When they all heard the voice and couldn't help but turn and growl. AiLin went to get up but was being held by LiYun.
''What are you doing here, Jiang?'' LiYun said as he sat up and put AiLin on his lap holding him tightly by his waist.
''Look, I'm not here to fight or anything, so do you mind calling off the pack'' he pointed behind LiYun.
''You two take Ai to get something to eat while I talk with him'' he said calmly.
''I'm not leaving'' AiLin said as his claws, ears and tail pop out.
LiYun smiled and grabbed a hold of AiLin's tail which made him blush hard ''Easy, my Ai'' he said whispering in his ear before biting onto it.
AiLin shivered and covered his face with his hands ''Ok, Li. Just let go already.''
''If it keeps you from causing trouble then no'' he said turning back to his brother ''Why are you here?'' he asked again.
Jiang walked over and sat down in a chair next to the couch ''I was on my way here to see you when I happened to see...'' he stopped and looked up at Jing.
''If it's about Su, we already know about it'' Kong said, pulling Jing to sit in the other chair.
''Ok, well on my way here I saw him and a white leopard walking out talking about Jing and Ai'' Jiang said ''Look, you may not care for me Yun but I wouldn't be telling you this if I didn't care for you.''
LiYun stopped playing with AiLin's tail and looked at Jiang ''What were they talking about?''
''Jing and Ai should leave'' Jiang looked at AiLin ''With his temper about things he will go mad.''
''Jing take Ai to get something to eat please'' LiYun said.
''No, I said I wasn't leaving'' AiLin disagreed.
''Ai, please, just this once listen to me and do as I say'' LiYun looked up at him and kissed his cheek ''Please, my Ai.''
AiLin wanted to protest but sighed and nodded getting up and grabbed his shirt putting it back on. Both Jing and AiLin left. Kong and LiYun looked at Jiang.
''So, what did they say'' LiYun said, getting up and grabbing a drink from the fridge.
''Su talked about wanting to take Jing away from the wolf'' Jiang said following LiYun to the kitchen.
''I would like to see him try'' Kong said from behind him.
''And what about Ai?'' LiYun asked not turning around.
Jiang sighed and hung his head ''The leopard wants to take him away from you himself.''
LiYun gripped the glass tightly till it broke in his hand ''He can't, that would mean going against the Emperor'' Kong said.
''He doesn't care nor does he care that Ai is the next Fox King'' Jiang said turning and looking at Kong ''I know Su won't ever get Jing as long as he is with you, Ai and Li. He is not who I'm worried about.'' He looked back at LiYun ''I know this leopard very well. He will not stop till he gets what he wants. He is also very dangerous.''
''Yeah, we already know'' Kong said, sighing.
''What do you mean?'' Jiang asked, looking at Kong again.
Kong walked over and sat on the kitchen table ''The other day Ai was attacked by him but he went all big fox on him'' he said.
''Yun are you not going to say anything about this'' Jiang said.
''Ai is able to take care of himself. He won't let that leopard do anything to him'' LiYun said ''Thank you for telling us but we will take care of it.'' He turned to walk to his room but stopped ''Plus, Ai is able to do as he sees fit. If he rather be with the leopard then me so be it. I won't force him to stay.'' He walked off and shut the door behind him.
Both Kong and Jiang sighed when Jiang turned to talk to Kong and he was taken back when AiLin walked up the stairs ''Ai'' Jiang said softly.
Kong turned around as well ''Shit Ai'' he went over to him ''Li didn't mean what he said.''
AiLin shoved passed Kong and went to the room opening the door. LiYun was sitting on the bed holding his head in his hands. AiLin slammed the door shut and locked it ''Do you not care at all about me'' he said.
LiYun looked up and was shocked ''What are you talking about? Of course I do'' LiYun got up and went over to him.
AiLin growled and shoved him back hard ''Like hell, if you did you wouldn't have just said the shit you said'' AiLin started to breath heavily and hit the wall ''HOW COULD YOU EVEN THINK THAT I WOULD EVER WANT TO BE WITH ANYONE BUT YOU'' he yelled
''I'm sorry. That's not what I meant'' he said walking back over to AiLin ''Please Ai, stay calm.''
''Stay calm? You must be kidding me right now'' AiLin said glaring at LiYun with his eyes glowing.
''Ok, I get it'' he grabbed a hold of AiLin's hand and opened the door ''No one follow us downstairs'' he said as he went down to the school.
LiYun closed off the windows so no one could see in then turned and looked at AiLin ''If you want to go all fox and hurt me then do it'' LiYun said standing in front of him ''But I won't fight back. So go ahead.''
AiLin stood there growling for a long time but the thought of hurting LiYun stopped him. AiLin closed his eyes and sat on the floor hanging his head ''Why? Why would you even say something like that'' he asked ''Have I not proven to you that you are the only one I want?''
LiYun walked over to AiLin and knelt down in front of him ''Ai, that's not it at all. If someone else wants you and you wish to go with them then who am I to try and stop you. As long as you are happy with me or whoever else then that is all that matters to me'' he placed a hand on his cheek and smiled.
AiLin knocked his hand away ''Don't smile when you talk like that'' AiLin growled and grabbed a hold of LiYun's shirt pulling him close ''How much more do I need to prove to you?'' He looked at the spot on LiYun's neck that he had marked. The mark was fading slowly and he didn't understand why.
AiLin let go of LiYun and looked at his own mark. It was still the same as when LiYun put it on him ''Why does yours fade and mine doesn't'' he said looking at LiYun.
''It doesn't matter. We still belong to each other'' LiYun said.
AiLin sat there and thought about what he did wrong. He hung his head down and sighed. LiYun sat on the floor and pulled AiLin on to his lap.
''Does it bother you that much'' he asked softly, holding AiLin's face in his hands.
AiLin nodded. LiYun let go of him and pulled his own shirt off, tossing it to the side. AiLin looked at him and tried not to blush. LiYun smiled and touched AiLin's lower back where his tail should be.
''Show me your tail and ears Ai'' he said teasingly.
AiLin blushed letting his tail and ears pop out. LiYun grabbed a hold of AiLin's tail and started to rub it softly. AiLin blushed hard, closing his eyes tightly. LiYun pulled him close to his neck.
''Bite hard then lick'' he said holding AiLin close as he played with his tail.
AiLin bared his teeth then bit into his neck hard drawing blood. AiLin let go then licked the wound softly as he was told. A small fox appeared in the middle of the mark. He sat up and looked at the mark. It almost looked like it turned into a tattoo. He reached up and brushed his fingertips over it slowly. LiYun rubbed his tail again sending shivers up AiLin's spin.
He dug his nails into LiYun's shoulders softly. LiYun pulled him close, kissing on his neck ''You are my little fox and no one will take you away from me. I will fill your whole body with my bite marks just so others will know who you belong to.''
AiLin still sat there looking at the mark then leaned against LiYun. The fact that LiYun wanted him and only him was enough to make him happy. LiYun stopped playing with his tail and looked down at him. He wrapped his arms around him tightly and just held him. LiYun knew AiLin wouldn't want anyone else, but if he chose to leave one day he would let him as long as it meant he was happy.
AiLin looked at the window that was covered but he could see outside from the bottom a bit. He didn't know when but he felt that something big was about to happen. He knew he had to do something before the others got hurt. AiLin sat up and looked at LiYun.
''Take me to the God world'' he said ''I need to know who I am and where I come from. Even if it means getting painful memories back.''
LiYun looked at him and sighed then nodded ''We will, but not till your better.''
AiLin looked at him confused ''You have a bit of a fever'' LiYun said ''Every time you channel your big fox form you get a fever. You need to learn to control it better or channel it slowly till you get use to it.''
LiYun picked AiLin up and carried him upstairs to the bedroom and placed him in bed. He got ice water and a rag placing it on AiLin's forehead. AiLin watched LiYun till he went to sleep. LiYun sighed and left the room closing the door behind him. Jing was next to Kong while Jiang was sitting at the table. They all looked at LiYun when he walked into the kitchen.
Jing looked down the hall then back at LiYun ''Ai'' he asked.
''He has a small fever, let him sleep" LiYun said then looked at Jiang ''I need a favor from you.''
''What is it?'' Jiang said standing.
''Ai wants to go to the God world. I need you to tell his mother and the Emperor. Being the next Fox King he should have the welcome as well'' LiYun said sighing and sitting down.
Both Kong and Jing looked at each other then at LiYun ''Why now'' Kong said.
''I don't know but maybe it's time he knows the whole truth and gets his memories back'' he said looking at them.
Jing sighed and looked down ''It's been thousands of years since we been there and Kong has never been'' he said ''I'm worried about Ai, but Kong isn't like the other Wolves there and I basically ran away from the Tiger Clan.''
''I'm not asking that you two come'' LiYun said ''You both can stay here, me and Ai will go alone.''
''No'' Kong said ''Ai is our family too, I want to be there with him.''
''Kong'' Jing said looking at him.
Kong smiled and patted his head ''I could care less about the other wolves there'' he pulled Jing close and hugged him.
Jiang sighed and nodded ''I will go and speak with them right away then'' he said looking at LiYun ''I should tell mother as well about you coming. She will find out one way or another.''
LiYun nodded. Jing was right, since they left the God world neither of them had been back and LiYun had not spoken to his mother since then. He folded his hands together and rested his chin on them. He was worried. Not only were they promised a marriage by the Emperor but they were both meant to be the next Kings of their clans. Once they married, both of the clans would be combined together into one of the most powerful clans in the God world. What would he do if AiLin wishes to stay there? Would he stay as well?
