt him even more.

Dylan squinted at the both of us before turning around and walking inside.

"You can't escape me, Lisa," Grayson said turning around in his seat. I rolled my eyes and got out of the car. "Where are you going?" He asked following me.

"As far away from you as possible," I said speeding up my pace. "Why are you so adamant on saying no to me?"

I continued walking and ignored him. I was just going to walk home. It wasn't that far anyway.  "You can't ignore me forever," he said.

"Why are you still following me?" I asked speeding up my pace if it was even possible. At this point, it would look like I was running.

"Well, I'm not going to let you walk alone. And you still need to realize that you should break up with Liam and be with me."

"Would you stop!" I shouted stopping dead in my tracks. I turned to face him and tried to muster the best glare I could. I really hoped I look intimidating. But by the look on his face, I wasn't sure I did.

"You can just stop trying to get me like I am some prize, stop trying to convinced me to leave Liam, and stop trying to convince me to be with you! Now don't follow me. Tell Dylan I walked home." With that, I turned around and continued home. I sighed of relief when I didn't hear him following me.

Finally.

That was short lived though when I heard his footsteps coming after me again. "At least come back to the car then, I won't bother you anymore," he said. I stopped and turned around. I guess I would. I don't really want to walk all the way home.

"You'll stop bothering me?" I asked repeating what he said. "Well, for now," he said turning around. I glared at his back as we walked back to the car. Dylan and Justin weren't in there yet, but as soon as we got in they exited the store.

I couldn't wait to be back in the safety of my room.
