•AiLin (Meaning Love From the Woods) - is a fox spirit, also known as a HuliJing, who lives in Xianyu Cave in the Shunan Bamboo Forest. Since the cave had been abandoned, he figured it would be the best place to stay away from the humans and the human world. AiLin loves to run about the forest in his white fox form. After spending hundreds of years alone in the forest, AiLin made a choice to go out and finally see the human world for himself. As he wanders around the city of Chongqing for some time, he finally bumps into LiYun, a dragon. After their meeting LiYun starts to call him Ai, meaning love, due to his soft, short, and sweet appearance.

•LiYun (Meaning Strong Clouds) - is a red dragon that has lived among the humans for thousands of years. He somehow has managed to hide who and what he is from them. While living among them, LiYun chose to open a Martial Arts School called the White Dragon. He loved learning all the different kinds of martial arts from all the old masters throughout history. Because of his love for martial arts he chooses to open the school in order to teach others all he knew and had learned. While out and about in Chongqing, LiYun runs into AiLin, a cute little fox. AiLin ends up calling him Li, meaning Strong, due to his strong bad boy, and tall appearance.

•Kong (Meaning Sky/Heaven) - is a wolf that LiYun saved. Kong ends up following him and becomes his right hands as well as teacher at the White Dragon.

•Jing (Meaning Pure) - is a tiger that has known LiYun for hundreds of years. He is his left hand and also a teacher at the White Dragon.
