"Yaar, 3 questions ka answer kya hai?" Faiza asked in a low voice to the girl who was sitting beside her.
(Man, what is the answer to 3 questions)
That girl fixed her glasses and narrowed her eyes.
"Padh kar nahi aayi tum?" That girl asked in a low voice making Faiza rolled her eyes.
(You didn't study)
"Agar ham padh kar aaye hote tou tumse nahi puchh rahe hote," Faiza said grinding her teeth.
(If I would have study, I wouldn't have asked you)
That girl ignored her and continue writing her paper.
Toppers ke bhi alag nakhre hai. Thoda sa bata denge tou mar nahi jaaenge, Faiza thought.
(Toppers have so many tantrums. They won't die if they will help me)
Her gaze went to Arsh who was engrossed in writing his exams.
Faiza slightly leaned towards him making sure that the professor is not paying attention to them.
"Arsh, please help kar do. Mujhe kuch nahi aa raha hai," Faiza said with a crying face.
(Arsh, please help me. I am unable to understand anything )
Arsh gave her a stern look making Faiza rolled her eyes.
"Bade aaye stern look dene wale. Dost ko zara bata doge tou mar nahi jauge," Faiza snarled.
(You are not big enough to give me stern look. You won't die if you will help me)
Arsh ignored her and continue writing his papers.
"Agar mai fail ho gayi tou Ammi ne foran mera nikah padhwa dena hai. Tum chahte ho meri jaldi shaadi ho jaaye?" Faiza asked him innocently making him stiff.
(If I will fail, mom will get married. Do you want me to get married this early)
Arsh runs his fingers through his hair frustratedly. He let out a heavy sigh and show her the answers. Faiza has her ways to blackmail him.
Faiza averts her gaze when she saw a professor staring at them.
She was mentally cursing herself for not preparing for exams very well.
The last question confused her. The question was;
Q. What are the economical profits?
Faiza let out a groan as she didn't know the answers. Few minutes were left for the examination class to end.
She thought about the question and she wrote.
A. Economical profits are the profits in economic.
She wrote the answer and took a relief sigh. Without bothering to check the paper twice, she decided to end the paper with her stupid answer.
Faiza scratched the back of her neck when she saw the whole class was engrossed in writing the exam.
Itni der se kya likhe jaa rahe hai, Faiza thought with a gulp.
(What they are writing all this time)
***
"Thoda sa concentrate kiya hota na tou acche marks aate tumhaare. Nahi pata kya likh kar aai hogi exam mai," Arsh said looking at her with disappointment.
(If you would have concentrate, you would have passed. I don't know what you have written in your exams)
"Jo hona tha wo ho gaya. Ab kuch matlab nahi hai baat kar ke. Chalo cafeteria chalte hai. Bohot bhook lagi hai," Faiza said caressing her stomach.
(There is no meaning to talk about what's already been done. Let's go to the cafeteria. I'm hungry )
Arsh controls the urge to smile at her childish antics.
They reached the cafeteria and sat on the chair.
"Ammi ne tumhaare liye bheja hai," Arsh said passing her the tiffin box.
(Mom send it for you)
Faiza curiously opened the tiffin box and her mouth watered at the sight of delicious food.
It's far better than the canteen food, she thought.
It was paratha chicken roll. She turned towards Arsh and look at him with curious eyes.
"Tum nahi khaoge?" Faiza asked raising her eyebrows.
(You won't eat)
"Nahi. Mujhe pasand nahi," Arsh said scrunching his nose.
(No, I don't like)
"Bhae, tumhaare bhi alag nakhre hai. Itni acchi ammi hai tumhaari. Har waqt tumhare pasand ka khana banati hai. Aur ek hamari ammi hai. Jo har waqt karele banati hai. Bohot na shukr insaan
ho tum," Faiza gave him a lecture to which he rolled his eyes.
(Man, you have so many tantrums. Your mom is the best. She always cooks your favorite food. And my mom never bothers to cook my favorite food. She always makes bitter gourd curry which seems tasteless. You are very ungrateful)
"Meri biwi khana banaye gi tou mai zaroor khaunga," Arsh said with a smirk to irk her.
(I will eat when my wife will cook for me)
A chuckle escaped her lips as she heard his words.
"Oye Hoye, abhi se family planning chal rahi hai. Jaldi se shaadi kar lo aur mujhe fuppi banne ka mauka do. Tumhe idea bhi nahi hai ke ham kitne saal se ye din dekhne ke liye taras rahe the," Faiza said in an excited tone making him choke on his coke.
(Ohh, someone is already planning their family. Get married already and made me the aunt of your kids. I was dying to see that day)
Arsh faces reddened due to her wild imagination. He surely has his future planned but with her.
"Mai ghar jaa raha hu," He said glancing at his watch.
(I am going home)
"Mai bhi aa rahi hu," Faiza said taking the last bite of paratha roll.
(I am also coming)
"Aunty ko bolna ke kal samose bheje. Bohot tasty hai," Faiza said in an excited tone making him chuckle.
(Tell aunt to send samosa tomorrow. Her food is very tasty)
(Samosa is the Indian triangular pastry filled with a stuffing of mince and veggies)
Arsh leaned towards her and passed her his signature smirk.
Her heart skips a beat because of the qurbat. Arsh tucked the strands of hair behind her ear while looking at her with a sly smile.
(closeness)
"Moti ho jaugi," Arsh whispered in her ear while erupted into laughter.
(You will get fat)
"Bohot bure ho tum. Mai nahi kar rahi tumse baat," Faiza said with a huff while crossing her arm on her chest.
(You are very bad. I am not talking to you )
"Accha chalo, ghar bhi jaana hai," He said holding her hand to which she nodded her head.
(Ok, but let's go home)
Faiza sat on the passenger seat while he starts driving the car. She was fidgeting with her fingers as she was nervous.
Her mother sent her the picture of that boy last night. His name is Imraan.
Faiza promised herself that she will make sure that her beloved aapi have a good future and a good husband.
Though she is a cheery and fun-loving girl, she is very mature when she needed to be.
She shrugged her thoughts and look outside the window.
Faiza remembers that her days are near and she needs to go to the pharmacy to buy sanitary pads.
She saw the pharmacy at the end of the road.
"Arsh, mujhe yahi chodd do. Mai yaha se chale jaungi," Faiza said taking her bag but Arsh stopped her.
(Leave me here. I will go home by myself)
"Aise kya kaam hai tumhe? Mai tumhaare saath chalta hu," Arsh said to which Faiza groan.
(What happen? I will come with you)
"Mai chale jaungi. Bas mujhe pharmacy hi jaana hai. Itni fikr mat kiya karo meri," Faiza said with a forced chuckle to which he frowns.
(I will go by myself. I just want to go pharmacy. Don't worry about me)
Arsh put his palm on her forehead to check the temperature. He frowns when he realized that she is perfectly fine.
"Tumhaari tabiyat tou theek hai tou fir pharmacy kyu jaana hai? Tumhe pharmacy se kya chahiye? Mai le kar aa jaata hu," Arsh questioned her with concern.
(If you are fine, then why you want to go pharmacy? What do you want to buy from a pharmacy? I will bring whatever you want)
At that moment, all Faiza want to do is bang her head on the nearest wall. She controls the urge to smack his forehead.
Men are weird.
"Kya chahiye tumhe?" Arsh asked again.
(Just tell me)
"Condoms," Faiza said in a blank tone.
Heat crept up to his cheeks at her words.
Arsh just couldn't believe that she asks for that.
"Excuse me?" Arsh asked with a gulp.
"Sahi suna tumne. Jau jaa kar le ke aau mere liye," Faiza said crossing her arms on her chest.
(You heard right. Just bring it for me)
"Faiza," Arsh said with a gasp at her sudden boldness.
"Yaar, tum bhi hadd karte ho. Meri shadi bhi nahi hui hai. Mai kya karungi condom ka. Kuch personal bhi rahta hai," Faiza said with frustration.
(Man, you are weird. I am not married. What I will do with a condom)
She came out of the car before he could utter a single word. His cheeks reddened due to her boldness.
She is going to be the death of me, Arsh thought.

Faiza didn't take much effort in dressing herself. She was wearing a sea-green color long frock with a cream beige white color cigarette pants. She wrapped a white embroidered shawl around her shoulder and wore her colorful khussa.
Faiza was on her way to her Imran office to meet him. Her mother doesn't want her to go alone but she insisted that she will handle the situation. So she was here to meet her to be jiju.
Faiza entered the M.K enterprises when her gaze fell on Imran. She remembers because she had a picture of him on her phone. His arms were wrapped around
the girl as he was hugging her.
Faiza's eyes went wide when she saw him laughing with another girl.
This man has no shame. He sends the proposal for my sister and has an affair with another girl, Faiza thought.
Faiza marched towards him angrily. Her hands balled into a fist when she was planning how to exactly murder the man in front of her.
"Zara bhi sharm nahi aapko. Ek tou aap hamari bahen ke liye rishta bhejte hai. Aur yaha dusri ladkiyo ke saath affair chalate hai. Zara bhi ghairat nahi hai aap jaise mardo mai. Har dusri ladki ke saath affair chalate hai," Faiza shouted angrily while looking at him angrily.
(You don't have any shame. You send a proposal for my sister and here you have affair with another girl. You don't have any shame. How can you flirt with every other girl)
His eyebrows drew closer as confusion filled in his eyes.
"Excuse me, aap mujhe galat samajh rahi hai. I am not that type of man. Aap se koi misunderstanding hui hai," That man said in a calm tone.
(You are taking me wrong)
(You have a misunderstanding)
"Wo tou hame acche se pata hai ke aap kis tarah ke aadmi hai. Ham bata rahe hai aapko. Ham hamari bahen ki shaadi aise ladke se kabhi nahi hone denge," Faiza said grabbing his collar.
(I know what type of man you are. I am telling you. I won't let you marry my sister ever)
"Aap hosh mai bhi ke aap kya kah rahi hai? Mai chahta bhi nahi hu aapki bahen se shaadi karna," The man said in confusion.
(Do you have any idea what are you even saying? I don't even want to make your sister )
"Ham hone bhi nahi denge. Ye aapki khushfehmi hai ke ham apni eklauti bahen ki shaadi aapse karwane ke liye mar rahe hai. Bhaad mai jaaye aap. Aur hamari family ke taraf aankh bhi utha kar dekha na tou aapko idea bhi nahi ke ham aapke saath kya karenge," Faiza said pointing her index finger towards him.
(I won't even let it happen. It's your wrong imagination if you think that I will let my sister marry you. You can go to hell. If you ever come near my family, I won't spare you)
"Zimraan, ye kya kah rahi hai?" The girl beside him asked.
(What is she saying )
Confusion filled in her eyes.
Zimraan?
"Aapka naam Zimraan hai?" Faiza asked with a confused expression.
(Your name is Zimraan)
"Zahir hai. Aap tou hamari baat sunne ke liye bhi tayyar nahi thi. And I swear I never sent the proposal for your sister. Nor I am a guy who flirts around," Zimraan said raising his eyebrows as the smirk played on his lips.
(Exactly. You weren't even ready to listen to me)
"Tou Imran kon hai? Par ammi ne tou hame aapki pictures bheji thi," Faiza said as the frown lines appeared on her forehead.
(Who is Imran? Why Ammi send your pictures)
A chuckle escaped his lips while he shakes his head. Her face heats up in embarrassment.
"Aap se bohot badi misunderstanding ho gai hai. Imran is my twin brother and he sends the proposal for your sister. I am very much single," Zimraan said with a chuckle making Faiza embarrassed at her impulsiveness.
(You have a huge misunderstanding)
"I am Zimraan Ali and she is my sister," Zimraan said pointing at the girl beside him.
"I am extremely sorry, Zimraan. Ya Allah, ham kitne pagal hai. Ham bina soche samjhe aapko itna kuch bol diya. It was never my intention," Faiza told biting her lips in embarrassment.
(Oh God, I am an idiot. I talk without thinking twice)
"It's okay, it happens sometimes. And I am extremely happy that I met you. You didn't introduce yourself?" Zimraan asked lightening the situation.
"Faiza Ahmed," Faiza said in a low to which he passed her his charming smile.
A drool-worthy smile.
Her heart flutters a bit under his gaze.
A bit.
