میں یوں اپکو چھوپ چھوپ کر دیکھتا ھوں

اپ کو کیا پتہ کہ میں آپ سے کتنی محبت کرتا ہوں

Mai yun aapko chupp chupp kar dekhta hoon

Aapko kya pata ke mai aapse kitni mohabbat karta hoon

The whole room was decorated with tulips and jasmine. There was a bunch of red roses decorated on the side table. The gloomy candle and the dim light was the only source of light. The flowery scent makes the environment more romantic.

Madiha sucked in a sharp breath as she heard the clicking of the door. Her deep red gharara was sprawled on the bed. Her heavy zardozi work dupatta was pinned on her shoulder. She had already removed her choker necklace and earrings which was disturbing her for the past few hours.

Madiha fixed her maangtika as she crosses her arms over her chest.

"Madiha," Aahil softly said as he sat on the edge of the bed. She jerked his hands away from her when he tries to hold her hands.

"Aahil- aap zara bhi romantic nahi hai. Aapko hamara zara bhi ehsaas nahi hai. Hamare kitne armaan the shaadi ko leke. Lekin aapki fuppi ne sab barbaad kar diya. Aap kya hamare liye stand nahi le sakte the. Ham ko aisa lagta hi nahi hai ke ham dono ki ek doosre ke pasand se shaadi hui hai. Ham bohot khafaa hai aapse," Madiha huffed as she ranted about how deeply she was hurt by his family.

(You are so unromantic. You don't even feel it yet. I have so many desires for our wedding. But your aunt spoiled everything for me. You can't take a stand for me. I don't even feel like it was a love marriage. I am so furious at you)

"Aisi nahi hai, meri jaan," Aahil stroked her cheeks as he planted a warm kiss on her forehead.

(It's not like that, my soul)

"Aisa hi hai, Aahil. Ham ko lagne laga hai ke ab aap ham se mohabbat hi nahi karte. Ham bohot insecure ho gaye ham dono ke rishto ko leke. Aaj aap hame khush bhi nahi lag rahe the. Koi baat ho gayi hai kya?" Madiha looked at him with teary-eyed as all her insecurities flooded in her mind.

(It's only that, Aahil. I feel like you don't love me anymore. I am feeling so insecure about our relationship. You weren't even smiling today. Is there something you are hiding from me?)

A gasp escaped her lips when Aahil hovered her petite figure. He nuzzled his nose in the crook of her making her sigh in pleasure. She hissed when he sucks the sensitive spot behind her ears making her the blushing mess.

"Aap ko aisa kyu lagta hai? Tumhe sahi mai lagata hai ke mai tumse pyaar karna bhul sakta hoon. Maine tumhe dil se apnaya hai," Aahil looked into her eyes as he gently caressed her cheeks.

(Why do you feel like this? You taught me that I will forget loving you. I accepted you with my whole heart)

Madiha nodded her head while biting her lips. His heart flutter at their closeness. It was the first time he was this close to her.

They were looking into each other eyes as their throat bobbed.

"I love you so much, Madiha. Tum mai jaan basti hai meri," Aahil cupped her cheeks while staring at her with desirous eyes.

(You are the love of my life)

A lone tear fell down her cheekbones as all her insecurities fade away. He gently wiped away her tears while his other hand was wounded around her waist.

"I feel the same for you, Aahil," Madiha lightly touch his jaw. Their lips were just an inch away and they both were staring into each other eyes.

Her toes curled when he placed his warm lips against her kissing her gently. A breathy moan escaped her lips when it slowly becomes aggressive.

Aahil pulled away and stare at the beauty in his arms. He looked at her with a genuine smile and kissed her forehead gently. Madiha nodded her head permitting him.

Darkness spread across the room as he switches off the light. Their clothes were discarded on the floor as the couple was overwhelmed with desirous emotions, love, and passion. Moons and stars hide behind the cloud as the couple was passionately making love with each other under the beautiful night. With every thrust, they grew closer to each other more than ever.

Zahra tied her hair in a bun as she moved towards the kitchen. She took out the saucepan from the cabinet and put it on the stove. She put all the ingredients of the tea and waited for it to boiled.

She tucked her hair behind her ear as she was lost in the deep thoughts.

Zahra's mother passed away when she was young. Her father bought her up with utmost love and care. He spoiled his daughter with everything making sure that she never misses her mother.

She pours down two cups of tea and some toast for their breakfast. She took the tray to their aangan as she settled on the jhula.

"Baba, aapki chai," Zahra softly said and her father passed her a gentle smile.

(Father, your tea)

"Hamesha khush raho," He patted her head as he took the cup of tea.

(Stay happy)

Hafiz Mirza, her father takes the sips of the tea and his taste bud exploded with the strong tea made by her beloved daughter.

"Kya chai hai! Nahi pata mai apni beti ki chai piye begair kaise rahunga," He forced a smile.

(It's the best tea I ever had. I don't know how I will live without your tea)

"Aapko kon aisa bol raha hai? Ham aapko apne haath se chai banaa kar pilaayenge hamesha," Zahra passed the gentle smile.

(Who is telling you to live without the tea made me? I will always make tea for you)

"Zahra- aaj shaam main kuch mehmaan aane wale hai. Tayyar ho jaana. Nashte ki fikr mat karna. Main bahar se laa dunga," Hafiz Mirza cleared his throat giving the indirect statement to his daughter.

(Some guests will come today. You must get ready well. You don't have to worry about snacks. I will bring it)

"Baba," Zahra whined as her lips pursued into the pout.

"Zahra- wo baat kabka khatam ho chuki hai. Kuch matlab nahi banta wo baat phir se chhedne ka. Maine tumhari khwaish puri ki thi. Par wo tumhare naseeb mai nahi tha. Mai apni beti ka aise ghar mai rishta nahi karaunga jaha uska izzat nahi hoti hou. Allah ne tumhare liye behtareen socha hai. Shaam ko waqt par tayyar ho jaana," Hafiz Mirza strictly said to his daughter as he stood up from his chair.

(My statement was final. There is no purpose to repeat everything. I fulfilled your wish. But he was not your destiny. I won't marry my daughter at a place where she doesn't get respected. Allah has better plans for you. You should get ready on time)

Without glancing at her, he moved away from there informing her about the decision.

Zahra was standing in front of the mirror lost in her thought. She slowly removed her diamond studs and settle them on the vanity table.

She was wearing a simple white color chikankari kurti with a blue faded cigarette pants. Her white georgette dupatta was hanging around her slender neck. A simple pendant touched her slender neck. Her makeup was minimal giving the flawless natural look. Her hair was pulled up in a tight braid completing her look.

Zahra bit her lips when a rishta came for her and they liked her a lot. She was mentally prepared for this. It's a part of our lives. We all moved on in our life leaving all the grief and sorrow we endure.

Her father agreed to the proposal without asking for her consent. But she was glad. She was very confused considering the proposal. She was glad that her father took the decision behalf. Whatever our parents decide for us is the best, right?

The knock on the door startled her. She opened the door and saw her father staring at her with a faint smile.

"You aren't happy?" He asked.

"I am happy, Baba," Zahra forced a smile.

"Zahra- I have agreed to the proposal because they are good people. I know them very well. I know I can trust them with you. You are my only daughter and I want someone worthy of you. I hope you will accept this new phase of your life wholeheartedly," He patted her daughter and a lone tear fell on her cheeks.

"Baba, hame koi shikayat nahi hai. Aap jaisa chahenge waisa hi hoga. Hamne unko kabka bhula diya," Zahra's lips pursed into the pout as tears rolled down her cheeks.

(I don't have any complaints. I will do whatever you want. I forgot him long ago)

"Yeh tou khushi ki baat haina. Tou aap rou kyu rahi hai? Kuch dino baad aapka nikah hai aur bohot saare kaam hai. Mai tou apni beti ki shaadi bohot dhoom dhaam se karaunga," Hafiz Mirza caressed her daughter's head and she looked at him teary-eyed.

(Then it's the good thing. Then why you are crying? There's your nikah after few days and there are so many things to do. My daughter wedding will be the grand one)

"Baba, ham chahte hai ke saadgi se nikah ho," Zahra said and he nodded his head. He understood the reason behind his daughter's statement.

(I want a simple nikah ceremony)

Zameer opened the first few buttons of his shirt as he let out a frustrated sigh. He laid his head on the couch and run his fingers through his messy hair.

"Tum aagaye?"  Safaa, his elder sister asked as she passed him the glass of water.

(You came?)

He gulped down the glass of water as he nodded his head.

" Tum fresh ho jao. Mai mulazima se kahti hoon ke tumhare liye dinner lagwa de," Safaa declared and he nodded his head.

(Get fresh. I will tell the maid to serve you a dinner)

Zameer moved towards his room and took a light shower. He changed his clothing to a trouser and sweatshirt. He moved towards his dining room when he saw the little Ahmed playing with his toys. Lowering himself, he drops a kiss on his forehead.

"Zameer- tum se kuch baat karni hai. Madiha ki ek dost hai jo hame shaadi mili thi. Bohot hi acche mijaaz ki thi aur bohot chanchal thi. Mujhe woh tumhare liye bohot acchi lagi. Shaam ko ham aur mamu unke ghar gaye the. Bohot hi accha ghar or khaandaan hai. Agar tum kaho tou mai haan kardu," Safaa said and he raised his eyebrows at his sister's words.

(I wanted to talk to you about something important. I saw her at Madiha's wedding and she is her friend. She is good nature and very friendly. I liked him for you. I went to their home in the evening. Her family is also very good. If you agree, then I can also agree to this proposal)

Zameer rubbed the side of his neck in nervousness. He shooked away his thoughts and cleared his throat.

"Aapa- aap ko jaisa theek lage. Aap ne wo ladki mai kuch accha hi dekha hoga. Jo aapke sahi lage aap wahi kare," Zameer runs his fingers through his messy hair as he said those words.

(Sister- do whatever you feel is right. You must have seen something good in her)

"Mujhe tou bohot pasand aai hai. Tum uski tasweer dekhna chahoge?" Safaa asked in a mischievous tone and a tinge of red appeared on his cheeks.

(I like her for you. You want to see her pictures)

"Khoobsurati se koi fark nahi padta. Bas dil ki acchi ho. Uski acchi personality ho. Wo sabko ek saath lekar chale. Aur kya chahiye," Zameer said as a faint smile makes its way to her lips.

(Beauty doesn't matter. I just want her heart to be beautiful. Her personality should be good. She must take care of everyone. What else do I want)

"Tum tou bohot seedhe ho," Safaa chuckled at her brother and he moved away from the table as he was feeling awkward.

(You are so innocent)

"Waise ladki ka naam Zahra hai," Safaa added making him froze.

(By the way, her name is Zahra)

Zahra

The name repeated in his mind and her name rolled over his tongue. A genuine smile made its way to his lips hearing his soon-to-be wifey name.

It was their nikah day. The day where they will bond into the sacred bond of marriage. The occasion of nikah was held in their backyard with simple white decor. It was the intimate nikah ceremony with only close friends.

The couple was sitting in front of each other on the couch which was decorated with flowers. The white flower curtain was placed between them and they could barely see each other.

Zameer was looking stunning as ever. He was wearing a white pathani and an off-white color waistcoat.

Zahra was playing with the ring in her finger while her gaze was lowered on her lap. She was wearing a red gharara with golden thread embroidery. Her mother nikah's dupatta was on her shoulder. She was wearing her deceased mother's wedding jewelry. Even though the designs were old, it was attached with the memory of her mother.

The flower gajra was decorated on her wrist while her hands were adorned with mehndi. She was looking like a traditional bride.

Madiha came forward and put the red net veil on her head which covered her head properly. Her whole body was shaking with nervousness.

Zahra looked at her Baba who was looking at her with tears in his eyes. He averted his gaze away and patted her head.

Soon the moulvi came and asked for their consent. They both repeated Qubool hai thrice accepting each other in the nikah. They sign the papers with their shivering hands while their heart was trembling with unknown emotions.

The curtain was dropped and they slowly looked up at each other with unknown emotions. Their eyes locked and they were staring into each other eyes. It was all the game of feelings and passion. They clicked into each other at the first stare that they couldn't avert their gaze away.

“Mashallah, ” He breathed.

"Alhamdulilah," She breathed.
