I stared at him in shock. How on earth did he know? "W-what are you t-talking about?" I asked. "Lisa stop lying to me. I have known you your whole life, and I know when you're hiding something," he said. I was trying to look every else but at him. Did someone polish the floor? It looked much more amusing at the moment than usual. "Look at me," he said with a somewhat stern voice.
I reluctantly looked up at him not wanting to tell him all of the things I have been hiding. "Now, I have waited for you to tell me on your own time, but it's been too long now," he said. I gulped. This was the moment I did not want to happen.
"Tell me what's really going on." Just as he said that Dylan came into the living room. "Jason, Jacob took my phone, because apparently, I swear too much," he exclaimed. "Now, is not the time Dylan," Jason said. "But it's my phone," He said as if that was supposed to change Jason's mind.
He saw my nervous state and Jason's sort of angry state. "Oh, I see. I will come back then," he said then left. Curse you Dylan. I was hoping he would get distracted by that and forget about this entire situation, and all would be good again.
Jason turned back to face me and gave me an expectant look. I knew he wanted me to tell him everything, but how was I supposed to start it? 'Yeah, I was lying to you the whole time, Sorry bout that.' Yeah, that won't work.
I took a deep breath because this may just be the last time I breathe in air that's not from my bedroom. "Okay. Tonight when I said I was going to the cafe to meet with Anna, I lied." I said. "I know," he said. "I actually went to meet Dad." Que the shocked look, then the angered look. I can already see him balling his fist, but he didn't say anything yet which I guess was my cue to continue.
I told him everything from the stalking at the Pizza place, through the week, the little encounter this afternoon up until tonight, leaving out a few pieces of course. I was definitely not going to mention anything about Liam. Not yet anyway. "ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MIND?" he exclaimed when I finished saying the last word.
I flinched at his loud voice. Jason rarely shouted at me or any of our brothers for that fact. If he ever did it usually meant he was really angry. "Why would you lie about that?" he asked toning his voice down. "I--." "Don't you know how much danger you could have put yourself in?" "I know bu-," "What if he'd hurt you, or worse?" he said.
I only looked down as a tear escaped the village. I really did feel bad for hiding these things from him, but I just wanted some answers. He sighed then rested his hand on my knee. "Look, sweetie, I am sorry for shouting, but you have to understand how much danger you put yourself in," he said. "I am just trying to look out for you. It would absolutely kill me to see you get hurt." "Then I would have to go to prison for killing that person," he said.
"I know and I am really sorry Jason. I just thought that after all this time Dad may have wanted to be a real father to us," I said opening the gate for some more tears to leave the village. "And you could finally live a normal life," I said.
"Oh sweetie," he said as he pulled me in for a hug. "You should never have to worry about me. Yeah, things aren't luxurious, but I wouldn't trade you guys for a 'normal life' any day," he said. "If Dad wanted to be a real father to us he would have done so by now," Jason said.
I sniffled as I pulled from the hug. "But what if he changed his mind?" I asked. I was really trying to get Jason to give Dad another chance. "What if he is serious this time?" Jason seemed to have thought about it a little which is more than enough progress.
"You really think he wants to change himself?" he asked me. I nodded slowly. I wasn't really sure, but I wanted Jason to give him a chance. "Okay. I will talk to him, and only me. Then we will go from there," he said. That made me smile.
He pulled me in for another hug. "I don't ever want you to do something like that ever again," he said into my ear. He kissed my forehead then left. Wow, I am surprised that I didn't get into any trouble.
"Oh and you're grounded for a week," he shouted from upstairs. Of course.
I trudged upstairs to Justin's room where he was sitting on his desk chair writing something. "What are you writing?" I asked. He quickly shut the book and pushed it aside. "What do you want?" he asked. "Geesh, what's your problem?"
"Nothing, why are you in here?" he asked. Okay, I definitely had to see what he was up to. "Anyway, I told Jason about the entire Dad situation," I said plopping onto his bed. He raised his eyebrows in surprise. "Wow, how did he react?"
"Well he was pretty angry, but he took it really well. A little too well." Now that I think about it. He wasn't as angry as I thought he would be. "Although he did ground me for a week," I added ."Well, whatever the case, you did the right thing." "It could have gone downhill quickly," he said spinning in his chair. "Uugh you too? Do none of you see that he might actually be genuine about this?" I asked irritated.
He spun his chair towards me and stopped. "I mean, maybe, but that is a low low," he said. "Besides, I don't want to get my hopes up for something that may never happen, and you shouldn't either," he said looking at me.
"I am not getting my hopes up," I said defensively. "Yes you are," he said. "You keep thinking of him wanting us back, and us being a happy family again, but you aren't thinking of him not wanting us back," he said.
He was sort of right, but I hated to admit that Justin was right so I am just not going to say it. "Well, whatever," I said not wanting to talk about this subject anymore. "See, I'm right as always," he said with a smirk. "No, your not." "Yes, I am." "No, you're not." "Yes, I am" "Are no-you know what forget it," I said.
"That's what I thought," he said smirking. I rolled my eyes. "If that is what's gonna help your ankle heal, then so be it," I said. "That's not even the saying." "Well, it's my saying." "Well, your saying sucks." "You suck." "You suck."
"How about this? You both suck and need to shut up before I do it for you," Dylan said entering Justin's doorway. None of us said anything just glaring at the other. "Thank you," he said then left mumbling something about inconsiderate idiots.
I followed Dylan out going into my room not after sticking my tongue out at Justin. I know childish, but he started it. It was pretty late out now so I decided to get ready for bed. I did my regular nightly routine and made myself comfortable on my bed.
I picked up my phone and noticed I had a text from Liam.
'Goodnight blue'
I was still confused as to how he got my number. I would definitely have to look into that later. I replied with 'night'. Then slowly drifted off into the world of sleep.

Jasons POV
After the talk with Lisa, I was really angry. Like livid, not at Lisa but at that stupid son of a- Okay I need to calm down. I didn't want Lisa to know how angry I really was, after all, she was only trying to help, but she didn't know the whole story. I grabbed a hoodie and my car keys. We were gonna have a nice friendly chat. "Jacob," I said entering his room. He was asleep.
I went over to his bed and shook him awake. "What," he groaned out rubbing his eyes. "I'm going out." He looked at his watch which read 9:30. "Where?" "That's not important. Just keep an eye on the house." "Is everything alright?" I nodded although I am not sure if he saw or not.
"I'll be back," I said leaving his room. I was too angry to think straight. The fact that he had the audacity to put Lisa in danger like that. I got into my car and drove to where I knew he would always be. It was a 15-minute drive.
I arrived outside of a small apartment that seemed to be on the edge of extinction. My mom had left him taking all of the money with her. We didn't want him in the house either leaving him to find some broke down apartment to live in.
I didn't even park the car properly before hopping out and banging on his front door. I heard movement coming from inside before the door opened revealing Johnathan. I gave him no chance to say anything before I grabbed him by the collar and slammed him against the wall.
"W-w-what J-Jason?" he said all surprised. Yeah, I am sure he was. I am usually calm and collected. I think about things before I act on it, but tonight there was no thinking. "What do you think you're doing?" I asked
"What are you talking about?" he asked. "You know what I said!" I said slamming him against the wall again. "Okay, okay I'll explain everything just put me down," he said. I stared at him for a straight minute. "Please," he said.
I dropped him to the ground then ran my hands through my hair. "You better start talking, because this the calmest you will see me tonight." I stood across from Johnathan waiting for him to start explaining. "Okay, okay I know you're mad-" "I DONT WANT SOME SORRY EXCUSE, NOW START TALKING," I shouted. If you couldn't tell I was seriously losing my patience.
"Why did you invite Lisa to that cafe?" "I only wanted to talk to her I swear." "Why?" "Why do you think?" I simply glared at him. "No one wants to talk to me, no one wants to give me a second chance. Everyone ignores me except Lisa."
"So you go behind my back and try to talk to her." "She is my daughter! I think I have that right." "You lost that right when you didn't do anything to stop her from getting hurt by your wife." He looked at me with a close to sad look.
"Jason all I am asking for is a second chance. That is it," he said as if I gave a care in the world. I looked him up and down with disgust. "You make me sick. After all these years and all the pain, you caused this family you want a second chance?" I asked with a bitter laugh.
"You, Johnathan, have impeccable timing." "I know I caused you guys a lot of pain, but don't you think I live with that every day of my life. Look I am trying to make it up. I am breaking all of my ties with those people I got the drugs from. I am trying to get clean so that I can be the right father this time," he said. By the end of it, he was right in the front of me, eye to eye.
I almost fell for his stupid speech. "Look, I am only here for Lisa. She believes that you can be a changed man, so I am giving you the benefit of the doubt for her. But I swear to God if you let her down again I will personally find you and end you.
I left him standing there and exited his home if that's what you want to call it. I heard him run up to me and he grabbed my arm. "Thank you so much, Jason." I yanked my arm out of his grasp. "Don't touch me," It took everything in me not to turn around and punch him to the next galaxy. I hopped in my car and drove off not sparing him another glance.

Lisa's POV
I woke up next to Dylan who was sprawled out on the bed with an arm on my face. What? how did I get here? I picked up his heavy arm and put it on him. I could have sworn I went to sleep in my own bed.
I racked my brain trying to think of why I would be in here but came up blank. Ah, whatever I will have to find out later. Right now I am starving. I hopped out of Dylan's bed being careful not to wake him up.
I did my usual morning routine and went downstairs where Jason was sat drinking some coffee as usual and making some breakfast. I think he forgot that he grounded me because I still had my phone.
"Morning sunshine," Jason remarked as I entered the kitchen. "Morning." "Feeling better?" he asked. From what? "Yeah, why wouldn't I?" I asked confused. He put the spatula down and furrowed his eyebrows at me. "From last night," he said as if I just asked who is Kim Kardashian.
I furrowed my eyebrows back at him. "What happened last night?" Jason gave me a blank stare before flipping a perfectly golden pancake. My mouth was watering cause I was so hungry. "You honestly don't remember?" he asked.
Put one and one together Jason I obviously don't remember. "No," I replied with instead. "You had another nightmare. It wasn't that bad, but you wanted to sleep with Dylan," He said studying me closely.
I took in what he said when it all started to come back to me. "Oh that's right," I said nodding my head. He was right it wasn't that bad, but it was still a nightmare. Anyway, I didn't want to think about it anymore.
"Yeah, um I spoke with Johnathan," he said. It took me a little to realize he was talking about Dad. Jason didn't like to call him that though. I looked at him expectantly. "I will give him a chance, only for you guys," he said. It looked like it almost hurt him to say those words.
I smiled the biggest smile ever and ran up to him. "Thank you, thank you, thank you," I said hugging him." He rubbed my back and smiled. He then bent down to my level. "But just remember this one thing. Don't get your hopes up, we don't know how serious he is about this, okay?" he said and I nodded.
I was just happy that he gave him a chance. "Wait when did you talk to him?" I asked. "Last night after you went to sleep. We had a nice friendly chat," he said going back to the pancakes. "Well, that's good," In my books that was one step to us getting our Dad back.
Do we only have pancakes for breakfast? I feel like it is always pancakes. Jacob shortly came downstairs with Justin on his back. "Whatup guys?" Justin shouted as Jacob set him on the chair.
"You seem really happy today," Jason said flipping the last pancake. "That's because Jacob agreed to give me all of his old x-box games if I would stop waking him up in the mornings," he said excitedly.
Jacob rolled his eyes as Jason laughed. I raised my eyebrow at Jacob. "All of your old games?" I asked. "You try waking up to his annoying voice every morning. You will do anything to make it stop." I guess Justin was too excited about the new games because he didn't say anything along the lines of, 'My voice is not annoying' or 'You are annoying'. Yeah, his comeback game is pretty weak.
"Wait till I show my friends they are gonna be so jealous," Justin muttered to himself smiling like a crazy man. "Well, all I can say is don't let Dylan know," Jason said setting the large plate of pancakes in front of us.
"Let Dylan know what?" Dylan himself asked walking down the stairs without a shirt. Ugh, these boys. "Jacob gave all of his old games to Justin," I said nonchalantly. I just wanted to get on both of their nerves. Dylan looked at Jacob. "You said you were gonna give them to me!" he said taking a seat next to me.
"Sorry bro," Jacob said scratching his head. "Loser," Justin said sticking his tongue out which in turn made Dylan go up behind him and put him in a headlock. "Who is the loser now, huh?" "Let me go! You are just jealous."
"You should have just burned them," Jason said to Jacob. "And have them both attack me? no thanks." "Alright boys the food is done," Jason said. They both stopped their fighting at the sound of that and Dylan came back to his seat.
"Hey, Justin how is your ankle?" I asked. It seemed to have healed a lot compared to at first. "Its fine thanks for asking," he said but he was looking at Dylan as he said it. "What, I said I was sorry!" Dylan exclaimed. I don't think he is ever going to let him live that down.
I pulled out my phone from my pocket and decided to text Liam. Since I am grounded I won't be able to make it to our 'date'.
'Hey, sorry I can't make it. I am grounded' I didn't want him to think I was bailing out on him or something.
'It's fine. We can reschedule' I did feel pretty bad about it though. I will just have to plan something later.
I turned my phone off and set it on the table totally forgetting that Jason forgot to take it from me. "Ooh, Lisa is that a phone I see? I thought you were grounded." Justin said loud enough for the entire neighborhood to hear.
This got Jason's attention who's face lit up when he saw my phone. "Oh that's right!" he said snatching my phone. I gave my best glare at Justin which he just laughed at. "Almost forgot. Thanks, Justin." Jason said ruffling his hair.
'Suck up' I mouthed to him. 'Loser' he mouthed back. Stupid idiot. We finished our breakfast in about 10 minutes. Well, the boys did, it took me about 20. Sue me but I am a slow eater. Dylan stook around texting someone on his phone until I was done eating. Why? I don't know.
I finally finished and put my dish in the dishwasher. The boys must have been too lazy because they just dropped theirs in the sink. Such clean brothers, I live with. I decided to put their dishes in the dishwasher because I personally hate when dishes are in the sink.
I headed up to my room and noticed Dylan following me. I rolled my eyes. He obviously must want something. He made himself comfortable on my bed. "Dylan?" I asked getting his attention. "What?" I gave him a blank look.
"Is there a reason you are in here?" He looked at me for a minute before his eyes lit up. "Oh yeah," he said putting his phone down. "I need some help," he said. I raised an eyebrow at him. "With what?" I asked slowly.
He scratched the back of his head as if it hurt him to come to me for help. Oh, his pride."With a girl." My eyes widened in surprise then acknowledgment. "Is it that girl from the beach?" "Yeah," he mumbled under his breath.
I started jumping in excitement. "This is so exciting. Maybe she will get you to stop being a jerk," He glared at me but didn't say anything. "Ha ha ha very funny, but that is not what I came here for. I want to ask her out, but I don't exactly know how, and you are the only other girl here,"
"Who is the other one?" "Justin." "Oh makes sense," I said laughing. "Well, you should just be natural about it- which I know can be hard for you- but girls like it when you be yourself," I said. He nodded. "Okay. Anything else?"
I nodded and was about to tell him, but decided to use this to my advantage. "You know Dylan? maybe if I could dat-" "No. You aren't dating anytime soon Lisa. So forget it," he said looking at me. Well, it was worth a shot. I am still gonna date anyway. "Besides someone would be blind if they wanted to date you," he said smirking.
"Oh yeah? Whoever this girl is must already be there if she wants to date you," I said. "Oh please do you see these muscles," he said flexing. I fake gagged earning a glare from him.
"Fine, whatever," I said rolling my eyes. "So what's her name? When is the date? When do we get to meet her?" "Hold on, hold on. Her name is Eva. The date is tonight, and hopefully you guys never get to meet her," he said.
I gave him a pouty face. "Why can't we meet her?" "Because you guys are.....you," he said grimacing. "Come on, we are not that bad you know you love us," I said dramatically hugging him. "Yeah whatever," he said pushing me onto the floor.
I groaned as I landed on my ribs. "Jerk," I muttered as he laughed. I got up expecting him to leave but he just sat there. "Is that it, or what?" I asked. "Well, actually we also need to talk about last night," he said.
Oh, that's right. "What about it? I had another nightmare." He looked at me with soft eyes. "Do you want to talk about it?" "I barely remember it," I said scratching my head. I honestly don't remember. "It was different though than the rest," I added. He nodded slowly. "Okay, well you know where to find me," he said getting up and leaving my room.
It did bother me a lot actually that I didn't really remember the nightmare, but at the same time, I was very much relieved to not remember it. I have already got a lot on my plate. At least some things seem like they are starting to look up.
I was about to pull out my phone and scroll through social media when I realized that I didn't have my phone. "Uugggghhhh," I groaned out. Jason has my stupid phone. Now, what am I supposed to do? I needed to bother someone, and who better than the person who reminded Jason to take my phone.
I got up and trudged to Justin's room where he was as predicted playing a videogame. This time his friends Ronnie and Chad were over. Dylan was also here with Grayson. They must have been doing some tournament thing or whatever because all of their eyes were glued to the monitor.
It seems that everyone had their friends over so maybe I could ask Jason if I can have a friend over. I walked down the stairs toward Jason's office. I knocked first so that I could start off on the right foot. "Come in," he said. I walked in and closed the door.
"Wassuuppp bro," I said enthusiastically. He gave me one look and rolled his eyes. "What do you want?" he asked. I put my hands on my chest in fake hurt. "Why would you say that? What if I just want to say hi to my beloved brother," I said.
He gave me a blank expression. "Fine, can I have a friend over pleaseeee?" "Lisa you are grounded," he said. "I know, but like everyone else has their friends over, and I am bored because you took my phone." "And whose fault is that?" he asked raising an eyebrow at me. I glared at him.
"Now, if that is all I have to get back to work," he said smirking at me and showing me the door. I groaned and left. Whatever looks like I will just have to bother the boys. I walked back into Justin's room and stood in front of the TV just to spite them.
"Lisa, get out of the way!" Justin shouted as he furiously used his controller. "Why? Am I blocking something?" I asked innocently. "Move!" Dylan shouted. They were all trying to look around me to see the TV. All of the boys started shouting at me to get out of the way. How I just loved the attention!
Grayson got up and threw me over his shoulder. "Hey!" I exclaimed hitting his back. "I do not enjoy this view." "Oh, but I think you do." He carried me all the way downstairs and threw me on the couch. "Sorry princess, but it's an all-boys playground." Then he went back upstairs. That is not even remotely fair. I crossed my arms and huffed. This was going to be one long and boring day.
~Overprotective~
It was 5:30. Dylan is going to leave for his date at 6 pm. I am currently sitting on his bed watching him go through all of his outfits. "Should I wear this one? Do you think she will like this?" "Or this one? It's a little lighter," he said holding up two flannel shirts that, to me, almost looked exactly the same.
"Honestly, Dylan, they both look the same," I said running my hands through my hair. "No they don't, see this one is a tad bit lighter," he said showing me both of the shirts again. "Yes, you have mentioned that already, but I fail to see the difference."
He rolled his eyes and threw the shirts at me. "You are no help," he said. "Fine, let me look," I said getting up from the bed. I saw a nice jeans pants that he hadn't wear for a while. I pulled it out. "How about this?" I asked holding it out for him.
"Shouldn't I wear like khaki or something?" he asked scratching his head. I rolled my eyes. Boys are so naive. "It's only the first date, Dylan. You don't want to seem too forward," I said. "Okay." "So here, wear that with this shirt." I gave him a black shirt with a black and white flannel to wear over it.
"Wow, you are actually good at this," he said laughing. "What is that supposed to mean?" I asked. "Well, you aren't the best at fashion...." he said trailing off. "Hey!" I said smacking him in the chest. "Calm down, I am just kidding, sort of." Before I could hit him again, he grabbed the clothes out of my hand and rushed to the bathroom.
"Jerk," I muttered for the second time today. A couple minutes later he came back in the room all dressed up. "Wow, you actually look something close to descent," I said slow clapping. "Yeah whatever," he said rolling his eyes. "You have probably never seen descent in your life," he said. "Is that supposed to be some sort of smart comeback?" "No, it's just the truth."
"Ha, ha, ha," I laughed dryly. " He finished getting ready which took him about 20 minutes. "Does my hair look good like this?" He asked showing me his hair. "Yeah, it looks great." He gave me a deadpanned look. "I'm serious okay. Stop worrying so much." He seemed to be really serious about this girl, although I am not sure who she is. For all I know she could be another Susan.
The thought of another Susan was actually unsettling. "Hey, you alright?" Dylan asked. He must have noticed my sudden silence. I nodded. I didn't want to ruin his already happy mood. "Yeah." "No, tell me. What's wrong?" He came and sat next to me on his bed.
"If you're worried about her being another Susan, you have nothing to worry about," he said looking me in the eyes. "How are you so sure?" I asked. I am pretty sure he said something similar about Susan and everyone knows how that story turned out.
"Just trust me," he said. I nodded and he pulled me in for a hug. "Okay, I just hope she can tolerate you," I said pulling out of the hug. "You're very funny," he said with a straight face. "Anyway, I have to go now. I'm gonna pick her up."
"You already know where she lives? That's kinda creepy," I said. "Oh shut up. Only us adults would understand." "I don't see any adults in the room," I said looking around. He rolled his eyes and went downstairs. I followed him as he checked himself again in the mirror and sprayed on some more cologne. "Jesus, Dylan if you spray any more, you will kill her," Jason said.
Jason was already down here sitting in the living room watching football. Jacob sat next to him and Justin was laying on the floor on his phone. "And look who it is," Jacob announced aloud. "Come on guys you are making a big deal again," Dylan said groaning.
"You look horrible," Justin said not even glancing at him. "You look nice. Lisa did a good job," Jason said. "How do you know it wasn't me?" Dylan asked. We all gave him a deadpanned look. "Whatever," "I'm gonna leave now," he said already leaving.
"Wait," Jason said getting up. "What," Dylan said. He looked just about ready to run out of the house. "Make sure you're home by 10, and please don't do anything stupid," Jason explained.
"I know this, Jason, geesh, can I go now?" he asked. "Hhmmmmmmmm yes you can go. Have fun, but not too much fun," Jason shouted as Dylan left. If only my brothers were that forthcoming about me dating.....

Dylans POV
After finally leaving the house I drove to Eva's house which was about 25 minutes away. I parked in front of a small one-story home with a huge backyard. There was a pretty pathway leading up to the front door.
I got out of the car and knocked on the door. About a minute went by before a little girl opened the door. She looked up at me with her big blue eyes. "Are you Evas boyfriend?" She asked in toddler language.
"Lily! what are you doing?" I heard someone ask. Eva then came into view looking as pretty as ever. She wore an oversized gray sweater with light washed skinny jeans. "Hey," she waved to me as she grabbed her things. I smiled at her still stuck by her appearance.
"Bye, have fun, and no smooching," Lily said laughing. Eva playfully glared at her then gave her a hug and closed the door. "Love you, Hun," she said, then we both went to my car.
"You clean up nice," she said observing my outfit. "You too. I mean you look really pretty," I said nervously. What am I doing? I never get nervous around girls. They get nervous around me.
"So where are we going?" she asked. "You have to take a guess." "Uum, some fancy restaurant, ooh or a really pretty waterfall near a cliff," she said looking at me. I laughed nervously. "Well, uum you seem to have some high expectations."
"Oh I am just kidding," she said punching me. I laughed glancing at her. "Well, if you must know, we are going to the place where we first met." "ooh that sounds nice," she said nodding in approvement.
I sighed a sigh of relief. For a second I was worried she wouldn't like where we were going. We arrived in about 10 minutes laughing and talking along the way. I quickly got out of the car and went around to her side to open the door for her before she could.
Thats one of the important things Lisa told me to have, chivalry. According to Lisa, I didn't have any of it. "Wow chivalry isn't dead," she said getting out of the car. "I try to keep the tradition running," I said as casually as I could.
I led her to a small section behind the booth where I first saw her. We both sat down on the sand. Earlier I hid some snacks here for us. "I know its nothing special but I got these for us," I said pulling out the snacks.
"That's really sweet of you Dylan," she said taking them from me. We sat there in silence for a little just enjoying the company. "Did you know that Lays chips have been around since 1932?" I blurted out.
Eva looked up at me stunned at first then burst out laughing. "What it's true!" I defended. "Why do you know that off the tip of your head?" she asked in between laughs. "I just do," I said smiling. "Well, I think its kinda cute," she said smiling.
Her smile was so pretty. She was so pretty. Way prettier than Susan that's for sure. "Wanna play something?" She asked with a sparkle in her eyes. I nodded. "Let's play 20 questions. I know it sounds kinda cliché, but it will be fun."
"Okay, you can go first," I said. "Okay, if you chose an animal that would most relate to you which one would it be and why?" That is a good question. "I would say an arctic wolf." "Why?" "Because they are beautiful, like me, and they are pretty high in the food chain," I said. "I personally think they are adorable, like you," she said laughing. "Hey, I will have you know I am not adorable, I am hot and sexy," I said flexing.
She only laughed in response. "Whatever you say." "Which animal would you be?" I asked. "I would be a cat," she said. "Because everyone loves cats," she continued. I laughed. "What if I like dogs?" I asked.
"Then this, won't work," she said pointing between us. "I am just kidding!" she said when she saw my fake pouting. She hugged me and I hugged her back. We continued to play and laugh for the better half of 2 hours. When I looked at the time it was nearly 9.
We decided now would be a good time to go home because her Mom wanted her there and I had a 20-minute drive. I parked in front of her house to drop her off. "Thank you, Dylan I really enjoyed tonight," she said looking at me.
I didn't want to be one of those people to kiss on the first 'date' so I opted for a forehead kiss. There is a difference! "I had a good time too," I said smiling at her. "Next time?" She asked. I nodded.
After I was sure she was inside I left for home. What a nice night!
