Dil ki aarzoo labon par aati hai
Teri ek nazar mera dil behlaati hai
Teri ek jhalak mera dil bechain karati hai
Teri ek muskaan se meri zindagi sawar jaati hai.

Anabia was in the kitchen sweating profusely. She was wearing a lemon-yellow color suit with a cigarette off white pants. Her lemon yellow chiffon dupatta was hanging around her neck.
It was the first time cooking something in the kitchen. She tied her hair in a bun and start cutting fruits for a fruit custard.
"Ohho. Shouhar ke liye itni mehnat ki jaa rahi hai," Anam said in a mischievous tone while coming into the kitchen.
(Ohho. Someone is cooking something for their husband)
"Aapko kisne kaha ke ham Shahzain ke liye bana rahe hai?" Anabia asked steering the milk which was on the stove.
(Who told you that I am making something for Shahzain)
"Zahir hai. Aap pehli baar kuch bana rahi hai. Apne shouhar ke liye hi bana rahi hongi," Anam said taking the piece of apple.
(It's obvious. You are making something for the first time. It must be for your husband)
"Nahi yaar. Ham Aaban ke liye banaa rahe hai. Aaban ko bohot pasand hai na," Anabia said with a smile while steering the spoon.
(No. I am making it for Aaban. He likes the fruit custard)
Anam looked at her with a shocked expression.
Aaban Ahmed was the younger brother of Shahzain Ahmed. He is mischievous and the funniest among his siblings.
"Aapko nahi lagta ke shahzain bhai ko bura lagega ke aap unke ke liye nahi banaa rahi hai. Unka zyada haq hai aakhir aapne first time kuch try kiya hai," Anam told her.
(Don't you think that Shahzain bhai will feel bad that you didn't make it for him. You are making something for the first time and he has more right on it)
"Usme bura maanne wali baat kya hai? Waise bhi wo is tarah ka khaana pasand nahi karte," Anabia said decorating the bowl with custard and fruits.
(There is nothing to be offended. And he doesn't even like this type of food)
Anam sighed at her naiveness and left the kitchen.
Anabia is not making custard for him out of love. She just wants to go shopping with him as he has a very good choice. And it was one of the ways in convincing Aaban. Her farewell party was on few days and she was still not done with the shopping.
"Aaban, I made a fruit custard for you," She said while she entered the living room.
He flopped on the couch while watching football. His mouth watered at the sight of his favorite dessert.
"Kya kaam hai?" Aaban asked narrowing his eyes at her.
(What do you want)
"Hamein please shopping par leke chale. Aapki choice kitni acchi hai. Hamari farewell party hone wali hai and hamare paas dress hi nahi hai," Anabia said whining like a child.
(Please take me shopping. Your choice is so good. There will be a farewell party in my college and I don't have a proper dress)
"Mujhe pareshan mat karo Anabia. Shahzain bhai ko bolo wo tumhe le jayenge. Aakhir shouhar hai wo tumhaare," Aaban told her which make her groan.
(Don't bother me Anabia. You can tell Shahzain bhai if you want to go shopping. He will take you shopping after all he is your husband)
"Hame unke saath nahi jaana. Har cheez Mai khaami nikalte hai," she told him in a childish tone as she didn't realize Shahzain heard everything.
(I don't want to go with him. He finds out fault in everything )
When Aaban was not convinced, she realized something.
"Aaban meri jaan
Aapke begair hai hamari zindagi sunsaan,"
Anabia sings it for Aaban in a childish tone making him chuckle.
(Aaban my life
Without you my life is deserted)
"Kya ho raha hai yaha?" An intimidating voice startled Anabia.
(What is happening here)
His presence was scaring the crap out of her. Her gaze went to Shahzain who was standing there with his hands in his pocket. His muscles and abs were bulging out of his white crisp shirt.
"Aapki biwi mere saath shopping jaana chahti hai. Keh rahi thi ke aap har cheez mai khaami nikalte hai," Aaban said with a smirk making Anabia eyes widen.
(Your wife wants to go shopping with me. She told me that you find fault in everything)
"Jhoot bol rahe hai Aaban. Hamne aisa kuch nahi kaha. Ham bas yahi keh rahe the ke aap busy honge. Ham aapko disturb nahi karna chahte the" Anabia lied fluently.
(Aaban is lying. I didn't say anything like that. I thought you will be busy. I don't want to disturb you)
Aaban looks at her with accusing eyes and she shrugged in return.
"Apki biwi ne mere liye fruit custard banaya hai," Aaban said with a smirk internally taking revenge from Anabia.
"Ham aise hi first-time kuch try kar rahe the," Anabia said fidgeting with her fingers.
(I was just trying something for the first time)
Shahzain looks at her with a scrutinizing eye and lets out a sigh.
"Fruit custard room mai leke aau," He told Anabia to which she nodded her head in an instant.
(Bring fruit custard in my room)
The custard was still untouched as they were busy bickering.
"Bhai Anabia ne mere liye banaya tha," Aaban interrupted as he was craving for the delicious dessert.
(But Anabia make it for me)
"Meri biwi ne pehli baar kuch banaya hai. Aur tumhe lagta hai ke mai tumhe khane dunga. Itna shauk hai toh shaadi karlo aur apni biwi se banane bolo," Shahzain said turning towards Aaban by giving him a deadly glare.
(My wife makes for something for the first time. And you thought that I will let you eat it. If you are so keen to eat it then go and find a wife who will make it for you)
Anabia was very puzzled by his behavior. He was behaving very differently nowadays and it was bothering her.
What he's up to? she thought.
She shrugged her thoughts away and went to his room. She twisted the doorknobs and peeked in. She saw him sitting on the bed while his opening his cufflinks.
"Aap aisa kyu behave kar rahe the? Aaban bhai ko bohot man tha custard khane ka," Anabia said with a frown while holding the bowl of custard in her hand.
(Why we're you behaving like that? Aaban bhai wanted to eat it)
"Tumhe bhi samajhna chahiye na. Zahir hai mujhe acha nahi lagega agar tum kisi aur ke liye kuch karo. Kisi aur ke liye cook karne ki zarurat nahi hai. Cook karna chahti ho toh sirf mere liye cook karo," Shahzain said glaring at her making her roll her eyes.
(You should have understood that. I won't like it if you will do something did her. You don't have to cook for anyone else. If you want to cook, you can do it for me)
She nodded her head even though she didn't understand the word he said.
"Aur har kisiko jaan bolne ki zarurat nahi hai. Mujhe nahi pasand," Shahzain said glaring at her.
(You don't have to use word life for everyone. I don't like it)
"Aapko pasand hi kya hai?" Anabia muttered under her breath.
(What do you even like)
" Agar shopping par jaana tha toh keh deti mujhe. Mana thodi karta mai. Aakhir biwi ho tum meri. Zimmedari hai tumhaari mujh par," Shahzain told her.
(If you wanted to go shopping, you should have told me. I wouldn't have to decline you. After all, you are my wife. You are my responsibility)
"Ham aapko pareshaan nahi karna chahte the", Anabia said in a low voice.
(I didn't want to bother you)
His deadly glare shut her up.
" Get ready in an hour. I will take you to the shopping," He told her to which she nodded her head in reply.
He won't let her be away from him even for a second, she thought.

There were roaming around the various shops in the mall in search of the best dress for her farewell party. She was hell tired as they were continuously walking from straight 1 hour.
He didn't even like the single dress. Some dresses are too shiny or bland according to him. He dismissed all the dresses she likes. Because according to him it's too revealing.
There were going through some shops when her eye catches the most beautiful dress she saw.
"Hamein yeh dress chahiye," she said pointing at the mannequin. It was the lavender color elegant gown.
(I want this dress)
"No thanks, I don't want anyone to look at you on this gown. It's too revealing," He said arching his eyebrows. It was just a sleeveless dress.
She groans and moved to the other shop.
"What about this?" He asked showing her the off-white suit.
She scrunched her nose as she didn't like it a bit.
" I would love to give it to my principal," Anabia said in a sarcastic tone earning a glare from him.
They went to the other shop and they find the perfect dress. It was off white color Indo western outfit. It was very classy and elegant.
"You will look beautiful in it," He whispered in her ear to which she nodded her head. Blood rushed to her cheeks as she realizes he was just behind her. Both of his hands were on her either side.
She composed herself as he pulled away. He paid the bill and they exit the shop.
"Ham aainda aap ke saath shopping par nahi aayenge. Aap har cheez lene se manaa karte hai," Anabia told him as they exit the shop.
(I will never come to the shopping with you. You reject every dress)
She felt that Shahzain was not following her. She turned around and saw him looking at the certain shop. It was the lingerie shop. Her eyes become wide in embarrassment.
He gulped thinking that his innocent wife will ever try to seduce him or do something for him.
"I won't stop you if you want to buy something from here," Shahzain said with a gulp.
Her face heats up in embarrassment.
"Aap na- Aap bohot gande insaan hai. Aap toh dikhne bohot shareef lagte the par aap hai nahi," she told him embarrassingly.
(You are- You are a very bad human being. You seem to be a very decent man but you are not)
There are still many things that she doesn't know about her dear husband. Because at the end of the day, she's still an innocent Anabia to Shahzain.
