"Ammi," Mishal said as she entered her mother's room.

"Aap kya kar rahi hai?" Mishal asked as her mother was taking out some jewelry from the locker.

(What are you doing)

"Aao baitho. Hamne tumhare liye jewelry sambhal kar rakhi thi. Tum bhi dekhlo," Her mother smiled and showed her the jewelry.

(Sit here. I maintained some jewelry for you. Have a look at it)

"Ye wahi jewelry haina jo aap ne apne shaadi mai pahni thi. Jab aap 17 saal ki thi?" Mishal asked and her mother glared at her.

(Isn't it the same jewelry you wore at your wedding? When you were 17 years old?)

"Kaisa lag raha hai? Tum apni shaadi mai pahenna," Her mother said in excitement.

(How's it? You should wear it on your wedding)

"Ammi- hame nahi samajh aata ye sab. Aur aap sab ko bataa de ke ham do teen saal tak rukhsati nahi hone denge. Ham apna masters complete karenge," Mishal said in a proud tone and her mother let out a chuckle.

(I don't understand this thing. And tell everyone that I won't let rukhsati happen before 2-3 years. I will complete my master's first)

"Edi tu Einstein," Her mother scoffed and her mouth gaped open.

(Yes, Einstein)

"Kuch kaam tha?" Her mother asked.

(Why you came here)

"Haan. Aapne khama kha hamara waqt zaaya kar diya. Ham aapse ye puchhne aaye the ke ham konsi aashiqana kitaab khareede? Ham online search kar rahe the par hame samajh nahi aa raha tha," Mishal pouted and her mother smacks her forehead.

(Yes, you wasted my time. I came to ask which romantic book should I purchase? I tried to search online but didn't found a good one)

"Mishal- ab tum badi ho gayi ho. Zara soch samajh kar bola karo. Jo munh mai aata hai bol deti ho," Her mother scolded her.

(You are grown up now. At least think before saying anything. You say whatever comes to your mind)

"Aap hi demand puri karne ki koshish kar rahe aur aap hame hi daant rahi hai. Bhalai ka tou zamaana hi nahi raha," Mishal said in a dramatic tone as she moved away from her mother's room.

(I am trying to complete your demand and you are scolding me. There is no value of goodness)

She was going towards her room when the doorbell rang. Mishal groaned and went to open the door.

A guy was standing there with a baby in his arms.

"Gappu," Mishal chirped and took the baby in her arms.

Umair was the child in her neighborhood and she used to adore him a lot.

"Gappu?" A man raised his eyebrows.

"Ham umair pyaar se gappu bulate hai. Ek dafa ham unko apne saath market le gaye the aur unhone ne 2 gol gappe khaaye the. Tab se ham unko gappu bulaate hai," Mishal chirped without realizing that she was blabbering to the stranger.

(I called him out of love. I took him to the market once and he had 2 gol gappa. Since then I called him gappu)

"Ohh," Was all he said as he scratches the back of his neck in nervousness.

"I am Ibaad. Umair's uncle. We were going for a walk, and he wants to meet you. Would you mind going to a park with us?" Ibaad asked.

"Aap tou farishtay ban kar aaye hai. Ham ghar baithe baithe itna pakk rahe the. Neki aur puchh puchhh. Ham abhi aate hai," Mishal chirped excitedly as she took out her jooti from the rack.

(You have came like an angel. I was so bored sitting at home. I will come right away)

Ibaad stiffened when she put her hands on his shoulder for support as she was wearing her jooti.

"Ho gaya," Mishal smiled and fixed her hair.

(Done)

They both went for a long walk in the park as they both were talking to each other. Umair was crying and they decided to buy him something from the nearest shop.

"Bhaiya, 2 chupa chup lollipop," Mishal said tapping her fingers on the table impatiently.

(Brother, 2 lollipops)

"Ek lollipop kaafi hai Umair ke liye," Ibaad said and she narrowed her eyes.

(One lollipop is enough for Umair)

"Ek hamara hai," Mishal pouted and moved away her candy from his gaze.

(It's mine)

Ibaad look at her with amused eyes and made up his mind.

The ringing of his phone disturbs their conversation.

"I will be there," Ibaad said and ended the call.

"I have to the government offices to collect some important documents. Can you drop Umair at our home? Sorry for the inconvenience though," Ibaad said and she smiled.

"Aap chill kare. Ham gappu ko apne ghar le jaayenge. Ham dono bohot masti karenge phir ham gappu ko aapke ghar chhod denge," Mishal chirped as she took Umair in her arms while Ibaad was looking at her with amused eyes.

(Relax. I will take him to my home. We will have fun and then I will drop him at your home)

Hayder entered her room and was stunned by seeing the kid in Mishal arms.

"Kiska baccha hai?" Hayder asked as he sat beside her on the couch.

(Whose kid is this)

"Ham dono ka tou nahi sakta. Aapne tou kuch kiya hi nahi hai. Khair, pados mai rahta hai umair. Hame bacche bohot pasand haina tou ham aksar gappu ke saath khelte hai," Mishal said making his eyes widen.

(It can't be our kids because we haven't done anything. Well, he lives in our neighborhood. I love kids. So I used to play with him)

"Tum abhi khud bacchi ho," Hayder chuckled.

(You are still a kid)

"Haan. Aur aap kuch saal pehle ye bacchi se shaadi karne ke liye mare jaa rahe the" Mishal mocked.

(Yes. And you were dying to marry this kid a few years ago)

"Excuse me- kuch bhi sochti ho tum. Agar mai tumse shaadi nahi karta tou kon karta. Tumhe sirf mai hi jhel sakta hoon," Hayder scoffed.

(You think whatever is wrong. If I wouldn't have married you, no one will. I can only tolerate you)

"Agar hamara aapse nikah nahi hua hota na, tou ghar ke bahar lambi line hoti rishton ki. Hame koi kami hai kya rishton ki," Mishal said in a proud tone.

(If I wouldn't have been committed to you, there would be a long line of proposals. There's no lack of proposal for me)

"Khair Akal ki tou shadeed kami hai," Hayder chuckled.

(Well, you lack intelligence)

"Aisa kyu, bhae?" Mishal argued.

(Why so)

Hayder drew his eyebrows as he shoots her a glare.

"Ye kya har waqt bhae bhae laga rakha hai. Bhai nahi hoon mai tumhara," Hayder glared.

(What's with that brother thing? I am not your brother)

"Wahi tou baat hai. Aapko zara bhi ehsaas nahi hai. Hamne aapko bade bhai ka darja diya tha. Par hame kya pata ke aap shohar ke darje mai aankh jamaa kar baithe hai," Mishal said in a dramatic tone making him rolled his eyes.

(That's the matter. You don't care at all. I always understood you as my elder brother. But I didn't know that you wanted me as your wife)

"Shut up," Hayder said in a displeased tone as he was cringing over the word bhai.

Mishal put the baby on the couch and put the pillow around him in a protective way.

" Aaj aap hamko bataa hi dijiye. Itna guroor kis baat ka hai? Ham maante hai ke aap bohot handsome hai. Par iska matlab yeh nahi ke aap guroor dikhayenge," Mishal crossed her arms on her chest and said proudly.

(Today, you have to tell me. Why you have so much arrogance? I agree that you are very handsome but why so much arrogance. That doesn't mean that you will show arrogance)

An amused smile flicked over his lips as he runs his thumb on his lower lips.

"Mai tumhe handsome lagta hoon?" Hayder asked in an amused tone as his gaze flicks on her plump soft lips.

(You find me handsome?)

"Zahir hai. Ham andhe nahi hai. Par ham bhi koi kam khoobsurat nahi hai. Aise hi hamare college ke ladke ham par fidaa nahi. Par hamne tou kabhi guroor nahi kiya hai. Tou kiska baat ka aapko itna guroor hai?" Mishal flipped her hair proudly.

(Of course, I am not blind. Well, I am not less beautiful. Everyone in my college has fallen for my beauty. But I never show any sign of arrogance. Tell me why you are so arrogant?)

A gasp escaped her lips when his finger brushes on her arms. A faint voice left her throat when his warm lips make a contact with her neck. She was blushing furiously as she was in a daze. She didn't know how to react. Mishal hissed when he sucks on the soft spot of her skin.

Hayder buried his face in the crook of her neck enjoying her warmth.

"Mujhe bhi tou pata chale kon kon fidaa hai meri biwi par," Hayder said in his deep voice sending chills to run down her spine.

(I also want to know who have fallen for my wife)

"Ham mazaak kar rahe the" Mishal forced a chuckle.

(I was just kidding)

"Ham dono ke beech konsa mazaak hai," Hayder raised his eyebrows.

(We never had a joke between us)

"Koi aa jayega. Aap chhode hame," Mishal said in a low voice as his hot breath was making her a blushing mess.

(Somone will come. Leave me)

"Jab munh phaad kar tum meri shikayat sabko bayaan kar sakti ho tou mai tumhe pyaar nahi kar sakta," Hayder said as he placed a soft kiss on her cheeks.

(When you complain about me to everyone, I can also love to express my love)

Mishal lowered her gaze as blush was coated on her cheeks. Hayder pulled away but she can still feel his hot breath on her cheeks.

She took Umair in her arms to divert her attention. She peppered kisses all over his cheeks and Hayder mouth gaped open.

Hayder was feeling jealous of the baby who got all her attention, love, care, and kisses.

His throat bobbed as cold sweats formed on his neck imagining his wife doing this to him.

Mishal unwrapped the lollipop and took it to her mouth. Hayder stiffened when she sucks the lollipop. She didn't even realize what she just did. Our naive mishal

"Bacchi ho kya tum," Hayder said in a frustrated tone. He took the lollipop from her and throw it in the nearest bin.

(Are you a kid)

Mishal crossed her arms over her chest as her lips pursued into the pout.

The knock on the door disturbs their conversation. It was Ayaan standing there. He told them that Ibaad is here to pick Umair. Mishal gives Umair to Ayaan.

"Ibaad kon hai?" Hayder raised his eyebrows as she closed the door.

(Who is Ibaad)

"Gappu's Uncle. I met him today only when I went to the park with him. He seems to be the nice guy," Mishal smiled but Hayder caught her wrist. He pulled her towards him and she collided with his chest.

"Aainda kisi ke saath bahar mat jaana. Shohar hoon main tumhara. Itna haq hai ke mai tumhe rok sakta hoon jo cheez mujhe na pasand ho," Hayder said in a deep voice causing shivers to run down her spine.

(Don't you dare go out with anyone. I am your husband. I can stop you from things I don't like)

"Aaj aap hamko bataa de kya pasand hai aapko," Mishal groaned.

(Tell me today, what do you actually like)

"Tum pasand ho na mujhe," Hayder said as a faint smile flicks over his lips.

(But I like you)

"Kya dialogue maara hai. Waah. Aap bata de hame ke aap konsi aashiqana kitaab padhi hai. Ham dhoond dhoond kar pareshan ho gaye hai," Mishal pouted.

(What a dialogue! Amazing. Tell me which romantic book you have read. I am tired of searching for a good romantic book)

"Mishal- kon sikha raha hai tumhe ye sab. Aur koi zaroorat nahi hai fuzool kitaab padhne ki. Padhai ki nahi jaati aur aashiqana kitaab padhna hai," Hayder scoffed.

(Who is teaching you this thing? You don't have to read such rubbish books. You don't study but you want to read romantic books)

"Ammi sikha rahi hai hame ye sab. Wo hame shohar ke hukook bata rahi thi. Unhone ne hi hamse kaha tha ke ham aapse bohot pyaar kare aur unhe jaldi se navaasa laa kar de," Mishal babbled without thinking twice.

(Mother is teaching me this thing. She is teaching me about husband rights. She told me to love you and give her a grandchild)

"Tumhe pata bhi hai tum kya bol rahi ho?" Hayder raised his eyebrows.

(You know what you are even saying?)

"Nahi na. Aapne hi tou hame wo chapter skip karne ko kaha tha," Mishal pouted.

(No. You only told me to skip that chapter)

"Mishal, aapko itni efforts lene ki zaroorat nahi hai. Aap padhai mai dhyaan dengi tou zyada accha hoga," Hayder glared as he said in a sarcastic tone.

(You don't have to take efforts for me. It will be better if you concentrate on your studies)

Mishal pouted and lowered her gaze in embarrassment.

"Accha na. Sorry. Aap hame aise ghoore tou mat. Biwi hai ham aapki. Aap pyaar se bhi hame dekh sakte hai," Mishal tucked the stray of hair behind her ears.

(Okay. Don't glare at me like that. I am your wife. You can stare at me with love)

A gasp escaped her lips when he delicately holds her hands. Hayder caressed her hands lightly as he placed the soft kiss on the back of her palm. He held her chin with his fingers as he was looking into her eyes.

"Main tumhe zindagi bhar pyaar se tou dekhna chahta hoon," Hayder said looking at with sincerity in his eyes.

(I always want to stare at you with love)

Mishal blushed and lowered her gaze to her lap as she was feeling shy of his romantic gesture.

The sun settled down and clouds gathered around the sky. The weather was quite chilly and humid. Suddenly, the heavy rain pours down making her soaking wet.

Mishal was standing outside her college waiting for her brothers to arrive. She tightly clutches her bag to her chest as the rain becomes heavy.

Her clothes stuck to her body like a second skin. Then she heard a car honk and a voice from near her.

"Mishal," He breathed.

"Let me drop you home. It's raining heavily," Arsalan came out of his car and motioned her to sit inside.

Mishal let out a frustrated sigh as she rolled her eyes.

"Arsalan, my brother will be coming any minutes. Thanks for the offer though," Mishal gritted her teeth in anger.

" I love the way my name rolled over your tongue," Arsalan smiled making her cringe.

Bade hi sasti qism ki aashiqana kitaab padhi hai isne, Mishal thought.

(He must have read cheap romantic books)

"Please chalein, mishi. Mujhe aap ko akele chhodna accha nahi lag raha hai," Arsalan insisted making her groan.

(Please come with him. I don't want to leave you alone)

Kutta, Mishal thought as she was looking at him with disgust.

(Bitch)

"Aap ko ek baat samajh nahi aa rahi hai. Ham chale jaayengi. Aap ko hamari fikr karne ki koi zaroorat nahi hai," Mishal said raising her voice and his jaw tightened.

(Why can't you understand simple things? I can go by myself. You don't have to worry about me)

Arsalan sat in his car and drive away without uttering a word.

Mishal tucked her wet hair behind her ears and let out a relieved sigh.

She heard a car honk and saw someone coming out of the car.

Hayder rolled the sleeves of his black shirt as he came out of the car. Their eyes met and she felt a spark igniting in the pit of her stomach.

Their body collided as they both were moving towards each other. Hayder held her arms as she was clutching his shirt tightly. He didn't what came over him but he placed a soft kiss on the end of her lips.

Mishal shut her eyes enjoying the warmth of his lips. As he pulled away, the excitement rushed into her veins.

They both sat in the car silently. Anyone can felt the sexual tension between them.

Hayder let out a grumbled sigh and raked his fingers through his messy hair. His eyes fell on her shivering figure. Her hands were shaking while she was shivering with cold. Her nose and cheeks were turning red with each passing second.

Mishal was fidgeting with her fingers in nervousness. She was deeply affected by his presence.

Hayder took his coat from the back seat and put it on her shoulder. He turned off the AC and caressed her hands softly. His warms hands were making her shivering body calm. His intense gaze was making her nervous.

Hayder revived the engine and started driving the car. All while holding her delicate hands.

Her warm cheeks glowed up as she was feeling shy. She looked out of the window biting her lips. While his heart was bursting with joy seeing her blushing because of him.

They talk to each other without uttering a word.
