AiLin and Jing spent most of the day out shopping not only for things AiLin needed but they also got food for dinner. On the way back home AiLin saw a hair cutting place. He told Jing to go ahead home without him that he was making one last stop. AiLin had never thought about cutting his hair before, but he figured that since he was living in a new time and a new place maybe it was time for a change all together. He wondered how everyone would like his hair cut.
After he was done, AiLin headed home. Instead of going through the school, AiLin chose to go up the back stairs.
''Jing, I'm back'' he said, setting the food on the table.
''I'm getting ready for the evening class'' Jing yelled from his room.
''Aright, I'm going to put this stuff away and start dinner'' AiLin said as he started to unload the bags.
''I'm glad you're back little fox...what the hell did you do?'' Kong's voice came from behind him.
AiLin turned and looked at him ''What'' he said confused.
Jing came out of his room and headed to the kitchen ''Hey Ai, I put your stuff on the couch...LiYun is going to flip'' Jing said the moment he saw AiLin's hair.
''Oh thanks, I'll take this stuff to the room first'' AiLin smiled grabbing the other bags and walked down the hall.
Both Kong and Jing stood there in shock ''How bad do you think he will flip out'' Kong finally spoke.
''Remember the time you dyed her hair blue...worse then that'' Jing said
Kong touched his hair and shivered ''He wanted to shave me bald.''
''Just think what he will say or do about Ai'' Jing replied.
Neither of them had noticed LiYun standing behind them till he spoke up ''What about Ai'' he said.
Both Kong and Jing froze up. They turned and looked at him smiling ''Nothing'' Kong said ''We were talking about Ai's room.''
''Right and I was talking about how you should help me today for the evening class'' Jing said.
LiYun crossed his arms and growled ''What is going on'' he demanded.
Jing sighed and rubbed the back of his head ''Just know that I had no idea he was going to do it'' he said looking down.
''Do what'' LiYun asked.
''What are you all talking about'' AiLin said coming out of the room looking at them. ''If you're all hungry now I can make you all a snack till dinner is ready.'' He walked to the kitchen and started to prep everything.
LiYun stared at AiLin for the longest time without saying a word. Finally, he walked over and ran his hand through AiLin's hair.
''You cut it'' he said in a soft voice.
''Yes'' AiLin replied ''It was getting too long and too hard to take care of. Plus I figured with a new start in a different place maybe it was time for a change.'' He moved past LiYun to the sink to wash everything off.
''Why didn't you tell me beforehand you wanted to cut it? I would have gone with you'' LiYun said not looking at him anymore.
Kong grabbed Jing's hand and hushed him as he pulled him down the stairs.
''This was something I chose to do in a split second. Plus, I didn't think I needed to tell you if I cut my hair or not'' AiLin stopped what he was doing and sighed.
LiYun huffed and walked away ''Then for now you can do what you want without telling me. See if I care.'' He walked to his room slamming the door which made AiLin jump.
AiLin sighed and walked out onto the back porch leaning on the railing. Kong walked up behind him and touched his shoulder ''LiYun just...''
AiLin cut him off ''Don't. Stop always making up excuses for him. If he wants to act like this all because of a haircut so be it.'' AiLin shook his head and walked down the stairs sitting at the bottom of them.
Kong sighed and walked back in going to LiYun's room and knocking ''I get you're upset but maybe this is something he needs. Even if you're upset think how Ai must be feeling right now.'' When he got no answer he sighed again ''He is out back on the steps'' he said leaving then heading to his room.
After AiLin cooled off he got up and started back up the stairs. When he reached the top LiYun was walking out. AiLin looked away from him.
''I'll get dinner ready. It will be done in an hour'' he said as he went to move past him.
LiYun was able to stop him by wrapping just one of his arms around the front of AiLin. AiLin stood there looking straight ahead of him. LiYun ran his other hand through AiLin's hair.
''Are you happy with it'' he asked softly, pulling AiLin close.
''Yes'' he answered looking over at him ''It feels lighter and won't get in the way so much.''
LiYun nods and lays his head on top of AiLin's. He hated the fact that LiYun got upset and mad at him. LiYun held him close, hiding his face in his neck. The scent that AiLin gave off smelt so good. LiYun turned AiLin and pushed him against the wall. LiYun inhealed AiLin's scent more as he moved his hands down to his waist pinning him to the wall.
''You have no idea how hard it is to stop from doing anything to you'' LiYun said growling low as he softly kissed AiLin's neck.
''Li'' AiLin said softly as he blushed, gripping LiYun's shirt even tighter.
LiYun pulled back to look at him and smiled ''Your face like this makes me want to do more to you then just this, just so I could see your face become more lustful.'' He teased whispering in his ear.
AiLin growled and pushed LiYun away walking back to the kitchen ''You and your teasing'' he barked as he went back to washing everything and getting things set out.
LiYun walked up behind AiLin pushing him against the counter, pinning him there ''Then how about I stop teasing and just eat you up right here and now'' he said as he started to slide his hands up under his shirt.
AiLing shivered at the feel of LiYun's hands on his bare skin. He held onto the counter tightly. LiYun leaned down and started to kiss on his neck again, this time he bit down on his shoulder gently. AiLin blushed harder than before. If this kept up he wouldn't be able to hold back any longer either.
''L...Li stop, I have to get dinner done, plus we can't do this here. Others would see'' AiLin said as he tried to get him to stop.
LiYun turned AiLin's head to face him. He kissed him hard and deep then pulled away a bit ''I'll stop for now, my little fox. But tonight you better be ready, cause once I start I won't stop till every inch of you has been touched by me.''
That thought made AiLin blush even more. LiYun chuckled and headed downstairs to see how Jing was doing with the class. Just as soon as AiLin thought nothing else could happen, Kong came around the corner.
''Looks like the little fox is in for it tonight.'' he teased ''Good thing mine and Jing's room is on the other end.''
AiLin turned and looked at him ''Yeah, how is that going by the way? Have the two of you made up yet?''
Kong stopped laughing and looked at him then sighed ''No'' he said as he played with an onion ''I don't know what to do to make him understand how I feel about him.''
''Try talking to him instead maybe ask how he feels about you.'' AiLin said, turning back around.
''What if...what if he...'' Kong sighed and puts the onion down ''Never mind, maybe it's best I just forget all about it.''
''You're scared he will turn you down or worse never want to see or speak to you again because of how you feel, right'' AiLin asked ''I thought the same about LiYun before coming here. I also thought that if he knew and turned me down then I would just stay in the forest forever.''
''Yeah, but look at you two now. I mean you have the same feelings yeah'' Kong asked as he sat on the counter.
AiLin looked up at him and smiled ''Though we have never really said out loud how we feel for each other, I would say yes'' he said
''And you would be right'' LiYun said as he stood near the stairs looking at them.
''LiYun, how do you know you feel the same for Ai as he does for you if you never said it out loud'' Kong wondered.
''Well, for one I couldn't stop thinking about him, you know that. As for the rest, all I know is that I never want to leave his side. I want to be there to keep him out of harm from anything and anyone'' he walks over and lays a hand on AiLin's cheek looking at him ''I also know cause I never want him to leave my side. That if he does I will be lost without him. All though I don't know why I feel this way but I don't care. As long as Ai is with me I know everything will be fine.''
AiLin smiled then hugged LiYun. Kong nodded as he finally understood what they meant. He sat there talking with them and watching as LiYun teased AiLin the whole time he was cooking. He laughed as AiLin hit LiYun with a wooden spoon. He shook his head and looked at the stairs just as Jing was walking up them.
Jing looked back at him then down as he walked to his room. Kong sighed a bit.
''Go talk to him'' AiLin said with LiYun hugging him from behind ''You won't know till you do.''
LiYun nodded placing his chin on AiLin's shoulder ''I know we both kinda raised you but sometimes things happen for a reason. If you end up together then you have my full support.''
''Mine too'' AiLin smiled and patted him on the back.
Kong sighed and jumped down. He walked slowly down the hall and stopped at Jing's door. He knocked on the door a few times.
''Yeah'' Jing said.
Kong opened the door and walked in ''Can we talk?''
Jing was in the middle changing when Kong walked in ''What's up'' he said.
Kong went and sat down on Jing's bed ''Jing'' he said softly.
Jing turned and looked at him ''Kong, what is it? Why are you acting so weird?''
Kong looked up at him then reached out and pulled him close wrapping his arms around his waist. He laid his head against Jing's stomach. He held onto him tightly, closing his eyes.
''Will you just listen to what I have to say first'' Kong asked.
''Sure'' Jing looked down at him.
''I know that you helped take care of me since I was seven and you may think of me as a brother, but for me I never could look at you that way. You always had more of a meaning to me then LiYun did and I think I finally understand why'' Kong said as he still hung onto Jing ''You are to me what AiLin is to LiYun. I don't want anyone or anything to hurt you. If you were to leave some day I would be lost without you, I wouldn't know how to live.''
''Kong'' Jing said softly.
''No, just listen'' Kong said looking up at him ''When I sleep next to you everything just disperses. I don't ever want to leave your side. If I have to be with someone I want it to be you and no one else. I don't know what to call it, but I do know I have feelings for you.''
Jing just looked at him. What was he going to do with this crazy wolf? How was he to respond? Kong watched him for the longest time and started to let go when Jing smiled and reached up running his hand through Kong's hair.
''Ok'' Jing said
Kong tilted his head confused ''Ok''he asked
''I'll expect your feelings for me.''
Kong's eyes lit up ''Really?''
''Yes, really. It's not like I haven't been thinking about it'' Jing said
Kong hugged him around his waist again hiding his face in Jing's stomach. Shit, he was so happy right now that he was about to cry.
''If you two are done, Ai said that dinner was ready'' LiYun said from the other side of the door.
''GO AWAY!'' Kong shouted as he clung onto Jing who was laughing.
Kong pulled Jing on his lap and pulled him close, kissing him deeply. Jing blushed hard then wrapped his arms around Kong's neck and kissed him back. Kong pulled back and smiled up at him.
''We should go eat though before that stupid dragon eats it all'' he said
Jing nodded ''Agreed.''
When they reached the kitchen LiYun had AiLin pinned against the table kissing on his neck. Kong cleared his throat. LiYun looked up at them.
''What, you two were taking forever, so it was either eat the food or Ai'' he said, holding AiLin close to him with one arm.
AiLin's face was red even though he was laughing ''LiYun, that's enough, let's eat.''
LiYun sighed then nodded letting AiLin go. They all once again sat around the table. The four of them laughed and teased each other the whole night.
