Attention from our loved ones is something we all want. Some people get cranky as they don't get enough attention from their close ones.
The day dawned crisp and clear as the sunlight poured through the window. A rosy hue spread across the sky as the golden fingers of the sunlight lit up the sky. The sky was painted in the hue of orange and blue. It was teamed up with the golden rays of the emerging sun from the east.
"Minahil, utho aur nashta kar lo. Main jaa raha hoon. Tum Driver ke saath aa Jaana," Harris sat near her side on the bed as he caressed her brown wavy hair which was sprawled on the white pillow.
(Wake up and have breakfast. I'm going. You can come with the driver)
Minahil shifted in her position as she clutch his arms to her chest. He smiled as she snuggled up to him.
"Mat jaaye na aaj. Ham bohot thak gaye hai. Zara mann nahi hai aaj office aane ka,"Â Minahil lazily said as her lips pursued into the pout.
(Please don't go. I am tired. And I don't feel like going to the office today)
"Tum aaj aaram kar lo. I will go to the office. I have an important meeting to attend," He kissed the top of her head and she whined.
(You can have rest today)
"I forgot- aaj tou bohot important meeting hai. Ham jaldi se ready ho jaate. Aap thoda sa wait kar le mera," Minahil requested as she get out of the bed. She tied her hair in a messy bun as she strode towards the wardrobe.
(It's a very important meeting today. I will get ready quickly. Just wait for me)
Harris and Minahil were still working in his textile firm. As they both have worked hard on it, the sales of the manufacturing items grew more than ever.
"I have to go. You can come with the driver," Harris said in a hurried tone as he close the door of a room.
Minahil's heart churned at his ignorant behavior. Tears pricked inside her eyes and she gulped down her tears. Since they had established their third firm in the city, they are busy more than ever. Their revenue has increased more than ever. It proves that a woman is always behind the man's success.
But it was both of their success. They were not behind each other. They were beside each other. And it was their most beautiful bond in the purest form of love.
Yet everything comes with disadvantages. Harris was way too invested in his corporation that he is unable to give her the time that every couple deserves. And this action of him hurt her a lot. She knows that he is working very hard and he can't just leave their project. But he can't neglect his wife in the name of work.
The wife always comes first and she needs to teach him the lesson.
An evil smirk played on her lips as she took out a red color dress. His favorite color.
Let's see how he will be able to concentrate on work today, Minahil bit her lips as she said those words.

Harris pinched the bridge as she slammed the file on the table.
"What do you all want me to do? Act patiently. It's your damn job to follow the order and you all can't even do it properly. I can't lose this deal at any cost. And what the fuck you all have been doing all along? It's a mockery that you have all working on this project since last month and still didn't get it completed. There's no finishing and it's full of errors. If you all won't be able to correct your mistakes, then consider yourself fired," Harris glared at a few men in his office.
Those interns nodded their heads and he let out a frustrated sigh.
"Stop nodding your damn head and get out of here," Harris snapped and in a few seconds, his office was vacant.
Harris licks his lips as he sat on his chair.
His blood boiled seeing the file which was full of error. He threw the file against the walls and let out a frustrated sigh.
Running his fingers through his hair in a frustrated manner, Harris run his fingers on the edge of the paperweight.
The clinking sound of a heel against the marble floor urged him to look at the door. His heart ran a marathon seeing minahil walking towards him confidently.
She was dressed well in a red dress. Her red dupatta was hanging around her neck. There was light makeup done on her face and all he did was stating at her.
Harris sucked in a sharp breath as he looked at his wife. His sukoon.
"Aapko kya hua? I have heard you screaming at the interns. Is everything alright?" Minahil softly asked as she moved towards his desk.
(What happened to you?)
"They are a fool. I'm not letting any intern work here. I'm going to let the only experience people work here," Harris said in a determined tone as he moved toward the grey couch which was situated at the side of the office.
"I'm so exhausted right now," Harris added as he slumped on the couch.
"Come here, Minahil," Harris moved his hands towards her and she smiled.
She sat on his lap and hide her face in his chest.
"You knows it's not the right way to deal with the things," Minahil muttered playing with the button of his shirt.
He didn't utter a word but smother kisses all over her face.
"Tum nahi raho tou main pagal ho jau," Harris said as he buried his face in the crook of her neck.
(I will go mad if you will not be with me)
"Itni romantic baat. Kabhi aap ko dekh kar laga nahi ke aap romantic baat bhi kar sakte hai. Par aap tou hero nikle. Mere hero," Minahil smiled brushing her lips against his jaw and he smirked.
(It's romantic. I never thought that you are so romantic. But you are a hero. My hero)
"Main tou jaisa bhi hoon aapka hoon. Jo bhi karta hoon aap ke liye karta hoon,"Â Harris smiled as she snuggled into him.
(I am whatever I am for you. I do everything for you)
"Tou agar ham aapko kuch kahenge tou aap manaa nahi karenge na aap? Aap hi apni mohabbat ka dawah kar rahe the kuch minute pehle. Ho sake tou Hamari yeh khwaish bhi puri kar de," Minahil gently said fixing his wrinkled shirt.
(So you won't deny me any request? You were telling me about love a few minutes ago. If possible, do complete my wish)
"Tell me," Harris cleared his throat and she stifled a smile.
"Apologize to them. Because no one this bad treatment from the place they are to learn. They are still young and they are bound to make mistakes. It makes them human. You need to have little patience. I know you are tired and exhausted with everything around you. But I'm here for you. I won't let you all alone," Minahil muttered against his lips as her fingers were running down the veins in his neck.
"I am not going to do that," Harris looked at her with a glare.
"You have to do that. Or else you will sleep on the couch until next week," She threatened to stifle a smile.
His mouth gaped open and he scoffed at her words.
"Of course, I believe you," Harris snorted.
"I am serious. Do you wanna test me?" Minahil said as a mischievous smirk was decorated on her face.
"Fine. I will. Minahil, you got me all whipped. That's not the good thing," Harris took his blazer from the chair as they both moved out of the office.
"I love you," she pecked his cheeks and a tinge of red covered his cheeks.
As soon as they enter the cabin of interns, everyone was startled. They greeted him and apologize for the delay in the project.
"Harris," She nudged his shoulder and he groaned.
"You all can take the day off today. I want the project to be completed by tomorrow evening," Harris awkwardly said and moved out of there.
"You didn't apologize?" Minahil narrowed her eyes as she crossed her arms over her chest.
"It's the most I can do," He snorted and she sighed.
"Baba," An angelic voice came from a hallway and an instant smile broke on his face.
(Dad)
She was his daughter. Alina Harris.
"Baba ki Jaan," Harris take his little angel in his arms and peppered kisses all over his face. She giggled in return.
(You are my life)
"Aap mama ko bhul gai?" Minahil pouted as she bend down.
(You forgot your mother?)
"Baba. Favorite," Alina wounded her arms around his neck and Minahil mouth gaped open.
(Dad)
"Munh band kar lo," Harris chuckled and she hit his arms.
(Shut your mouth)
"Who bought you here?" Minahil asked.
"Azlan mamu," Alina chirped.
(Azlan Uncle)
Harris noticed that his precious little daughter had a red rose in her brown braid hair.
"Who gave you this?" Harris asked.
"Alyan. Today was rose day and he gave me this. He also kissed my cheeks," Alina blushed and his eyes widen.
"What the fuck," He gritted his teeth in annoyance.
"Harris. They are just kids. Relax," Minahil squeezed his shoulder and he pinched the bridge of his nose.
She was his daughter. Protectiveness surged inside him. He wanted to protect his angel from every evil of the world. According to him, Alyan was also evil. The 6 years old boy.
"Alina. I can buy my daughter roses and chocolates. And anything she wants. We don't need another man for that, do we?" Minahil smiled at his words. He was being very possessive of his daughter.
"Nope," Alina giggled and he smiled.
"Tomorrow, I will go to her school. I need to deal with something," He raked his fingers through his hair and Minahil stifle the chuckle.
That's what he was. Possessive of what's his. His daughter and his wife are very important to him. Precious girls of his life.
