"Ohho. Itna glow hai tumhare chehre pe. Sab Zameer Bhai ki mohabbat ka noor hai," Madiha said with a dreamy sigh making everyone's eyes widen at her words.

(There is so much glow on your face. It's all because of Zameer Bhai love)

Aahil facepalmed at her wife's words as he raised his eyebrows.

"Ek din mai mohabbat nahi hoti, meri jaan," Aahil said in a sarcastic tone as he patted her cheeks.

(It's not possible to fall in love in just a day, my soul)

"Mohabbat nahi par kashish tou zaroor rahti hai. Hamne notice kiya hai yeh cheez. Zameer bhai ki aankhe hi Zahra par atki hui hai. Mohabbat ki dastan jald shuru hone wali hai," Madiha smirked causing the tinge of red to appear on his cheeks. Zameer scratches the back of his neck in nervousness.

(Love doesn't happen. But attraction is there. I have noticed it. Zameer Bhai gaze is fixed on Zahra. The love story is going to start very soon)

"Madiha- chalo room mai chalte hai. Tum se bohot saari baatein karni hai," Zahra forced a smile while her eyes were glaring at her.

(Let's go to the room. There's so much to talk about)

"Tumhe tou yeh bhi nahi pata hai ke unke saamne kya bolna hai. I was so embarrassed because of you," Zahra shoot her a glare as soon as they entered the room.

(You don't even know what to say in front of him)

"Arre, chill karo. Qasmey woh tumhe aankhe phaad phaad kar dekh rahe the. Aur tumne ek baar bhi unki taraf nahi dekha. I was waiting for the epic eye contact," Madiha groaned and Zahra playfully hit her arm.

(Aye. Relax. I swear he was staring at you all the damn time. And you weren't staring at him at all

"Waise hamare bhai ne hamari bhabhi jaan ko munh dikhai mai kya diya?" Madiha looked at her with mischievous eyes as she asked.

(What my Bhai gives to my bhabhi on the wedding night?)

"Ham pehle tumhari dost hai," Zahra shoot her a glare as she took the velvet box from the vanity table.

(I am your friend first)

"Inhone ne hame yeh munh dikhai mai diya tha," Zahra passed the elegant swarovski bracelet in the rose gold color.

(He gave me this on our wedding night)

"MashaAllah. Kitna pyaara hai," Madiha squirmed caressing the edge of the bracelet.

(It's so pretty)

"Tumhe itna accha lag raha hai tou tum hi rakh lo. Waise bhi hame itna kuch pahenna ka shouk nahi hai," Zahra smiled tucking her hair behind her ear.

(If you like it, then you can keep it. You know very well that I don't like to wear jewelry)

"Pagal ho kya. Zameer Bhai ne itne pyaar se tumhare liye laaya hai. Aur tum hame dene ki baat kar rahi ho. Unki taraf se yeh pehla tohfa hai. Tum aise hi kisiko nahi de sakti," Madiha glared at her.

(You are such an idiot. He bought it with so much love. And you are telling me to keep it. It's the first gift from him. You can't give it to anyone)

"Tum tou bohot khaas dost ho hamari. Tum pahno ya ham kya fark padta hai. Waise bhi inhe bura nahi lagega," Zahra reasoned causing Madiha to facepalmed at her friend's stupidity.

(You are my special friend. It doesn't matter if I wear it or you wear it)

"Qasmey. Tumhe Zameer Bhai ka zara khayaal nahi hai. Unhe kaisa lagega jab unhe maloom hoga ke unki biwi ne unki mohabbat ka zara ehteraam nahi kiya," Madiha said in a dramatic tone.

(I swear, you don't care for him at all. How will he feel when he will come to know that his wife doesn't value his love)

"Mohabbat jaisa kuch nahi hota hai. Ishq tou koi bhi kar lete hai, rishton ko nibhane ki himmat kisi mai nahi hoti," Zahra looked at her palm as all the memories flooded in her mind.

(There is nothing called love. Anyone can do love, but it is hard to maintain the relationship)

"You still haven't forgotten him? You have to move on, Zahra," Madiha explained in a serious tone as she squeezed her shoulder.

"I can't- Madiha. Ham unhe kaise itni aasani se bhul sakte hai. Hamne unse mohabbat ki thi. Wo hamari pehli mohabbat thi. Ham dar lag raha hai, Madiha. Aisa lag raha hai ke hamne bohot badi galati ki hai shaadi karke. Hame unko apni baatein saamne rakhne ka mauka dena chahiye tha. Hame kuch samajh nahi aa raha hai," Zahra burst out as frustration was filled in her tone. She clutches her hair in a tight grip as

tears trickled down her cheeks.

(How can I forget him so easily. I loved him. He was my first love. I am so scared, Madiha. I felt like I did a big mistake by marrying so early. I should have given him a chance to speak. I don't know what to do)

"Tumne kuch bhi galat nahi kiya. Zahra- tumhari shaadi ho chuki hai. Tumhara koi haq nahi banta ke tum Azhar ke baare mai socho. Tum ek baar Zameer Bhai ko mauka tou do. Unke saath waqt bitaao. Unse mohabbat karne ki koshish karo. Rishton ko sambhalna padta hai, meri jaan. Warna har rishte toot kar bikhar jaayenge. Tum apne jazbaat ko sambhalo," Madiha engulfed her in a warm hug as she was trying to console her.

(You didn't do anything wrong. You are married now. You don't have any right to think about Azhar. Just gave Zameer Bhai a chance. Spend time with him. Try to love him. It's important to balance the relationship. Or else every relation will be destroyed. You have to control your feelings)

"Ham Azhar se nafrat karna chahta hai. Wo bohot bure hai. Unhone hame jhoote waa'de aur tassali di thi. Ham kabhi unse shaadi ke liye haan nahi karte agar ma'loom hota ke woh pehle se shaadi shuda hai," Zahra hiccuped as she harshly wiping away her tears.

(I want to hate Azhar. He is the worst. He gave me false promises and hopes. I won't have agreed to marry him if I knew that he is already married)

"Zahra," Madiha slowly said looking at her with guilt in her eyes.

"Hamne tumse ek baat chhupayi hai," Madiha bit her lips making zahra raised her eyebrows.

(I hide something from you)

"Tumhari mayun ki raat hame Azhar ka call aaya tha. Wo hamare ghar aaye the subah mai aur unhone ne hame puri baat bataye. Ham nahi chahte hai ke tum Azhar ke baare mai galat socho. Usme unki koi galati nahi hai. Wo ladki paiso ke liye Azhar ko fasaane ki koshish kar rahi thi. Azhar ne hame sab proof dikhaya. Unn dono ki koi shaadi nahi hui thi. Wo ladki abhi jail mai hai. Ham chahte tum Azhar ko maaf kardo aur apni zindagi mai move on karo. Bhul jao ke koi Azhar bhi tumhare zindagi mai tha. Tumhari dil mai rahne ka sirf Zameer Bhai ko haq hai," Madiha told in a low voice and Zahra nodded her head.

(I got a call from Azhar on your mayun night. He then came to my home in the morning. I didn't want you to think bad about Azhar. He was not at fault. That girl was trying to trouble him for money. He showed me all the proof. He is now in jail. I want you to forgive Azhar whenever you feel like it. I want you to move on. Forget that you had any Azhar in your life. Only Zameer Bhai had a right to stay in your heart)

"Ham Zameer ke saath bohot galat kar rahe hai. Wo bohot acche hai. Wo yeh sab deserve nahi karte. Ham unhe sab kuch bataa denge," Zahra said in a determined tone, and a lone tear escaped from her eyes.

(I am doing so wrong with Zameer. He is such a good man. He doesn't deserve it. I will tell him everything)

"Tum galati se aisa kuch mat karna. Husbands are very possessive and they will surely not appreciate that their wife has a past. It's better to not raise this topic in front of our husband," Madiha advised and she nodded her head.

(Don't you dare do anything like that)

"I once told Aahil that I have a crush on Stefan Salvatore and I find him super hot. He was so pissed at me that he was not talking to me for a day. In the end, I have to apologize to him and seduce him. That's how my life is. I swear that I will never throw such pranks. Double mehnat," Madiha added with a heavy sigh causing a faint smile to appear on her lips.

(Double work)

"Thank you, Madiha," Zahra said as her lips curved into a smile.

The evening sun cast long shadows on the ground. The pale crescent moon is shown like a silvery claw in the night sky. The blankets of stars were stretched in the sky as it was one of the most beautiful nights ever.

Zameer softly knocks on the door as he entered the room. Zahra was startled as she hastily put her dupatta on her shoulder. Her body was shaking with unknown fear causing her to tremble.

Zameer opens his cufflinks when his gaze fell on her shivering figure. He rolled the sleeves of his shirt while the top few buttons of his white shirt were undone.

"Zahra," He gently whispered her name as he sat on his knees. He bent down as he slowly held her hand. He noticed her paled face and a red nose. Her hair was a mess. Her eyes were red from crying

"Kya hua hai aapko? Aap mujhse kuch bhi share kar sakti hai," Zameer cupped her cheeks while looking into her eyes.

(What happened to you? You can share anything with me)

"Kuch nahi," Zahra lied averting her gaze away.

(Nothing)

Zameer nodded his head even though he was not satisfied with her answer.

"Aapne dinner kiya hai?" Zameer asked and she shook her head.

(You had dinner?)

"Bhook nahi thi," Zahra shook her head and he shoots her a glare.

(I was not hungry)

"Wait and watch, Mrs. Zameer. You need to care about your diet.  You need to learn some freaking lesson. I will surely mind teaching you," Zameer looked at her causing her eyes to widen at his words. Their hands entwined as he led her to the kitchen.

Calm breezes passed through the curtains causing a faint smile to appear on her lips. She was sitting at the table looking at her husband with amusement as he was making juice for both of them. They already had their dinner and he makes sure that she eats properly.

"Aise kya dekh rahi ho?" Zameer chuckled as he shook his head.

(What are you seeing?)

"Aap acche lag rahe hai," Zahra smiled as he passed her the juice.

(You are looking good)

"Thanks, I guess," Zameer runs his fingers through his hair as a tinge of red appeared on his cheeks.

Zahra gulped down the juice and something hit her mind. All the memories rushed in her mind as she looked up at him with pure adoration.

You have to move on in your life.

You are betraying Zameer by thinking about azhar.

Madiha's words rang in her ear and she felt her throat clogged up with emotions.

His breath hitched when she wrapped her delicate hands around his chest. Her face was buried in his chest as she can hear her sniffing. Her fingers were clutching his shirt and he felt different emotions run through his veins.

"Zahra," His husky voice caused shivers to run down her spine.

"I am sorry," Zahra whispered in his ear while her lips slightly touch his earlobes.

"Zahra," He whispered her name as he let out a moan.

"Meer," She repeated causing him to look into her eyes.

She was feeling drowsy with each passing second. She was stressed and tired all day. But when she is in her husband's arms, she is relaxed. She is feeling calm and peaceful. Soon, her eyelids dropped and all the creases on her forehead fade away.

Zameer smiles and placed a gentle kiss on her forehead. Without thinking twice, he carried her in his arms in a bridal style leading her to the bedroom.

He gently laid her on the bed and spread the quilt on top of her. Zameer heard her soft snores and a smile broke on his face.

He wrapped his arms around her while her head was rested on his chest. Soon the calmness enveloped in the air as the couple was in each other arms.

Their first cuddle.

"Zameer- bataiye na ham dono kaha jaa rahe hai," Zahra fidgeting with her finger and he smirked.

(Tell me where are we going)

The muscular veins popped up as his palm was pressed on the steering wheel. Blush coated her cheeks as his actions.

"Sabar kare, meri jaan," Zameer chuckled and she bit her inner cheeks.

(Have patience, my soul)

After few minutes, they reached her baba house and she was overwhelmed with happiness. Zahra thanked him as she was missing her baba a lot.

When they were about to enter the living room, they heard a voice.

"Bhai, maine aapko sab kuch bataa diya hai. Azhar ki koi galati nahi thi. Wo ladki mere masum se bete ko phasaa rahi thi. Zahra meri sagi bhaanji hai. Mai kyu uske saath galat hone deti. Aapa ne khud yeh rishta joda tha kuch saalon pehle. Mai aaj wahi rishta maangne aai hu," Azhar's mother explained and Hafiz Mirza let out a frustrated sigh.

(Brother, I told you everything. It's not Azhar fault. That girl was trying to make trouble for my son.  Zahra is my real niece. Why I would have done wrong with her? My sister aka Zahra's mother has fixed this relationship years ago. I am just here to fix that proposal)

Azhar was sitting beside his mother while his eyes were searching for her.

"Ab kuch nahi ho sakta. Jo hona tha wo ho gaya. Behtar hoge ke tum apne bete liye koi aur ladki dhoond lo," Zahra's father pinched the bridge of his nose.

(Nothing can happen now. It will be better if you find another girl for your son)

"Kyu nahi ho sakta? Mai Zahra ko bohot pasand karta hoon," Azhar interrupted causing Zameer to clench his jaw.

(Why can't happen? I like Zahra a lot)

The couple was standing there looking at the whole scenario which was unfolding. Zameer hands tightened around her waist and her breath hitched.

"kyunki zahra meri biwi hai," Zameer said in a loud voice and everyone looked at them.

(Because Zahra is my wife)

"What the hell are you saying?" Azhar rolled the sleeves of his shirt as he moves towards them.

Zameer jaw ticked and zahra hid behind him. She was clutching his hands as she was scared of what drama he will unfold.

"Zahra," Azhar looked at her with the longing in his eyes.

"Jaanam," He repeated, and a hard punch landed on his jaw.

(Beloved)

"Don't you dare use any endearment for my wife," He glared as the veins in his neck popped out.

Her father came forward and make sure that they went to move to their respective house in the most respected way though they don't deserve it.

Azhar moved away but not before staring at her with the longing in his eyes. While she was also looking at him with guilt in her eyes.

That didn't go unnoticed by Zameer.

Assalamu alaikum

How's the chapter?

I have so many things to discusses with you all today. There is some good news and bad news.

The bad news is that I got loads of assignments and my exams are approaching. It will end on 20 August. So I will be going MIA until then. Just pray for me and I won't be able to update until then. Or maybe I will pop out with an update if I will get time who knows. I will miss you all until then🥺

And there is good news for you all. I am planning so many special things for you all that I am sure you all are gonna love it. It's so exciting and I can't wait to show it to you all🥳

If you want to read an amazing collection of desi stories, then check out the Desi_Tadka account.

And I have updated the aesthetics of Madiha and Aahil on the prologue page of Aghyaar. Make sure to check it out.

Most importantly, I have been noticing things for the past few days and I wanted to talk about them. It's not directed to anyone. What is the strong female lead in your eyes? Everyone is strong in their way in my eyes. Anabia is an orphan but that doesn't mean that she is not strong. If the male lead is protective or possessive that doesn't make the female lead less strong. Only the working women are not strong, housewives are also the example of strong women. It's a women's choice what she wants to become and no one is to judge their choices.  The same goes for working womens. This thing is going on my mind for the past few days and I felt like clearing it out. I am sorry if I offended anyone❤
