AiLin woke up with the sun peeking through the curtain. As he sat up a huge arm fell off him. He turned to look only to find LiYun still sleeping. AiLin smiled and reached over pushing some hair out of LiYun's face. AiLin laid back down facing LiYun. He ran his finger softly over LiYun's brow then his eyes, nose and lips. How could someone that looks so mean and be so large, look so soft and cute while he slept?
''If you keep staring I will end up blushing'' LiYun said without even opening his eyes.
AiLin laughed ''You're awake'' he said sitting up.
''Who would dare want to sleep any longer when they have a little fox next to them watching'' LiYun finally opened his eyes looking up at AiLin. He reached up and ran his thumb over one of AiLin's eyes ''I could always stare into your eyes. They are just so lovely.''
AiLin laughed again ''Only you would think so'' he said running his hand through LiYun's hair.
LiYun groaned softly and closed his eyes as he did. LiYun rolled over on top of AiLin and pinned him down. AiLin smiled and kept playing with LiYun's hair as he looked up at his blue eyes. LiYun groaned again.
''If you keep that up I won't have any other choice but to eat you here and now'' LiYun said looking down at AiLin.
AiLing couldn't help but laugh at him ''But I like your hair. It's soft'' he said as he now starts to run both hands through his hair.
LiYun closed his eyes letting out a deep growl. Unable to hold back anymore, LiYun leans down and kisses AiLin deeper and a bit rougher than the night before. AiLin wrapped his arms around LiYun and kissed him back. Just as LiYun was getting started, someone knocked on the door.
LiYun growled ''Come back later'' he said then turned back to AiLin. Just as he was about to kiss him again the knock came once more. LiYun got up and unlocked the door swinging it open ''What'' he hissed.
Kong was standing there with his arms crossed ''Class starts soon and I was wondering if the little fox could make some breakfast before we got started'' he said looking behind LiYun.
LiYun looked back at the clock and cursed then headed to the bathroom that was connected to his room. AiLin laughed and got up walking to the kitchen.
''So you help with the classes too'' AiLin asked as he started breakfast.
Kong sat at the table and nodded ''Yeah, they like to use me as the dummy'' he laughed ''I get tossed around and everything'' he bit into an apple as he watched.
''I'm sure you help more than just being a dummy for them'' AiLin said chuckling a bit.
Kong shrugs and lays his head on the table ''Hey, has Jing come out of his room yet'' he asked.
''I don't know. I woke up just before you knocked'' AiLin said then turned and looked at him ''When will you call me by my name?''
Kong looked up at him ''That's right I normally just call you little fox. Do you not like that?''
''Doesn't really bother me but it makes us seem closer than what we are and LiYun might not like it'' he laughed placing a plate of eggs on the table.
Kong got up and hugged AiLin ''But little fox we are close'' he said in a teasing way.
They were both laughing when LiYun walked in drying his hair with a towel ''About time you're done, food is almost ready'' AiLin said smiling with Kong clinging onto him like a little kid.
LiYun snorted and walked off to Jing's room and opened the door ''Hey, come get Kong off Ai before I do it'' he hissed.
Jing sat up and sighed ''Leave him alone LiYun, I'm sure he is just teasing AiLin or following him around cause of his cooking'' he said ruffling his hair as he yawns.
''One dead wolf it is then'' LiYun said heading back to the Kitchen ''KONG!'' he shouted.
Jing jumped up and ran to the kitchen to find Kong running around the table to get away from LiYun ''Oh come on, LiYun. I was only teasing him a bit and he doesn't mind it.''
''Doesn't bother me any, Li'' AiLin said laughing ''Leave him alone.''
''No way'' LiYun growled.
Kong ran around the table again bumping into Jing when he did. He stopped and looked at him in the eyes ''Jing'' he said softly. Kong stopped laughing and went quiet. He looked away from Jing and his face showed no emotion.
Jing reached out to touch Kong only to have him slap his hand away ''I'll be downstairs when you're done LiYun'' he grabbed a piece of toast off the table ''Sorry about teasing you, Ai'' he turned and left the room.
Jing sighed and walked back to his room with LiYun following him shutting the door behind him ''What was that all about?''
Jing sat down on his bed ''Kong ended up having a nightmare last night, he wanted to sleep in here with me cause he said it made him feel better. When I was teasing him he got up to leave, I pulled on him to stop only to have him fall on top of me and then he...'' Jing stopped looking down and blushed. ''Kong ended up kissing me. After that he went back to his room.''
''No, he didn't'' AiLin said from the doorway.
They both turned and looked at him ''What do you mean Ai'' LiYun asked walking over to him.
''After you went to your room first last night, I saw Kong leaving. He said he did something that he wasn't sure if Jing would forgive him'' AiLin said looking at Jing ''He said he wanted to get some fresh air. After that I don't ever remember if or when he came back till he knocked on Li's door this morning.''
Jing sighed and looked down. Was Kong trying to express how he felt for him and he felt that Jing turned him down? AiLin walked over to Jing and sat next to him on the bed.
''I don't know how you feel about him, but it seems he is also trying to figure out how he feels too'' AiLin rubbed his back ''Maybe you should talk to him or maybe you both need space to figure out how you both feel for each other.''
Jing nodded and smiled at AiLin ''Thanks Ai, I'll think about what to do.''
AiLin nodded and got up walking out the room going back to the kitchen with LiYun following behind him.
''Why didn't you tell me any of this last night'' LiYun asked in a huff.
''Cause that is their problem and I was more worried about ours'' AiLin said softly then stopped not looking at him ''Plus, we are just as bad as them. In truth we don't really know how we feel either yet we want to stay close to each other.''
LiYun hung his head a bit then walked over and hugged him once again ''Ai.''
''Whatever these feelings are it doesn't matter, I don't plan to leave your side till you want me to'' Ai pulled away and went to finish laying out the food on the table. ''You eat, I'm going to take a shower and change. Get Jing to eat as well.'' He walked into LiYun's room and into the bathroom shutting the door.
LiYun stood there sighing a bit then looked at the food AiLin had made. Not long after Jing walked up behind him and patted his back. They both sat down and started to eat slowly and without speaking.
''What will we do with this afternoon's class'' LiYun finally asked Jing, looking at him.
''I'll get some of the older students to help me.'' Jing said.
LiYun nodded then looked up at the clock ''I need to get going. Class will start soon.'' He got up taking his plate to the sink and headed to the stairs only to stop and look down the hall to his room ''Can you lend Ai some of your clothes for now? You're close to his size.''
''Sure. If you want I can take him shopping to get more clothes and other things he will need as well'' Jing said with a smile.
''Thanks. I'll have Kong start on the room once class is over'' LiYun said, headed down the steps.
''Wouldn't you rather have him in your room instead'' Jing asked teasingly.
''Right now I'm sure he would rather have his own'' LiYun left.
Jing cleaned up the table and the dishes then went to his room grabbing a set of clothes. When he went to LiYun's he didn't see AiLin anywhere. He went over and knocked on the bathroom door only to have it push open a bit. Jing could see AiLin sitting on the floor near the door hugging his knees.
''Ai, are you ok'' Jing said pushing through the door and kneeling next to him.
''I just remembered I don't have other clothes and I don't know how to use the shower'' AiLin said looking up at him.
Jing laughed and held out the clothes ''Wear these for now. After you're done we will go out and buy more plus anything else you need. Kong will clean the room next to LiYun's after class.'' He got up and turned the water on for him.
He showed him how to turn everything on and off and got him a few towels, then left the room. Jing laughed. He closed LiYun's bedroom door behind him and headed to his own room to change his own clothes. He stopped at Kong's door and opened it peeking inside. Kong had always kept his room neat. He walked in moving over to Kong's bed. It looked as if he never even slept in it.
''What are you doing in here'' a voice came from behind him.
Jing turned to find Kong behind him ''I was going to wash some clothes and wanted to see if you had any that needed clean'' he lied.
Kong closed the door behind him then walked over to Jing. He placed his hand behind Jing's head and pulled him close to the point their faces were only inches from each other. Jing started to blush a bit as he looked down at Kong's lips then back to his eyes.
''It would be best if you didn't come in here again unless you want something to happen'' Kong said softly.
''Like what'' Jing asked.
''Do you want to find out'' Kong said, wrapping his other arm around Jing's waist closing the space between them.
Jing didn't move an inch as his eyes never left Kong's ''Show me'' he said. Jing reached up and placed his hands on Kong's face.
If he was going to figure out what was between them wouldn't now be the time? Kong leaned in closer, never blinking or closing his eyes. Jing did the same. Just as their lips were about to touch Kong pushed Jing away and turned throwing the door open and left.
Jing stood there wondering what happened. He shook his head and started to walk out only to be stopped by Kong again who grabbed him and kissed him deeply kicking the door shut with his foot. Jing blushed hard as he was being pushed backwards towards the bed till he tripped only to fall on it. Kong leaned over him kissing him again as they laid on the bed. Kong slipped his tongue between Jing's lips. Jing gripped onto Kong's shirt tightly. He broke the kiss to catch his breath.
Breathing heavily Jing laid there looking up at Kong. Kong looked back down at him placing a hand on his cheek ''I'm sorry Jing, but I don't see you as a brother.'' He got up and backed away ''You mean way too much to me it seems. Maybe deep down there had always been these feelings but they just didn't show till now. You don't have to worry though anymore. I will keep my distance from you till you know what it is you want.'' Kong left again this time closing the door behind him.
Jing laid there looking up at the ceiling. He could feel his heart beating fast in his chest. How could this be happening? He helped raise Kong and taught him the things he knew yet what was this he was feeling. Jing tossed everything aside and got up going to his own room. He wasn't going to ever let this happen again. There was no way he could have feelings for that stupid wolf.
After changing his clothes and after AiLin finished washing and changing himself, they both left and headed out into the village.
